The location was excellent, close to the main part of the city. Service was prompt and friendly. With our limited French, we appreciated English speaking staff. The room was comfortable and the bathroom clean and modern.

All of it, it was a super hotel

The hotel is 2 blocks from the train station, an easy walk. It is across street from lovely church and at the start of the main street. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was abundant. Room was spacious and well appointed. Restaurants are nearby. It was a great experience.

The really nice bathroom, proximity to train station and all sites of interest to visit but the best thing was the really nice young man (concierge) who welcomed us, helped us as English speaking visitors and showed great care and thought in his dealings with us. Wish I had got his name, but please say thank you to him.

The quality of the room furnishings, particularly the ensuite. The man on reception was also particularly helpful.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was quite comfortable as well. I had breakfast one of the days, and it was a nice spread for the 9 euros cost.

Parking was difficult, but not impossible, due to road repairs around the hotel.

Great location - easy walk to Orleans town centre and Joan of Arc statue. Really helpful staff (thank you Chuck). Good value.

The road works outside made access a bit more difficult but that will pass.

Great service, and helpful late night check in, room clean and functional, parking (charged €10) next door. 5 mins walk to centre of Orleans.

Clearly in all respects a basic 2* and nothing more. Some maintenance underway so halls all shabby and dusty. Need to be accompanied for every trip to car, and breakfast whilst not sampled did not look good.

We booked this hotel as we needed a room for a family of 5 (2 adults, 7yr old and twin 4 yr olds) for a 1 night stop-over traveling from Calais to Montignac. Manager spoke sufficient english for us to communicate, as our french is terrible. He guided us down to the underground carpark, helped us with our bags and the incredibly tiny lift, and showed us where to walk to on the map for the places we needed. Breakfast was extra though very worthwhile, huge choice, delicious and fresh. Already planning to stay here again next year.

Air Condition was off in midnight whirle it was quite hot summer.

Warm welcome from the moment we arrived, made this no frills hotel an enjoyable place to stay, and certainly if in France again would re-visit

The guy on reception was very helpful totally offered to carry all the bags and was fully polite. The hotel had a very secure underground car park which was only another 12 euros and keeps you at peace of mind. The next day we was allowed to check out and still leave our car safely parked there until we finished doing all our stuff in the city. Please do note when the lift says 4 people and 300 kilos it means it so do add up all the kilos if 4 of you are going in the lift or it will give you a bit of a scare.

Unfortunately the room was not air conditioned but should of checked first before I booked, the room which slept 4 the beds were packed in to fit to singles either side of the double I would suggest if you want to share more than 2 book another room and also which was nothing really to do with the hotel but I'll mention anyway. The road outside was getting resurfaced when we was there and being woken up at 0752hrs is good.

We were extremely impressed with the receptionist who assisted us with parking, guided us where to go out in the evening and helped us work out our onward journey; he even refused to accept a tip! The rooms were comfortable, spacious and clean. The location was 5 minutes walk from the centre.

The rooms could do with an update and the breakfast was on the budget side, we could have sourced breakfast in a local bar or Boulangerie

The staff are what makes this hotel so wonderful. Jacque greeted us like long, lost friends and after a long journey from Calais, this was greatly appreciated by us! We also used this hotel on our way back up from the South of France and received the same warm welcome. The rooms were clean and ther breakfast was great. We were also very pleased with the location of the hotel as it was very easy to find.

Nothing- for a stop over through France this hotel is perfect.

We had an awful car journey and did not arrive until 11pm. The receptionist was very helpful and accomodating and just what we needed for a stop over on way to the South of France.

Excellent receptioin staff, knowledgable, on site parking, excellent breakfast and good value.

Good range of food at breakfast

Chuck who greeted us and we saw throughout our short stay was absolutely fabulous. He made sure we had everything we needed and was extremely flexible with our requirements having three young children to care for. We arrived late at night and he had a parking space ready and waiting before swiftly guiding us to our room which was ideal for a family of five. He made the whole experience very pleasant for us all and was so welcoming, we would definitely stay there again.

Excellent hotel, very friendly & helpful staff. I arrived by motorcycle in the rain, the receptionist helped me into the garage and helped with my bags to my room even though I was a little early. Rooms are functional & clean & breakfast was plentiful & varied. Good price & ideal for a night or two.
