The location was convenient to the metro station and in walking distance to Notre Dame and the Louvre. It is one block south of the Seine making it very easy to get one's bearings. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to be of assistance. Their English was excellent. One of our excursions was cancelled the day before the trip and they were extremely accommodating in helping us to find a substitute last minute excursion. They completely took care of making all the arrangements for us and showed us how to get to the location on a map. Our room was on the street side of St Michel which was a bit noisy with the windows open but surprisingly very quiet once closed. A wonderful breeze came through the windows when opened and when closed we had no trouble sleeping. The beds were very comfortable and the room and bathroom were roomy by Paris standards. I would highly recommend this hotel. The breakfast was very good with many choices. However, at various times some people had to wait for a table. Possibly one more staff person would be helpful to clear and set the tables.

Perfect location, charming room with a very Parisian view. Friendly staff. Generally a feeling of good service - not too common in Paris unfortunately! The room was very small, as was the breakfast room, not to mention the elevator! For a longer stay, this would probably start getting on your nerves.

The hotel's absolute location is the comforter thought for the price, especcialy if you visit Paris for first time. But finally Paris is an expensive capital. Actually the hotel was perfect for this area, clean, safe and lift too. Highly recommend .

The central location, the ease of checking in, the ease of checking out. The friendliness of the staff. The helpfulness of staff to order a taxi to take me to the airport, was all most appreciated. The fact that my credit card was rejected even though it was perfectly functional. This gave me a month of worries as it meant I could not use it for anything else until I had access to a landline in the hotel itself. (I live in Wadi Rum, Jordan where there is no land line). The telephone call cost me in excess of 18Euros in order to correct this problem, which I had not created myself. There seemed no facility to make this call reverse charges even though the bank said it was possible. To date I have no idea why this card was rejected, the bank in Australia denies it was at fault.

The location is great, housekeeping was spot-on, breakfast was excellent. No "next door neighbor" noise (but see comment re:street noise). Front desk staff not particularly helpful. WiFi was TERRIBLE: low connectivity/limited availability of connection based on how many people were already using it, front desk staff acted as if they were giving away rights to their firstborn when giving the passkey. Lots of street noise, entire facility smells of cigarette smoke in spite of having a non-smoking floor/room. Elevator really can only be used by one person/suitcase at a time: take the stairs!!

The staff were wonderful and very accommodating. They gave us a late checkout when my brother fell ill, and they brought our luggage up for us and stored our strollers downstairs. The breakfast was delicious as well, and the rooms (though small) were cozy and nicely decorated. The elevator was absurd - but I actually kind of liked it as it was a great story and generally amused us every time we saw it.

Perfect location When I did my booking, total charge for two night was Euro420. When I checked out, the guy at the reception charged my card with a total Euro687. We realized it only in the taxi and when we called them back asking to clarify this amount, they told us that "by mistake" they put 22 (!!!) bottles of red wine on the room where I stayed. They promised to return this money back on the credit card (not done yet). But I assume that hotel clerk could just apply common sense to understand that it is impossible to drink 22 bottles during two-nights stay in a single room. I had a feeling that they just thought I will not check my receipt and charged more money. Very disappointing experience which you do not expect from the 4 start hotel.

The staff were great - they spoke english and were very helpful in answering all our questions whether it be general questions about Paris or booking tour and airport transfers which they easily did for us. The rooms were clean and room service came everyday with failure. It was great having breakfast at the hotel every morning before we headed out for the day. The hotel is in a very good location - close to restaurants, shops, the river, notre dame etc. The lift was very small so just mainly used the stairs. The bathroom was quite small but probably standard for Europe.
