The location was great. Ecole Militaire metro stop is just outside of the hotel. We had a view of the Eiffel Tower from our room. We had a courtyard view room which was quiet. The wifi connection was good. The staff was very courteous and helpful.
The room was very small. The bed was small. The furnishings were old. The elevator was tiny. We were on the 7th floor.
The best part was location 5min walk to eiffel tower Beside hotel is metro station Clean nice hotel
Very small elevator For only two people if you have luggage with you,you gonna have trouble with fitting it in elevator steps are very hard to walk on as well
Check-in receptionist was not helpful or courteous. The lift is a joke. It's as big as a box you might receive a refrigerator in. I had to go to check in desk to get clean towels. 2 flights of stairs to check in which isn't good for seniors or handicap people. Not worth the money. Find someplace else to stay.
The location was excellent - a very decent locality and next to the Ecole Militaire metro station which helped us to travel easily to many sightseeing attractions in Paris. And it was just 10 minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower! Grocery shops are next door.
Very cramped room, barely any space to move. The bathroom floor was higher than the room floor and hence there is a chance of water coming into the room. The elevator can barely house 2 persons without luggage. But for Paris standards, pretty OK for the price I guess (115 Euros).
We stayed four nights at the Royal Phare Hotel. Next to the metro, a Carrefour supermarket, and several cafes. Close to the Eiffel tower and Rue Cler. Our room was small, on the second floor, at the back overlooking the courtyard, so very quiet. At 115 euros a night with an en suite bathroom and free WiFi it was good value for central Paris. We ate breakfast at the hotel on two mornings and for 7.50 euros each it was a bargain compared to what cafes in the area charge. Plus you can have as many cups of coffee you want. The staff were friendly and all spoke good English. All in all we had a pleasant stay and would certainly consider staying here again.
Location and staff member helpful
Rooms very basic.
Excelent quality of staffs with a lot of hospitality. Very quiet in spite of the situation.
Unconvenient lift stopping between the floors.
close to the Eiffel tower
Elevator very small but it did have one!
Location, Price, Helpfull staff.
Location Wifi access
Very small room A bit threadbare Staff not very friendly Lots of street noise
Bed was to small, elevators were really small, hard to fit luggage. Not many plug in in the room. Heater wasn't on. Didn't have cold water.
Location is excellent. Breakfast was OK, but we only used it once. The man who runs it is very nice, and it's a good price for the location. Groceries are right next store, and laundry around the corner. Metro just outside the door.
Very small rooms, showers, and elevator. Carpet wasn't vacuumed the 4 days we were there, but otherwise it was clean, but old.
Waking up to the smell of croissant; perfect location; next door to Carrefour; great staff at restaurant on the corner.
Decor is outdated but it was clean and cheap.
the hotel location is good but other things is poor
- Eiffel tower is 5 minutes away - Metro station 'Ecole Militaire' is just a couple of steps away - Supermarket is in the next building which is open until 23:45 - Nice and helpful staff - Clean room with good WiFi - Small fridge and fan in the room
It was everything ok. Near everything. Some of the personnel very kind
Tea&cofee facilities. Missing at all
Bathroom / shower to small. Carpet was dirty Noise through the walls and ceiling
I have paid for two nights, but could not go first day due to train ticket. And one day head I called to hotel, and informed them. Two different staff members of hotel said me I will be ok, you have to write petition, and we will take into consideration. When I reach hotel the manager absolutely refused to listen to me on this issue. He claimed that because of booking.com they are not able to help me. He said that the hotel paid to booking.com for two nights, therefore I have to have for nights. It was ok for me, I did not like facilities, comfort, value for money at all. Kitchen and reception is in the same room, even in the entrance. Very small space for this..i̇n short, horrible..
good location, close to many attractions and metro.
Located really good- right next to metro station, 10 min from Eiffel Tower, from our window we saw Invalides and Ecole Militare.
Basic bathroom, tiny shower-cabine, but its all not a problem if you stay in this hotel just for sleeping.
Staff, location, street parking outside the hotel, wifi, room 64 - we had the view of effiel tower!! Absolutely loved it.
Lift was too small and entrance on first floor but manageable not too bad!!
- Conjusted rooms - no wifi signals but internet passcode will be provided.. I dont know why they are giving. - 1 person Lift. you can take luggage with you.. 1st need to send luggage and u have to go by stairs and collect them.
Located smack in the middle of Paris - walking distance to most things.
Lack of tea/coffee facilities in the room.Refused a cup of hot water for a tea in the evening by Reception Staff.Young male receptionist on Sunday and Monday evening (10-11 Aug) too busy talking with friends through his white headphones rather then deal with a guest in person.Felt totally ignored by him.Female staff friendliness definitely highers up the rating of this nice hotel.
