Best Western Premier Royal Saint Michel  

The hotel is really close to the metro & not very far from the rer. Unfortunately the metro doesn't have lift or escalator so it is not very helpful if you have big luggages to haul; but it is very convenience otherwise.

The hotel is 4 stars but comparing with others 2 & 3 stars we stayed during our trip in France & Italy, it is not really up to the standard. The wifi is free but not conveniently in your room, I feel like in a cheap hotel (for the price I have paid). The salt for the bath has not been refilled after the 2nd day. The coffee is bad. The service at the breakfast is not friendly. The people at the service desk is not always friendly (depend who is at the reception).

The location is excellent. The room was an average size - better than I've stayed in before in Paris and the bathroom was a good size as well with all the toiletries I required and a mini-bar that can be used as a fridge as well. There is a lounge/lobby area on the ground floor that is comfy and well kept. There is a lift as well, small so it would take a little bit to wait for a group of people to get to their rooms if they can't carry their luggage, but it was always available when we used it. The breakfast was pastries, coffee, hot food, fruit salad, yoghurt etc. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The lift was tiny. Breakfast was not great. Cooked eggs cost another 5 euros.

The location is perfect for paris visitors wishing to explore the main attractions. easily accessed. nice room with a large bed . plenty of cafes, restaurants,bistrots etc.

Would like to have a kettle in the room for coffee/tea preparation.

Location. Right near the metro, shops restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff, comfy bed and decent breakfast.

Small rooms (but that is to be expected in Paris) the room was still comfortable and the hotel was quiet at night.

Staff were lovely and helpful. It is in a great part of the city - lots of restaurants, people and shops. Close to metro and buses. Great spot.

the first room we got which was described as a double room was really tiny with a 140 cm bed which was very small and uncomfortable for two fully grown ups... after requesting we were moved to another room which was a bit bigger but especially with a bigger bed suitable foir two people. the elevator in the hotel is so samll that two persons can hardly fit in you need to really squize yourself in order to get in and at the same time push the requested button. the lobby and dinning rooms are very small, i don't think that 4 stars are a thrue description of the hotel. the staff was ok, but even though we requested a few time, both bed lamps in our second room were broken and for the duration of our stay were not fixed.

Location in the centre of Paris was a huge 'plus' but this has its downside as well (see below).

Hotel entrance is small and could easily be missed. Apart from reception everything is at first floor level or above. The emphasis is clearly on 'packing people in' as there was no lounge or even an open area for sitting, chatting or relaxation. The breakfast room is small and seats a maximum of 20 people (10 tables of 2 seats). We had to wait one morning. Biggest disappointment was that having booked a room for 2 (admittedly elderly) people I was given a twin bedded room (the beds were pushed together) and it was obvious that adjacent rooms had double beds. I should have complained at the time but didn'T. Very busy outside (Latin Quarter) with young people 'on the go' until well after 2 am. On Friday night/Saturday morning.

The place in Paris, in city center, nearby to everything. Underground station just in front of hotel , rer direct to the airport. Very good breakfast. Madam at breakfast room, very very nice and efficient. Very attentive and nice staff Very clean room. Bed and pillows very good and confortable

We took a triple room (three adults) and we had a very comfortable, room was large. Also very clean, very comfortable facilities and has Komokom excellent hairdryer, large TV. The service was very nice and helped us. Good very location !!!!!!!!
