Royal Hôtel  

The position was eccellent. It was around the corner from the beautiful Maison Carrè and 10/15 minutes walk from the Arena. The old city center is really close and it offers many boulangeries, shops and small restaurants. The room was very simple and quite small but airy and with interesting details.

We stayed in the Hotel only to sleep, so we really don't have anything to complain about, but I think some other potential guest may value this information: there is no elevator in this hotel (only stairs), the restaurant of the hotel is quite busy (there might be noise), the bathroom in our room had no heating system (not needed during our stay, but if you plan to visit from october to february, you might need it), parking in this part of town is not easy (luckaly there is a parking facility right under the hotel, but it's going to cost approximately 14 euro for the night).

Very good hotel, clean and comfortable, great location in the center of Nimes, view of the Maison Carree from room!

Nimes is very congested and there is no parking at the hotel but the public car park is right outside the hotel. Very centrally located for shops and city attractions

The hotel is in urgent need of refurbishment and updating. e.g. the sink in the bathroom was cracked.

Dirty unclean state of the very old bathroom, which possiblycouldn't be cleaned any better. Needs urgent refurbishment.

No elevator. Also, WIFI is not available in all rooms

Architecture

The good quality-price relation. It could be considered as a boutique hotel

there was neither curtain in the bath nor door and it wasn´t too clean

Hôtel en centre ville, avec parking gardé à proximité, au tarif abordable. Restaurant de bonne qualité. Personnel accueillant.

Bruits d'eau perceptibles d'une chambre à l'autre

Muy centrico, con la oficina de turismo justo al lado, las habitaciones superiores amplias y comfortables. Calidad excelente del wifi. Se puede desayunar en el hotel sin el petit dejune, pidiendo bebida y llevando tu el desayuno, en frente hay una pasteleria genial.

No hay ascensor. Baño muy limpio, pero muy básico.

Proximité propreté

Pas ascenseur ameublement (pas de style ds une chambre, meubles vétustes non entretenus ds une autre) pt déjeuner: pas de fruits frais, pas trop de choix pour un buffet

-Problème d'insonorisation,on entend tous les bruits extérieurs(circulation,balayeuse)il est vrai que c'est assez désagréable.,de + il n'y a pas de volets et la chambre supérieure qui se trouve non seulement sur la place qui reste éclairé toute la nuit et nous avons eu la chance d'avoir en plus un gros spot lumineux sur le mur de l'hotel qui se trouve entre les 2 fenetres de la chambre donc pour moi qui apprécie le calme et le noir,j'avoue de ne pas avoir dormi ce qui est très dommage car l'hotel est de toute beauté,très agréable mais pas reposant pour des personnes qui resterait plusieurs nuits et voulant se reposer....A Recommander oui et non tout dépend pour quoi...

Son emplacement

Ce que je reprocherai a cet Hotel, dans les circonstances actuelles, est la publicité mensongère sur le site. On annonce la climatisation, mais il y en a que dans 9 chambres, le wifi ne marchait que dans une chambre sur deux, le flexi de la douche était défectueux, le lavabo ne s'écoulait pas, etc......le personnel est charmant, l Hotel est bien situé mais cela ne suffit pas
