Beautiful decor, luxurious surroundings and fantastic location in Deauville. As it was a special occasion we were given an upgrade to a lovely room which was very much appreciated however there were problems with our stay....see below. Had booked this hotel fo a very special occasion for my partners 50th Birthday. I had not booked an evening meal on the night of our stay as I presumed as we were staying in the hotel, that a table in the restaurant was a given! I approached the Conceirge twice - firstly to reserve a table in the Cote Royal Restaurant and was dismissed by the gentleman behind the counter and told that the restaurant was fully booked and would we like to book a fish restaurant somewhere else in the town - but spoken to in a manner unexpected in such a beautiful hotel. My partner was very, very upset at the lack of effort made to assist us and we were ushered away as if we were not important. This did in fact spoil our stay and I am going to write to complain about this directly to the Royal Barriere Hotel. Dogs barking in hotel room next door was not conducive to a brilliant stay either!

We enjoyed everything about our stay at the Royal Barriere. The room was very comfortable and had a good water view. The staff were extremely professional and helpful.

location is wonderful, pleasant sea view, hotel nice, but some renovation would be good too small fitness center for suxh a big hotel, only two towels per person is not enogh for a hotel of such level,breakfast also not to the standard of 5 star hotel Another problem - we booked through booking.com and received confirmation. However the money was never taken off my account and I was not informed untell arrival.

Un accueil personnalisé et très chaleureux, un personnel disponible, à l'écoute et efficace, un superbe établissement, de qualité, où l'on se sent bien. Très confortable Une salle de bain un peu décevante vu la qualité de l’hôtel.

Uniquement le personnel . Piscine extérieur, sauna ridicule et non mixte on ne peut meme pas partagé un moment avec sa conjointe. Chambre avec de la poussière a certain endroit.

Le personnel dans son ensemble est parfaitement aimable et attentionné. Le service en chambre est de de qualité et fait honneur à la réputation de l'établissement. La gastronomie est de qualité, même si parfois on la souhaiterait un peu moins sophistiquée! Le personnel de ménage (des chambres en particulier) n'est pas du tout conforme aux exigences d'un établissement de cette catégorie: traces de calcaire sur les pare-douche et plan de vasque. Crasse sur les joints de la baignoire. Poussière sur les rebords de fenêtres. Bidet qui fuit abondamment.....

отель расположен очень удачно, рядом променад, казино, главная улица, рестораны. персонал отеля услужлив, и очень порадовало , что на ресепшене работает рускоговорящая девушка таьяна. по всем вопросам можно обращаться к ней. в ресторане отеля можно провести прекрасный вечер. отелю много лет, и если холл отеля находится в прекрасном состоянии, то наш номер нуждался в ремонте - срочном! да чисто , да белье и полотенца все хорошо, но мебель, двери , просто жалко смотреть как такому прекрасному отелю не хватает денег на поддержание номеров в хорошем состоянии.

Un hôtel, c'est un lieu, un accueil, un service. Ici tout est au top. Je reviens souvent au Royal ou au Normandie. Et toujours avec autant de plaisir. Un jour, je n'aurais peut-être plus les moyens. Je rangerais alors ces deux hôtels dans l'album de mes plus beaux souvenirs.
