Clean, comfortable hotel and ideal for a city break

Location. Not on a major metro line.

Very nice, small, quiet, clean hotel. Free wi-fi in your room. Best you can get for this price.

Staff was great. Quiet location. Good "locals" restaurant right accross the street. Less than 10 minute walk to metro stop "Place d'Italie" -- easy to get to all locations. Room was very small but that is to expect in Paris and reasonable price. Beds were comfortable and room was clean.

The room was small but had everything that we needed.

The staff were excellant. Welcoming, helpful and efficient. The room was small but well designed , clean, warm lovely decor ,bathroom clean and modern .Breakfast buffet had everything you could want .

There wasnothing to dislike.

We liked the friendly staff and the overall cleanliness of the hotel. We also liked the quietness of the hotel and street on which it was located.

We found it hard to find a top quality restaurant within the area

If you are the first time go to Paris and not really good at reading maps. You may fail to find that hotel.

The room was nice and clean, even though a bit small, but hey, it's Paris.

It was crowded.

They gave us a room with a bathroom for handicap,where there is no bath, and the shower is basically the floor of the bathroom (whenever we had to take a shower, the entire bathroom was completely wet). When I asked for a different room, the guy told me that the rooms and bathrooms were all the same (which was not true). The pictures of the room are much better than the room per si. Be carefully when you reserve the room in this hotel....

Very clean, well organized, & new or newly renovated facility. Fresh, new sheets, pillows, towels & no carpets. With towel warmers, & the best aerated shower head in the world! Good safe & fridge in the room.

Room is quite small almost as small as Tokyo hotel rooms, so not enough room to sit/relax. Need a mirror in the room too. Hangar height too low for coats over safe. Need to provide (or charge for?) disposable slippers for guests. Location a bit difficult to find initially, as L'esperance not on most maps.

The room was exceptionally clean and well serviced on a daily basis with fresh towels and soaps laid out. Staff at the desk were helpful and spoke in both French and English, and secure free Wifi was provided. The hotel was only about 7 metro stops from all the big attractions. Overall, it was a superb place to stay.

There was very little that I didn't like. Perhaps the room was a bit small, though it suited me perfectly.

It's in a great neighborhood. Relatively close to metro stop. The beds, and shower were top notch. Really good value, and clean.

The staff at the hotel does not care about your needs or requests. The room is just too small.

Room size - would have been better if a little bigger

Great location - lots of lively and friendly restaurants and bars. Easy access to the major sights of Paris by metro. Hotel: tasteful decor, small but comfortable rooms, light and airy. Did not take breakfast but there is a kettle, tea, coffee in the room and a fridge. Good views over the surounding rooftops from the 5th floor.

Needed a coatstand or some hooks for hanging coats. Also in the shower area, for hanging wet towels. Some fixtures in the shower were loose and need maintenance (room 503).

The hotel is located in a nice neighbourhood. Staff is friendly and they will help you about anything. Wi-fi is free and has average speed. New noise-isolated rooms.

Rooms are very small. You have to walk 5-6 minutes to the metro station and there are stairs close to the station (about 50 steps).

The receptionists were very polite. The room was fresh and modern, and the bathroom was squeaky clean. The metro stop is only a short walk away. Great place!

The room was a bit small, but for the price it really isn't a big issue.

Excellent hotel, very friendly staff with a nice modern feel. Sheets were changed everyday and fresh towels were brought in each morning. Great bathroom facilities, close to the metro station a lovely bakery and a 24 hour supermarket. I would definitely stay here again.

House keeping knocked twice and then entered the room even though we were still in bed. Breakfast a bit steep at 14€
