Hôtel Albe Saint Michel is in a central location, in the heart of Paris’ Latin Quarter, by the Seine River. It is 5 minutes from Notre Dame Cathedral and the chic Saint-Germain-des-Prés district.
Score from 634 reviews Very good
With a 24-hour front desk and an elevator, this hotel offers accommodations with private bathrooms just a 10 minute walk from the Luxembourg Gardens. It features a garden, a fitness center and a...

Situated in the heart of the Latin Quarter, Familia Hotel is located just 600 metres from Notre Dame Cathedral and a 3-minute walk from Maubert - Mutualité Metro Station (line 10).
Score from 254 reviews Good
This hotel is on Paris’s Left Bank, less than a quarter mile from Notre Dame Cathedral and a 25 minute walk from the Louvre and the Musée d’Orsay museums. Some rooms feature views of the cathedral.
Score from 398 reviews Very good
Close to all that the Notre Dame area has to offer - sights, shopping and cafés.
There was no air conditioning! We were there 11-16 Oct and the weather was fair and in the 60s. We needed some air flow in our room at night. Otherwise it would have been stuffy and unpleasant. We were told to open our window which we had to do, but we were in the front of the hotel with constant motors revving, people talking, brakes squealing, and the sound of Jack hammers next door with a building being renovated. Really? I have never heard of a hotel restricting heat or air due to the time of year.
Lovely staff,excellent location,french decor.
My bed quite hard,tv not working.
Location Reception staff were very friendly
In common with other Paris hotels, very poor value for money
Close to Notre Dame and from there easy to get to other sights. Good places to eat nearby. Staff were really helpful and efficient.
Single room was very small. Corridors small, rooms close together. No tea/coffee making facilities.
The hotel is convenient to everything, yet affordable given Paris prices. The English speaking staff is outstanding and helpful in every way 24-7. They will arrange taxis and assure that any travel needs are met.
The rooms given American standards are small..but given the affordable pricing, certainly met my needs.
Access on foot to Notre Dame area good
Metro access for north/south lines a little more difficult
The location was excellent. The concierge was friendly and helpful and the hotel is definitely quaint. We had stayed at Hotel St Jacques 5 years earlier and had a much larger, more comfortable room.
I found the room quite small and the bathroom very small. The shower was so tiny that my husband couldn't raise both arms at the same time in order to wash his hair. This was our second stay and I found the price this time of 380.00 CDN fairly expensive for the quality/size of the room.
Bed/matress and pillow need to be changed
In the central part. However, it is a nice corner with privacy.

Quaintness and location. Very friendly staff
Location, friendly helpful staff
Everything was just perfect and we look forward to coming back one day.
Location is awesome. Great customer service
Location view from small balcony.
Only one power point, hair dryer was like something from the 1960's
A lovely little hotel in a great location. The rooms are very clean, nicely decorated, well maintained and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to assist guests. Good (free) Wi-Fi connection. The location on the Left Bank could not be better. I will definitely be booking here again.
I am not a fan of the self-closing mechanism on the room doors. Unfortunately, most guests do not understand they don't have to let them slam shut. They CAN be closed quietly. Breakfast is too expensive and that is a shame as I would prefer to have breakfast in the hotel.
Friendly staff and so close to metro and RER stations and Notre Dam. There were also good places to eat very close by.
The ensuite bathroom was a little small and there was some people noise from the street especially at the weekend though traffic was light at night.
the area is not crowded with the shorts and tee shirt American tourists, bless their hearts. It has the feel of a working neighborhood, not a tourist destination as some areas of Paris can be
liked it all
Room was just under the roof, small, with slanted ceiling and a cozy feel. Seemed very clean. There is a pair of almost-floor-to-ceiling French doors opening out onto a tiny balcony, from which I could see the nearby Notre Dame cathedral.
The elevator goes only to the 5th floor; 5th to 6th floor is by (spiral) staircase only. Not a huge problem -- staff were very willing to carry my luggage up that final flight of stairs -- but I wish I had known about it ahead of time.
I actullay loved how the receptionist were very friendly, how the bedroom was spacious and the most importantly the internet service
No minibar neither a mini refrigerator inside the room. No electric heater for the guest if he needs some tea.
Concierge and staff very helpful. We arrived 3 hours early and they had a room ready for us. Their location is perfect...close enough to walk to Notre Dame area or the Pantheon and only 2 blocks from Metro stop, yet not on a terribly busy road so we got great uninterrupted sleep.
I thought the pillows could have been better quality but that is the only complaint I have of the place!
Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Take a deluxe room as there is more space.
The wifi constantly dropping out was frustrating as it meant having to write emails in the lounge area downstairs which is not so convenient. Other than that the place is fantastic
great location and decor
The location was very central being only a short walk from Notre Dame. There were lots of lovely restaurants and cafes in the streets around. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant. Would definitely stay there again.
Toilet a bit small Lift too small (3 people only)
