The location is the only positive point. No welcome. Hotel is not clean at all. Furniture are old and broken. Shower is disgusting. TV remote not working properly. Upon check out, the invoice was given manually since after more than 15 minutes, the computer program had not finished to launch itself. The receptionist promised to scan and send the invoice once printed the same day but I did not receive anything. Service very poor. |

Nice concierge Very, very low standard, restroom outside room, I had to leave my room at 10 am (in my reservation wrote: 12.00).Generally: it was low standard of cheap hostel. And my room was in other building then main Hotel. |

Staff was always very polite! Location is great! Rate is quite good for Paris. Cleaning left lots to be desired and bathroom is literaly 1.70 X1.70 metres. Not ideal for large people. No elevator. |

Good place, clean for the money They overbooked and send me to another hotel. I had to pay more in the other one for even less quality. When I came back for the other night I was staying they offer to pay the difference by offering me breakfast, which I did not even dare to have. |

It's absolutely smack in the middle of everything to see and do. It's one train/tube stop from Paris Nord so if you take the Eurostar in you're set, and near like 10 other stations so you can get anywhere. You can walk to virtually every attraction in Paris... the location is truly amazing for the price. The bathroom was clean, the shower worked and had good pressure, the guy at the desk was nice, and the room was big enough. If you're someone who stays in chain hotels like Holiday Inn like most Americans, and you have little experience with independently owned hotels outside North America, then you'll have a problem. But if you're a seasoned traveller you'll know that buildings in Europe, particularly in the middle of cities, tend to be old (duh). The location was fantastic, and okay, it was a bit older, but it was clean, the shower worked, and the water was hot. I think the negative reviews were written by people who don't travel much and don't understand what accomodations are like outside of the US. If you're on your first trip outside the US, be quiet and stay in a US-owned chain hotel. If you know what to expect, it's a great deal. |

We picked this hotel as it was within our meagre budget and exceedingly local. Within 10 minutes' walk you can get to 3 Metro stations (including Chatelet, the busiest station on the network with access to rer lines), The Louvre, Notre Dame, Tour St Jacques, Pompidou Centre, restaurants & bars in the Les Halles area, Ile St Louis, Palais Royale, Hotel de Ville and more. It was great being able to stay out late and not have to worry about getting home. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The bathroom was tiny! Really small. A lack of double glazing meant there was a lot of noise late into the night on the weekend, and also in the mornings with binmen and construction/road works, despite being on the 4th floor. There was no lift and the trek up 8 flights of narrow wooden stairs was exhausting, even when not carrying luggage. No help was offered with the luggage either. The room was not clean. There was a copious amount of dust in the corners, behind/beside the bed etc. Upon arrival, the bin in the bathroom was full of someone else's rubbish. The staff did however remedy this as soon as told. The sink in the bathroom drained slowly & the plug didn't work. One of the light switches was broken but was still operable. |

The worst Hotel ever been.Everything was very dirty,the blankets and bedsheets was grubby.The bathroom was uncleaned and it had an odious smell.Very noise inside the hotel.There are 4 floors and no elevator.We left hotel the same day.No recommented Hotel. |

The hotel is located in a central location 5 min walk to Louvre and 15 min to Notre Dame.if you want a hotel just to sleep this one is ok,but if you'll spend more time in a hotel room it's not ideal.if you go on weekends parking is free on the street,or a garage is available nearby for 15 €. Rooms are very small like all other hotels' but clean. Reception doesn't speak english, no elevator, a bad smell in the bathroom, size of the room. |

Liked: the friendly staff; the location to City Attractions; the price was considered too high for quailty, but not cruical to my decision. Disliked: too many to mention, but the main things were... Thin walls [no sleep before 1am due to neighbours noise and inconsideration of any other people sleeping]; musty smelling bathroom where your kness hit the wall when you sat down; wobbly table; window that would not close firmly [and with mosquitoes trying to get in!!!]; wardrobe door jammed open ...and more.... |

Excellent position, right in the heart of the city and close to most of the attractions in Paris. They don't have an elevator, so might be s small problem for elders going up to the 5th floor! |

The location of the hotel was central - walking distance to Notre Dame Cathedral and the Louvre. The Rue Saint Honore was fairly noisy at night. The hotel itself was a complete disappointment. The first room we were given was just a box room. Supposedly a double room, the bed was just a little wider than a single bed, and even so it filled the room. There was just enough room to get round the bed to the "bathroom", which was actually just a closet with a shower in. The general upkeep of the room was poor. There was no lift. The thing that really annoyed me was I made the choice of hotel based on the star ratings on the website. I confused these with hotel star ratings (which was perhaps the intention): this hotel had two stars on the website, but in reality had not been awarded any hotel stars. That was misleading. |

near location to louvre museum Everything i did not like, and i list the things: - the staff service (the guy in the night shift was really rude and lack of service) - room was very small, - we asked for a different room, and the guy said he did not have other available, but of course he had, at the end he assigned us other room, but just one floor below and of course dirty, -stairs were with no light, in the night was really dangerous go upstairs, of course was not elevator. - the shower curtain was with mold. - towels were not sufficient - washroom was dirty - you can listen the noise from other rooms, like everybody was in the same room, really annoying - i could not never connect to the internet - i insist, the manner of the guy in the night shift was gross.dont go! |

The helpful staff, the spacious room, the clean toilet, the short distance to the Metro station/shops/diners/cafes/laundrette House-keeping did not change our blankets though we tried to indicate that we needed to change. |

The hotel is in great proximity to all of the major attractions of Paris. Just a short walk from the Louvre and Notre Dame. Being in the centre of Paris helped us get the most of our stay. It was a little cosy. |

The location was excellent, and the price was very reasonable. On the day we checked out, the hotelier let us leave our bags at the hotel until it was time to head to the train station so we got a chance to do a few more things without having to carry our luggage around. The bathroom was tiny (the ceiling was too low to fit at the toilet!) and had mold growing on the walls, and there was no elevator and we were on the 5th floor. |
