The hotel is looking old & worn the lift broke down the furniture is worn out we had dinner in the l,etrier (michelin star ) at best it was just ok two courses a bottle wine two drinks cost 337 euros The bar smelt of drains |

The staff was very nice and spoke English. The rooms were cleaned two times a day (once in the morning and then in the evening). The hotel was decorated nicely and it was very clean. There was a lot of attention to detail, including in the bathrooms, where they would even replace the soap with a new one every time they came. The breakfast was very nice as well. The only thing I didnt like was the L'etrier, the restaurant in the hotel. |

It was central and convenient. I didn't like having to pay for sun loungers by the pool. I have never stayed at any hotel where I have been charged to use the pool. It is listed as a facility and I don't believe guests should be charged. |

I liked the charm inside the hotel, the friendly & polite staff, the location near the beach and town center. * staff knowledge was under expectations : always have to check when asked basic questions (ie number to call reception, concierge tips etc.). It seems that this seasonal staff started recently, still a bit clumsy like a spring roe deer! :) * another annoying aspect is the "nouveau riche" customers around who speak loudly and behave insitently... * mind unexpected extracosts (ie using the pool) |

le royal barrière est un hôtel bien situé, pas besoin de voiture pour aller à la plage ou au centre ville. le service du restaurant de l'hôtel est trés moyen, manque de suivi pour le vin, de l'eau et du pain, le client esr obligé de les réclamers. |
