In central Paris, this hotel is just half a mile from Gare du Nord and 165 yards from Bonne Nouvelle Metro Station, which leads to many tourist attractions.
Score from 1057 reviews Very good
The hotel is situated in an area awash with authentic bars and cafes, all reasonably priced. One gets the feeling that one is seeing the real Paris. The major tourist attractions are just a short walk away. The hotel itself is a hidden gem. The facilities were lovely and the staff were fantastic.
I booked this hotel for a client and I am appalled by how my client was treated by the 'Manager' of this hotel. He was rude, abrupt and threatening to my client. This left her uneasy and uncomfortable. He presented my client with the invoice for the stay which was pre-paid and confirmed with the hotel before hand, that no other payments will be made other than for the breakfast which was to be paid in cash on check-out. My client then had to contact us at 07:30 (UK) to take credit card details, having in mind office hours are 08:30 (UK). He then faxed us an urgent demand of payment, not so long after he faxed us a receipt of the payment which was made in December 2014. Causing further confusion to why he held my client at the hotel and demanding payment. Also, demanding identification from my Managing Director as apparently the credit card was not sufficient. Not only was this service unacceptable, it was inconvenient and unnecessary. We will no longer be staying at this hotel. The service given was an absolute disgrace.
The location, room size, everything!
Wooden floors or tiles, good bed, nice neighbourhood with lots of restaurants
Hotel is not very close to the subway
The location is "tucked away" from downtown so you leave the crowds there. The cafes that line the street are very good. We tried many over the 6 days we were there, and were never disappointed. It felt like a true Parisian experience. Would definitely recommend as a home base from which to explore Paris.
Staff was incredibly helpful and very nice; the location of the hotel was superb (walking distance from the Latin quarter - only 35 - 40 min walk! 10 min walk from the nearest tube station); also, great local restaurants! The hotel was in a cosy neighborhood.
The room was very hot! We slept without blankets! on the other hand, it was a nice contrast coming from the outside cold :)
Decor was nice , staff very pleasant and helpful - hotel was super clean.
Breakfast was poor for the money. Paid 14€pp per day and it was not worth the price. This us our only grumble
Location ıs very bad. The rooms are very small thin walls are not izolation. You can hear next room talking. Away from metro statıon. Lokasyon kotu odalar ve odalara giden koridor dahi oldukca dar. Yan odadaki konusmalar rahatlikla duyuluyor. Metroya uzak 20 dakika yurume mesafesinde. Mevcut istasyonda merkeze uzak. Yorumlara inanip tuttuk temizlik disinda hicbiri gercek degil
Location, spacious room, comfortable bed, nice staff
Room cold at times. Kettle was uncleaned, smells weird. No towels on one of the days. Wi-fi was super slow. Stayed in triple room with bath tub, every time we use shower it just floods the bathroom. No hooks or rails anywhere to hang used towels or coat. But these are Minor details that can be overlooked for all the other good points.
Location, very clean room,
Avoid this hotel The facility cannot claim being a 3* hotel; there is no way. There is no real lobby, no room for breakfast, I have never seen a hotel’s hallway as narrow as this, I am not sure if it is according to standards. Rooms are too small to be able to move around, there is no place where to keep a suite case other than under the bed. Instead of a real bathroom, there is a sink in the room, a separate shower and toilet. Even the sheets where not clean, they actually smelled so bad; and the service were extremely poor. I wondered if the people running the place had any training at running a hotel. They do not seem have the basics skills a guest would expect from a hotel staff. Throughout the years, I made many trips to Paris and stayed in different hotels from 1, 2, 3, or 4 stars, this is the worse hotel I ever experienced.
Good sized clean room. Friendly staff.
When had a shower the whole bathroom floor would get wet as shower isn't separate.
Very nice stuff, very good location - plenty of possibilities to eat and to shop.
The price was good for a hotel with this quality
When I got back to my room at the end of the day I found out the cleaners didnt close the door after cleaning so the door had been open all day. The reception did not really respond to my complaint about this. They said I should not worry about. They did not apologies
If you are interested in the area of Corvisart, this hotel is perfect choice. It's really clean, the staff is very friendly and I believe is value for money.
The only bad thing was that although the view from the 6th was awesome, the room was very small.
Good location, clean room, friendly stuff
Rooms on ground floor were noisy. Room was overheated and heating couldn't be turned off. Internet connection provided valid only for one device.
Room size was really good compared to my previous experience in Paris.
Proximity to metro Quietness at night Food options Shower
Lovely breakfast and excellent, quiet location
Everything was great
Very friendly and helpful staff Modern and stylish room Excellent shower Toiletries provided Very nice neighbourhood (restaurants, supermarket) Close to underground station Quiet street Good breakfast Coffee and tea making facilities
The hotel s very comfortable and the room was very cosy and spotless. The staff were very friendly and nice. The location is great as it's in a very nice street with antique shops and lovely cafeterias and bars. Really very nice!!! I'd go back there.
The heater was off and I felt a bit cold but I didn't ask to turn it on. Maybe my fault. The hotel s quite expensive for the price they charge per room.
the comfort of the bed. Excellent. Really necessary when you are working long hours. Great places to eat very nearby. Staff were polite.
there was a horrible smell of mould in the bathroom which came through to the room - all the time. wifi wasn't consistent. annoying if you need to work/stay in touch
