Royal Rochebrune  

The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful from arrival to departure. The room was excellent value for money, comfortable and inviting and warm following a day on the slopes. The location across the road from the telephrique and the ski storage make it eminently suitable for easy skiing especially with a bar/cafe being adjacent to the lift for morning coffee before starting skiing and a beer at the end of the day. The Royal Rochbrune is less than an easy 10 minute walk from the centre of Megeve which is a wonderful old fashioned resort with lots of beautiful buildings and a host of cafe's, restaurants and bars not frequented by the 18/30 brigade and is suitable for people with young families who would like a relaxing time. The underground parking, ease of access, attitude of the staff and comfort of the room made the trip very pleasurable. We shall be staying again next year.

Tea and Coffee in the room would have been nice however this was available from the bar. An information package in the room about the hotel and local area would have helped however this was more than made up for by the check in staff who helped with all of our questions in fluent English (and a host of other languages).

It was a really nice hotel, with good facilities and very helpful staff (especially Peter), and ideally located for the ski slopes. The problem we had with the transfer (see negative comments) was sorted very quickly.

They were not there when we arrived at the airport, had nearly a 2 hour wait to be picked up! The breakfast was fairly expensive (17 euros) and even though it was a good breakfast I dont think it was worth that price.

It was the only hotel offering a short stay in advance that was in a good location. They were booked to collect us from the airport but mixed up the time so weren't there. This meant a 90 minute delay for us but they happily offered to pick up our rather large bar tab which they did at the end of our stay with no complaint. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms very comfortable if a little snug. Plenty of hot water at any time of the day.

It was a bit of a bun fight at breakfast. The food was nice, just a faff to get it and sort out seating.

Con tanti turisti italiani in zona, pochi dello staff parlano italiano, non solo nell'hotel anche nelle strutture (ristoanti, bar,) varie a Megevè.

Le prix de la chambre à ce moment là.

Je ne mettrai pas un prix plus important, il n'en vaut pas le coup ! Restaurant fermé le soir, personnel de la réception sale, pas rasé le matin à 9h et sachant à peine parler français... Pas de feu dans le cheminée, sacs poubelle trainant dans les couloirs. L'hôtel fonctionnait au ralenti en attendant l'ouverture de la saison mais ce n'était pas précisé lorsque j'ai réservé.

Rien en dehors de sa bonne situation proche du téléphérique de Rochebrune !

Je ne vois pas ce que cet établissement a de "royal" ! Le personnel espagnol parle à peine le français. Pas un sourire et la réception vous propose de préparer vos ski pass pour le lendemain matin de votre arrivée et ils ont oublié de vous les préparer lorsque vous venez les récupérer. Chambre à la décoration défraichie (ne jugez pas sur les photos mises sur le site : elles sont très bien prises et très flateuses....). Je ne recommande pas cet établissement dont le rapport qualité/prix est mauvais. Allez ailleurs car pour 40 € de plus, vous aurez nettement mieux et on vous parlera dans un bon français.

Sa situation geographique essentiellement a 10 mn du centre de megeve

Rapport qualite/prix bien moyen la chambre est agreable mais salle de bain trop petite (+wc dans la salle de bain) .personnel pas tres professionnel et quelquefois limite au niveau courtoisie (notamment le matin au buffet du petit dejeuner)

Le parking, assez vieillot

Personnel qualifie et acceuillant. Chambre superieure tres confortable et propre avec 2 grandes baies vitrees. Sdb avec fenetre. Le lit bebe prepare pour notre fils de 2 ans etait parfait, linge douillet neuf.

Hotel Sympa - pas grand monde en cette periode donc calme !
