The best thing was walking out of the back of the hotel to the ski shop who had our skiis ready and boots warmed and then a few steps up to the Rochebrune telecabine which gives access to most of Megeve Also could ski back to the hotel easily The bedroom was nice and warm in spite of outside being -20 and very cosy.bed comfortable etc Very good value for money and would definitely stay there again

We thought the breakfast was expensive Sometimes there was a long wait for dinner,we thought the staff were a bit stretched Cups at breakfast were too small-only really hold half a cup

The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful from arrival to departure. The room was excellent value for money, comfortable and inviting and warm following a day on the slopes. The location across the road from the telephrique and the ski storage make it eminently suitable for easy skiing especially with a bar/cafe being adjacent to the lift for morning coffee before starting skiing and a beer at the end of the day. The Royal Rochbrune is less than an easy 10 minute walk from the centre of Megeve which is a wonderful old fashioned resort with lots of beautiful buildings and a host of cafe's, restaurants and bars not frequented by the 18/30 brigade and is suitable for people with young families who would like a relaxing time. The underground parking, ease of access, attitude of the staff and comfort of the room made the trip very pleasurable. We shall be staying again next year.

Tea and Coffee in the room would have been nice however this was available from the bar. An information package in the room about the hotel and local area would have helped however this was more than made up for by the check in staff who helped with all of our questions in fluent English (and a host of other languages).

Une chambre trop petite,pas de possibilité de poser une valise et encore moins deux puisqu'en couple,chambre tres mal insonorisée: bruit des voisins entrant dans leur chambre,bruit de la pluie tombant sur des plaques métaliques sous la fenétre de la chambre.....Enfin il est vrai que le prix pouvait sembler attractif mais dans la mesure où le confort serait en adéquation avec le statut de l'hotel : 3 étoiles

Si vous aimez un minimum d'espace acceptable dans une chambre alors ne choisissez pas cet Hotel, on peut tout juste ouvrir la porte à cause du lit derrière!!! Et puis si vous devez annuler une nuit supplémentaire à cause d'un imprévu ça c'est juste impossible!!! Nous avons été assez déçu par cet Hotel.

situation/ accueil/ restauration/ gentillesse personnel

Situation géographique par rapport au centre ville. Proximité des pistes.

Personnel ne parlant quasiment pas français (mais espagnol) dans tout l'hôtel. Service déplorable au restaurant : -Attente très longue le soir pour prendre la commande et livraison des plats. -Manque de tout au petit déjeuner: attente pour remplacer nourriture manquante ou couverts manquants. -personnel qui se dispute devant la clientèle et qui échange des insultes en espagnol! Très petites chambres. Aucune lumière dans les couloirs. Obligé d'aller dans le noir à l'autre bout du couloir pour accéder à la cellule de détection des mouvements pour avoir de la lumière.

L'accueil et le rapport qualité/prix. L'excellent buffet - petit déjeuner.

Je ne vois pas ce que cet établissement a de "royal" ! Le personnel espagnol parle à peine le français. Pas un sourire et la réception vous propose de préparer vos ski pass pour le lendemain matin de votre arrivée et ils ont oublié de vous les préparer lorsque vous venez les récupérer. Chambre à la décoration défraichie (ne jugez pas sur les photos mises sur le site : elles sont très bien prises et très flateuses....). Je ne recommande pas cet établissement dont le rapport qualité/prix est mauvais. Allez ailleurs car pour 40 € de plus, vous aurez nettement mieux et on vous parlera dans un bon français.
