Restaurants are nearby, 6 steps away from Carrefour and Metro.
The PM shift staff in the reception during our from 17-21 November was unhelpful, when we ask some information and timings of the shops he always refer as to check in the internet. No kettle and the hot water for coffee is only available from 7 am till 9am. The elevator was like 12 inches width and 36 inches length, 1 pax and a luggage will fit in a single trip. Not sure if all the cheap hotel in Paris are the same. But don't expect that much from this hotel.
Close to Metro. Walking distance to most everything.
It was rather noisy. Had no hot water my last morning.
Too small Lift and Bed
Very friendly and helpful staff and excellent location. The receptionist gave us very useful information, which resulted in a more profitable stay. The breakfast is really worth it!
Not necessarily a bad thing, but I noticed that the bed linen is not changed every day. I'm sure they would have changed it if I had asked though. I just didn't bother to ask.
Highly Recommended. Being very close to the Metro, 5 minute walk to Eiffel Tower, a Carrefour beside the hotel, a nearby good and cheap restaurant just next corner like Chinese to go, bakery, roasted chicken, oyster bar, fruits etc in the same street. It is also the same lane to Opera station if you are coming back and forth from CDG airport using the Rossybus direct to Paris.
if you are carrying a huge luggage. The elevator is too small and can fit only three person w/o the luggage. Not really a big deal.
10 feet from the metro and 10 minute walk to Eiffel Tower. And the walk there is beautiful, it goes straight through the park that leads to the Eiffel Tower. Staff was great and there was unlimited WiFi! Yes, the rooms are small and very basic and yes the elevator is smaller than any closet I've seen, but I certainly didn't come to Paris for any of those things. This was definitely good money spent and perfect location.
The location can't be beat. The room had a great view. Neighborhood has everything you want right out the door - lively yet quiet enough. Staff were very helpful.
Nothing to dislike - room is what a Paris hotel room should be, clean and comfortable but small.
Excellent location. Very near to Metro Station and walking distance to Eiffel Tower, Invalides and other tourist spots.
Staircase and Lift are narrow and small. No air condition and unable to control temperature in the room.
Location near Eiffel Tower, Metro station and Carrefour.
Everything except the location. They have the smallest lift I've ever seen in my whole life. Our room was very small we had to walk sideways at the foot of the bed. Room was smelly and looked filthy. Furnitures were very crude and old.
The price! Very comfortable bed. Polite staff Our room - at the back of the hotel - was quiet at night
You wouldn't expect luxury at this price and you don't get it! The rooms are small and the decor dated.
The location is just opposite Ecole Militaire Station and beside Carre four. It is accesible to almost everything. Its just a walking distance to Eiffel tower. I had such a wonderful time!
Wifi isn't that good. If you get a room on the 5th floor, signal is on and off. One tiny lift that takes forever to open.. So far, I had a pleasant stay!
walking distance to the metro and eiffel tower. and 30 secs away to a grocery store.
the receptionist who received us in the evening. he was on the phone chatting to a friend and didn't even bother to hang up and attend to us. just handed us a piece of paper and asked to pay immediately.
Everything including the difference in stars advertised as 3 to the hotel being 2 star on arrival. Despite saying there was a lift to all rooms for disabled - anybody who was totally wheelchair bound would not fit in the lift or be able to get into the hotel at all. Lucky for me my Mum was able to walk a few steps but could not access reception or the breakfast area at all
The location was great. Ecole Militaire metro stop is just outside of the hotel. We had a view of the Eiffel Tower from our room. We had a courtyard view room which was quiet. The wifi connection was good. The staff was very courteous and helpful.
The room was very small. The bed was small. The furnishings were old. The elevator was tiny. We were on the 7th floor.
The best part was location 5min walk to eiffel tower Beside hotel is metro station Clean nice hotel
Very small elevator For only two people if you have luggage with you,you gonna have trouble with fitting it in elevator steps are very hard to walk on as well
Although room on the smaller size (just like anything in Europe), it offers free wifi, refrigerator (super convenient for snacks and drinks), clean and comfortable bed. Located within minutes walking distance from Eiffel Tower, next door to a grocery store, metro station, and a bistro cafe. Staff very helpful, polite, accommodated us with securing our luggage for a day, as our departure was long after time of checkout. Reasonably priced for its location. If going back to Paris, I would definitely to make the same hotel selection.
Check-in receptionist was not helpful or courteous. The lift is a joke. It's as big as a box you might receive a refrigerator in. I had to go to check in desk to get clean towels. 2 flights of stairs to check in which isn't good for seniors or handicap people. Not worth the money. Find someplace else to stay.
The location was excellent - a very decent locality and next to the Ecole Militaire metro station which helped us to travel easily to many sightseeing attractions in Paris. And it was just 10 minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower! Grocery shops are next door.
Very cramped room, barely any space to move. The bathroom floor was higher than the room floor and hence there is a chance of water coming into the room. The elevator can barely house 2 persons without luggage. But for Paris standards, pretty OK for the price I guess (115 Euros).
We stayed four nights at the Royal Phare Hotel. Next to the metro, a Carrefour supermarket, and several cafes. Close to the Eiffel tower and Rue Cler. Our room was small, on the second floor, at the back overlooking the courtyard, so very quiet. At 115 euros a night with an en suite bathroom and free WiFi it was good value for central Paris. We ate breakfast at the hotel on two mornings and for 7.50 euros each it was a bargain compared to what cafes in the area charge. Plus you can have as many cups of coffee you want. The staff were friendly and all spoke good English. All in all we had a pleasant stay and would certainly consider staying here again.
Location and staff member helpful
Rooms very basic.
Excelent quality of staffs with a lot of hospitality. Very quiet in spite of the situation.
Unconvenient lift stopping between the floors.
close to the Eiffel tower
Elevator very small but it did have one!
