Friendly staff Position of hotel Proximity to Metro and RER train.
Small breakfast room meant it was often difficult for guests to get seated, especially in groups of more than two. Good food but sometimes lengthy wait when things ran out, eg bread, cooked eggs etc. Small lift - not a problem if you are happy to walk up & down the stairs
it was a wonderful experience, great location ,great food ,ex staff, very good all-round hotel, highest recommendation
small lift, but then you cannot get everything
Very friendly staff, quality and comfort of the room and bed, excellent location, excellent value for money.
Good room, clean and comfortable.
Small breakfast room, rather chaotic to get served.
Too small bedroom and breakfast room impolite staff not variety in breakfast too expensive for what it offers!
older building, poor breakfast
Wifi really slow. It's like electricity and water in this day and age. Time to upgrade the routers.
Location, rooms were clean and well kept. Staff was friendly and spoke English.
Price was high but expected with location. Weather was unusually hot and AC did not work in our room but the staff quickly reacted with a room fan.
The hotel is located just off the Boukevard St Michel - ideal for all of the attractions there.
The hotel is clearly in need of some attention. The plumbing in particular needs updating. We had quite a strong unpleasant smell from our bathroom.
We liked one member of the staff at the front desk who understands common courtesies. The location and cleanliness of the hotel was acceptable. The breakfast was very good. The beds were comfortable.
Most of the staff at the front desk. Upon arrival we checked into two rooms. The air conditioning in one room was obviously not working. When we asked to be moved to another room anywhere in the hotel we were told that they were full and we could not be moved. Then we were hung up on in mid sentence. After calling back, I was hung up on again. After talking to my husband and my son, my son went downstairs and asked for another room. They were not full. I did not appreciate being lied to initially. Later we met a couple at breakfast who had been there for over a week. They were told they could not be moved and just suffered with no air conditioning (during a heat wave). When they went downstairs to ask for a different room after their first night, they heard the staff member at the front desk tell another guest that he would call the police if he continued to ask to be moved to another room due to the lack of air conditioning. Obviously a section of the hotel had a problem with air conditioning, but there was no attempt to take care of the problem and/or accommodate their guests without a fight. I would not recommend this hotel.
Close proximity to all the sights, good buses and trains nearby. Good breakfast in a cramped room. Staff helpful on all aspects that we needed.
Air conditioning not very good on a hot period in July. Dining room too small for the amount of guests catered for at the hotel.
Location, friendly staff, quality of breakfast
Size of lift, 2 people just. Small dining room, wait for breakfast at busy times. AC not very efficient.
Cleanliness and Location good. Good places to eat close by.
One-man lift to the top floor was useless and staircase a little worrying
Location, modernity, cleanliness, breakfast
If you like to walk, you can walk to many of the most popular sites. Wonderful breakfast! Everything you can ask for!
Breakfast room is very small....sometimes had to wait for a table. We had a room with three single beds. The size was adequate but we were cramped. We found the cost quite high but the location more than made up for that.
Near Metro that goes about everywhere. Price was good,
Frankly, the area is not for me. It is a fun area for newbies to Paris, but I lived where I took the train in twice a month for 5 years, and found other areas I preferred much more. (It was the place we stayed our first time, but one can't re-kindle the past.) Loud, ,almost nonexistent A/C, internet available seldom, pretend French food, barkers at restaurants to get you to come in? Really? Staff not helpful, & would not attempt to let me use French. Ask for a large room not facing the street where the A/C works. If you are a foodie, do not miss the Grande Epicerie at the Bon Marche!
Incredible location a stone's throw form Notre Dame Close to the RER from the airport Close to the Latin Quarter
A/C worked hard without much effect
The location is excellent. Right off the plaza St Michel and close to the Seine. The Latin Quarter and St German de Prés is at the doorstep.
The Room was very small for three people and extremely hot. The air conditioning did not work properly. No extra amenities, such as bath slippers were available.
The location was very good The room was fair The breakfast was ok
The elevator was very old and had room for only two persons standing very close. The breakfast room was very small, only 9 tables, quite a bit of queue.
Very good location Ok room size
Very slow wifi My friend's room's air con is not cold enough, and they refuse to fix, with a bad attitude One of the smallest lift I've ever seen, can fit only 2 thin people at most Doubt if there's another staircase in case of fire.
Loved the location. Walking distance to the louvre and Notre dame cathedral. Plenty of restaurants and shops very close. Steps from RER train and metro.
Tiny elevator- We were on 5th floor. Winding staircase.
Location is excellent
Very small breakfast room so you had to either get there very early or wait in a long queue. The lift is ridiculously small and can just about fit two people in it at a squeeze
Small lift facility
Location is excellent! The room was VERY small but that was expected. Make sure you do not have any cloths that require ironing. The room was quiet despite facing a busy street.
The air conditioning did not work. We stayed there in the hit of July. Complains did not help. Other guests seemed to be able to exchange the room. We decided not to ruin the vacation by arguing.
