This Mercure has an indoor pool, a spa and health club, set in a mountainside garden in the Pyrenees. It is in the thermal and ski resort of Saint-Lary-Soulan. They got very confused about whether I was on half- board or not. Despite having emailed me that I was on halfboard, after 3 days they siad that there was a mistake and I was on room only!

Helpful reception staff, fair sized comfortable room with a balcony, free safe for valuables in room. Easy free public car parking next to hotel. Free wi fi but some internet facilities were blocked. We overlooked the large public carpark but there were fine mountain views beyond it. Just a few minutes walk into the town centre. No welcome tray. No information on the cost of breakfast. We were charged for breakfasts and car parking, that we didn't have, on checkout - other reviewers have noted the same - be aware!!

Mercure est le top de Saint Lary pour le ski en famille. Confort, emplacement excellent à 50 m de la nouvelle télécabine Vignec, location du matériel dans le magasin à côté, proximité du centre de Saint Lary si on veut sortir et restaurant le soir si on est fatigué et préfère ne pas bouger (sortir avec les enfants le soir peut être délicat). Les enfants ont adoré Rio, les piscines payantes avec accès direct dans l'hôtel, que moi je trouvais juste très bruyantes et fatiguantes. Le restaurant est très bon et les espaces communes sympas. Excellente option pour une famille avec enfants. Séjour pendant les vacances scolaires et certaines personnes du personnel n'était pas du coin.... regard vide quand je demande à quelle heure la télécabine à 50 m ferme le soir.... idem pour la plupart de mes questions sur les environs.... dommage car sinon ils étaient très sympas. L'hôtel est tellement sympa qu'on risque de ne pas découvrir le charmant village de Saint Lary, tant on est bien à l'hôtel....

La proximité du télécabine et l'accès direct au Spa. Je n'ai pas vu les 4 étoiles... Serviçe au restaurant moyen (pas de couverts à poisson, peu d'explications sur les plats...), mobilier, déco... un peu vieillissants.

Le nouvel espace comprenant l'accueil, le bar, etc... Très belle déco. Le passage entre l'hotel et le centre thermal aurai besoin d'un rafraichissement... Nous avons l'impression d'être dans les coulisses de l'hotel. Cependant bien pratique de partir de la chambre directement en peignoir.

Me ha gustado la ubicación dentro del pueblo y que tiene un gran parking al lado del hotel.El personal del hotel muy atento y tiene unas buenas instalaciones. El desayuno me parece un poco caro.

Très agréable séjour pour une remise en forme : la piscine d'eau thermale en fin de journée après de belles ballades en montagne a été particulièrement appréciée... Le petit déjeuner est très bien..Le personnel fait son possible pour vous rendre service..Une dégustation de vins Mercure a été organisée de façon très conviviale ..La ville de Saint Lary est très animée : nombreux commerces, restaurants, activités culturelles (Avons pu assister à un beau concert d'orgue et flûte à l'église..). Le paysage alentour est très accessible. La haute montagne est à 20 kms. Resté une semaine qui est passée trop vite !..

Precioso y muy confortable. Típico Frances. Su jardín y piscina son muy bonitos. El personal muy amable y varias personas hablan español. Desayuno muy cuidado, menus por el dia y noche, para probar los mas típico. La carne de vaca es excelente. Todo perfecto salvo el tema de los copas después de la cena, los barman franceses deben aprender mucho del nivel de los barman de España (hielos, cantidades y combinados) y bebidas básicas
