location is wonderful, pleasant sea view, hotel nice, but some renovation would be good too small fitness center for suxh a big hotel, only two towels per person is not enogh for a hotel of such level,breakfast also not to the standard of 5 star hotel Another problem - we booked through booking.com and received confirmation. However the money was never taken off my account and I was not informed untell arrival.

A beautiful hotel with superb service. We were there during the American Film festival so the town of Deauville was alive and partying into the wee hours of the morning. The restaurant in the hotel is gourmet. The setting was stunning, with the beach on one side and the quaint town on the other. We used this hotel as our base for D Day touring, Mont St Michel and Bayeax....while we would have been closer to these spots staying in Caen or Bayeux, the experience of coming home to a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere would have been lost. We would stay at Royal Barrere again in a minute!

Good location, staff v helpful, room v clean, breakfast very good (but quite expensive for a buffet) The lifts were ridiculously inadequate for such a large hotel!! There was a big queue for breakfast on sunday morning

J'ai apprécié le restaurant l'Etrier,absolument parfait. Au Normandy,p trés mauvaise restauration, donc un plus! Pour le Royal, sublissime séjour.Juste, une paranthèse, non négligeable, un acceuil déplorable a l'arrivée, propos désibligeants avec l'hotesse, de ce fait j'ai demandé son nom Cécile Boschet, aucune formation en relations humaines , vraiment dommage surtout a l'arrivée!!!Mais tout le personnel remarquable. Un trés mauvais acceuil a l'arrivée par Cécile Beauchet dépourvue de psychologie et d'éducation.aucune formation probante a ce poste.

Le personnel Etant membre de la carte "privilège", nous n'avons pas vu de différences. Est il necessaire de posséder cette carte? La propreté de la chambre (salle de bains) était à désirer. Aucune comparaison avec l'hermitage à La Baule!!

Très grande gentillesse et disponibilité du personnel (réception, conciergerie, restuarant, bar, femmes de chambres) Beau style d'une certaine époque Salle de bain pas à la hauteur d'un 5 étoiles et du prix demandé. Douche vieille avec carrelages et joints + robinetterie d'un autre temps (calcaire), fissures d'humidité au plafond dans la sdb + dans la chambre. Traces de calcaire, peu ragoutantes dans la toilette. Chambre toujours pas faite à 16 heure, pas de préparation de la chambre pour la nuit. (chambre catégorie supérieure)

Tout le personnel est vraiment très attentionné et agréable Pour un hotel de cette qualité, il n'est pas acceptable de n'avoir que deux ascenceurs pour monter dans les chambres, Chambre pas bien éclairée, Le jour du 1er novembre, entre les clients et les visiteurs externes, il était impossible de trouver une place au bar en fin d'après- midi. Le personnel était débordé (chambre faite à 17h30!! Et le plombier demandé le matin qui arrive à 18h!!). Heureusement, dès le lendemain, cela rentrait dans l'ordre...
