Located on the French Riviera between St Tropez and St Raphael, this charming hotel is just 300 ft from beaches and restaurants. It is 165 ft from the coastal path.
Score from 122 reviews Good
Located in the Old Town of Sainte-Maxime, Hotel Royal Bon Repos features a terrace, a garden and a shared lounge area. This accommodation is 70 metres from the harbour and 150 metres from the beach.
Score from 248 reviews Wonderful
Le 21 is located in the center of Saint-Raphaël, 650 ft from the beaches and the harbor. The rooms feature flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi access.
Score from 324 reviews Very good
The Giraglia is located in Gulf of Saint Tropez, in the Port Grimaud marina. It has an outdoor swimming pool, a private beach and rooms offer balconies with sea views.
Score from 38 reviews Very good
The situation, the staff, and the general layout were all excellent. We had dinner, breakfast and stayed on for a luncheon function - the quality, value and service were first class. The general layout of the bedroom was good and the shower was superb.
The most ridiculous positioning of the bathroom waste bin which resulted in necessitating a 03:30 a.m. visit to the public toilets. Attempting to sit down with a rubbish bin positioned about 30cm on the left/front of the loo is stupidity and suggest the Manager tries out Room 103 - a height/weight ratio should be provided on their website so that only appropriate small people can book. .However, managed to remove the bin from the wall so further subterranean visits were not necessary. There are no tea, coffee facilities in the bedroom which are expected at this price of 75€. The mini-bar contained one opened can of Coca light - why?
Professionalism and friendliness of the staff. Very good value for money compared to inland. The food was extremely good and a lovely varied menu. The location can't be faulted.
The washbasin in the bathroom was impossible to use because of the length and position of the tap. Also would have loved a kettle in the room for a nightime or early hot drink.
We have stayed here about four times now . Great facilities . Lovely view . Good food .
Good views; good location; [proximity to stores and markets; free parking; comfortable room with refrigerator.
Excessive late night noise from across the road during the Roc D'Azur.
value for money
the hotel is alittle old.
food generally good
no bar car parking
Hotel location and helpful, friendly, knowledgeable staff.
4th year of eating in restaurant and still good service and delicious menu
Tea and coffee facilities would be nice in room.
Nice hotel with sea view. St Aygulf very quiet but market okay. The Omlette Festival was highly amusing. Recommend St Maxime & Port Gimaud for visits just along the coast.
Not a lot goes on in St Aygulf, but there is a lovely beach for young families & sun worshippers. We have been spoilt by Menton on the Cote D'Azur but we needed to try somewhere different!
Location, parking facility, breakfast.
Internet connection not available in the room.
The staff were fantastic and did all they could for us.chambermaids were very nice and unobtrusive..food fantastic and reasonable sized portions.Great 2 weeks and have already rebooked for next year.
Location for restaurants along the sea front was convenient. The hotel had a relaxed feel. The bathroom was modern.
We booked(and paid for) a sea view room, we had a view of trees outside our window, not the sea. The staff were not friendly The bathroom flooded, poor drainage our bedroom door had plywood screwed to it, possibly been broken into ?
Location, Rooms, Facilities, Food
The location, cleanliness and comfort was excellent. Not a cheap option but relatively good value for money. The staff all spoke perfect English, which didn't help my French but did make things a lot easier.
Nothing, other than a sea view would have been nice but not all rooms can have that. That said, my view of the rear terrace was by no means poor.
the nice restaurant terrace down at the beach
The "private beach" is very small and with rocks; you have to walk 5-10 min to go to real (creowded) sand beach where you can only lie on your towel. The rooms look pretty old, the beds are really awful made of two pieces that always separate so no way recommended for "romantic vacation"; small bathroom. The maids make a lot of noise when doing their job so forget about later wake up as you maybe would like on holiday. The restaurant staff hardly speak any basic English which easily can go to many misunderstandings. The wi-fi is very poor in the rooms. The road to St. Aygulf is always very crowded so not to good for making day trips along the Cote d'Azur. And in St. Aygulf there is almost nothing to be done.
I last stayed in St Aygulf 55 years ago. Boy, has it grown. Rooms were good, clean, modern. Staff were helpful and friendly. Parking was easy. Restaurant was expensive, but food and service were good. Breakfast was good, and good value. A good position for the hotel, with beaches and facilities conveniently close.
We were directed to the Blue and White beach club where we would be called when our rooms were ready: 1) the club facilities were fully reserved; 2) we were not called, but on returning to the hotel some hours later found that the rooms had been made ready. Rooms on the second floor on the side of the building (overlooking the car park, road, neighbouring restaurants, etc - and eventually a site of the sea) did not exactly conjure up the description listed on the booking as "private balcony with sea views".
Everything besides the beds
The matrasses were awful and worn out (way too soft)
Loved all of it - we booked as our friends were getting married here and everything was amazing, food, location, room. Couldn't fault it.
very good location close to St Raphael, clean and comfort room, nice design, nice bathroom, nice location of breakfast room, free and separated parking, efficient staff.
beach cannot be called a real beach, internet was not working.
Breakfast and value for money dinner
Parking, breakfast, helpfull reception staff.
Noisy airco, leaking water inside small, crowded beach
The sleep comfort is terrible. The beds are really small and "wobbly".
Views Large balcony Free parking
The restaurants & cocktail bars across the road remain quite noisy in the early hours of the morning. But okay if you close the balcony doors and use air conditioning.
We haven't receive extra bed for our young boy. (11 years old ), even we ask it... We sleep all 3 in one bed...
