Very nice building in a quiet street and yet quite central. View of trees from the window. Friendly staff.
It's part of a chain, and the furnishing (bath products and towels, hair dryer, tv, room service ) although adequate, are very basic. But you know about this before.
Large comfy bed.Silent room
The menu was not sufficiently French for us. We had to go out to look for real French food.
Reception staff were exceptional! They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable.
The dinner was average. In all fairness, the host set expectations that it was a café, not a restaurant.
Honesty of house keeping staff in handing in item left in room after checkout.
Shower head faulty - or needed thorough clean! Some furniture very shabby. Towels very thin and small - was this an Ibis? Cardboard cups! Only 2 cardboard cups, 1 breakfast tea & 1 earl grey bag & instant coffee for 2 people. So we had to wash our disposable cups after coffee or tea - pathetic. How about at least 4 cups plus 2 of each tea bag - is that too much to ask when paying over Euros120 per night for 3 nights booked well in advance!!!
Walking distance from centre and Insead. Nice garden. Comfortable room
Rated 4star and it earns it.
Nothing to not like.
Good location - only 10min walk into the town
No restaurant only bar snacks & I was served the worse club sandwich I have ever eaten!
Great hotel, really helpful staff, perfect location to get out to the Grand Parquet.
We were staying the weekend due to the pony competition at the Grand Parquet and given our days were very busy and long, we would have liked to have stayed in the hotel to eat every evening but the choice was extremely limited.
Good location for an easy walk into town for eating in evenings. Easy access to and from. Plenty of on site parking. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast available. Coffee and tea making facilities in room.
Limited eating options at hotel itself for evening meals, especially for the weekends.
Great receptionist so helpful, clean and spacious
lots of things made it a not so pleasent stay like the restaraunt is closed on weekends within the hotel - room service at night is a couple options only - under staffed - no smiles mostly only a few employees felt like they are in the hotel industry - issues with room cleaning - food presentation in the room was medicore to say the least and comments options only - under staffed - no smiles mostly only a few employees felt like they are in the hotel industry - issues with room cleaning - food presentation in the room was medicore to say the least and comments like your room is the last room in the cleaning list and prevents us from taking the rest of the day off was mentioned twice by the cleaning manager. The hotel is right next to the conference facilities
The hotel shows it's age and needs refurbishment. The price is a bit steep for what they offer but they have a quasi Monopoly. Dirty ceiling from the Airco which also makes far too much noise.
lovely food, comfortable spacious room with plenty of storage space.
too hot ! had to open the window over night and turn the thermostat to zero.
Reception area is bright and very presentable. Staff are very helpful and friendly and the rooms were clean with a comfortable bed. In our opinion this is the best hotel in Fontainebleau. One added bonus is the hotel car park. Parking in Fontainebleau is a nightmare at the moment
Clean Good parking Comfortable
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Their ability to speak English was also very helpful. Parking was safe and spacious. The gardens at the back are beautiful. Only blocks away from Fountainebleu Palace. Very good for the money.
