everything especially - friendly, helpful staff - excellent facilities - wonderful, spacious suite - location - discrete and quiet hotel.
The bar prices were way beyond our budget!
Great service, v friendly staff. Beautiful building.
For the money we paid for the room I would've expected a window! Food and drink in the hotel was very expensive.
The decoration and quality of service.
The breafast buffet , I would like more selecction of food
The room was lovely. The staff were so helpful. We had dinner in the library bar which was more reasonably priced and a great setting.
Lovely friendly and very efficient staff who seemed happy to be doing their job. Very close to the metro station. Spacious rooms. Great deco and breakfast.
Evening menu was too expensive.
From the moment we drove in the garden it was like being in another world. Absolutely wonderful place to stay, beautiful gardens, love the balloon staircase, could have stayed longer.
Evertything is just Perfect! ♡
The location, the building and the interiors are beautiful, providing a classical ambience of French style and sophistication. The staff were always helpful and willing to speak English when one's French failed.
We had a total of 3 rooms, each unique and gorgeous! The Nespresso machine, bottled water, bathroom toiletries and champagne were also very nice! We had breakfast and lunch in the hotel and the food was excellent.
The food was excellent but very expensive. The concierge spent too much time assisting others on the phone, ignoring those standing in front of him. We gave up waiting for him.
Excellent attention to detail by the staff. Great location. Beautiful rooms
The concierge treated us very well and the room was clean and spacious. The result was a positive stay in a beautiful city
We stayed at the Saint James for six days and everything was wonderful. The staff was exceptional, food was great and we experienced two relaxing massages as well. Well done -- great experience!!
Elegance and the multiple concierge who were very cooperative and helpful
Decor...dark grey subway tiles in every bathroom. The ambiance of the hotel is dark grey which makes it hard to see. The breakfast wait staff is inefficient - getting the first pot of coffee takes forever and the milk even longer.
It was amazing! My family were treated so beautifully and the concierge had wonderful suggestions for dinners! The perfect place to stay in Paris!
Well located directly off of the périférique, if you are driving into Paris. Feels like a secret garden in the heart of Paris.
Beautiful hotel and located in a quiet neighborhood, close to the Metro and some major sites
People, service, food, accommodations.
Wifi in our below ground level room was weak and generally unusable.
You are ensconced in luxury It.s fun it.s fabulous
EVERYTHING!!!!! 1. Taittinger champagne!!!! And an Upgrade "WOW" I was so humbled it just added to such a perfect Birthday Weekend at St James 2. Friendly, warm hearted Reception,As an expat Brit living in Switzerland, still my French is not Good, However the English fluent conversation from all staff was perfect! This gave me great comfort immediately, The Staff were/are a CREDIT to ST James They were So Very polite, Discreet, Respectful, charming & the upmost of attentiveness & friendliness 3. The uniform's of the lovely Staff in 'tails' Lady's in figure silhouette robes echoing Chanel style 4. Complimentary bicycle hire( to do next time) 5. Purchase of hotel's signature candle so I may remember the serene scent of our stay at this exquisite luxury hotel 6. The serene , Exotic & originality of Terrace & balloon canopy bar 7. Hot Air Balloon wallpaper adorning the spiral staircase ( you should sell this paper)8. The snug & serene bound book library, 9. The Food, I will never forget the fusion of flavours & textures... Sadly we didn't get to meet Pilou the cat, However a NEXT TIME is for sure, Cannot wait to return!
friendly staff, great location.
No air conditioner, at all. Placed in the basement of the hotel. Overpriced food and drink. Staff wouldn't knock before coming into the room.
Have previously stayed at a number of top hotel chains in Paris, but this boutique hotel has exceeded our expectations by far! Located in a secluded luxury residential area of Paris, yet within a 15-20 minute walk to all the major attractions. Incredible staff (special thanks to the consierge monsieur Pascale). Simple but delicious and well-thought breakfasts, very spacious rooms (upon check-in we were upgraded to a large suite, a nice touch, even though we were first-time visitors). Even when the hotel is full you feel at home, rather than in a busy lobby. Definetly number 1 choice for our next trip.
No swimming pool (but can hardly name it a drawback), but there is a gym and a steam room + massage. Most of sattelite channels were in French (only 2-3 English-language channels, which was upsetting for the kid), but again, hardly a drawback given the overall service and feeling.
The most luxurious hotel set in lovely grounds that is also conveniently located which we have ever stayed at. The hotel is simply stunning. The staff were superb.
Great location, the ambiance in the hotel is incredibly elegant and erudite. All the staff had been professional and helpful during our stay, will definitely want to return!
Nothing to complain about!
Stay here everytime when were in Paris. This hotel is a one of a kind. Beautiful castle in a good area of Paris walking distance to the Champs. Parking is free. Dogs are alowed.
Breakfast is extremely expensive
We didn't go to Paris but the questions answered were based on what I do know. Jérémy at the front desk was very nice and helpful as were concierge staff. My passport wasn't valid for three months after the date of return so Air France didn't let us on the plane. My passport expired in two and a half months. Could have and would have easily got a new one but I didn't know this. Air France doesn't tell you except that you need a valid passport and I thought I did. Any way I loved the French and their kindness and understanding with this issue. Merci beaucoup!
