In a typical and quiet little street, looking out on the Seine and facing Notre-Dame Cathedral, stands the Hotel De Notre Dame, your next Paris residence. Guestrooms are elegant, cozy and refined.
Score from 304 reviews Very good 8/10
In central Paris, this hotel is just half a mile from Gare du Nord and 165 yards from Bonne Nouvelle Metro Station, which leads to many tourist attractions.

The Hotel de Lutèce, in a beautiful 17th-century building, is on the Ile Saint-Louis, just a 10 minute walk from the Panthéon and the Georges Pompidou Centre.
Score from 128 reviews Very good 8.5/10
Quiet room (after the day's business was done), the hotel is located in a delightful city centre street bustling with life. My worry about noise late in the evening was unfounded, it was a quiet street. Very comfortable beds. Lots of hot water.
Room 303 was just a bit too small not to trip over my luggage. That is true for almost every hotel in which I have stayed in Paris.
The property is an elegant retreat from the crowds and staffed by extremely helpful folks. The location is as central as you can get, and the rooms are an ideal combination of old, new and ample space.
Clean, comfortable rooms. Newly renovated shower and bathroom.
The location of this hotel was great as I was traveling solo and I was able to walk to many sights and enjoy Paris from my window. The staff was helpful and kind in helping me find the right public transportation.
If other guests are noisy, the sounds carries easily.
The Isle St Louis is a great location from which to see Paris, both beautiful and congenial.
Good location, The hotel staff was very helpful.
Lack of complimentary toiletries.
Excellent central location. Rustic decor with stone floors and exposed wooden beams. Fully equipped room and functioning wifi.
I paid for breakfast but do not think it was good value at €13. I would recommend going to any of the cafes nearby.
The best things about this hotel are the truly excellent staff, who are attentive, professional, and kind, and the location, which is amoung the best locations in Paris.
The breakfast buffet was good but not great. A little more selection, and even something as simple as a small steam tray with scrambled eggs and bacon, and some larger selection of fruit, and larger selection of jam, would have made it great. A refresh of the food, more often, such as restocking the yogurt, making more coffee when the pot is running low, and refilling the baskets with pastry and bread when running low, would be nice. The staff quickly found whatever the people in the room asked for, but it would be nice to keep it stocked.
I stayed at Hotel Saint-Louis en L'Isle with my teenage daughter. The location was excellent, character filled and quintessentially Parisienne with relatively easy access to transport, shops and sights. The staff were helpful and accomodating of our requests. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.
No English TV channels
The hotel is quaint and very clean, the location simply cannot be beat (300m/1000ft from the Chancel of Notre Dame) The avenue that the hotel opens onto is one of our favorites in all of Paris. This is the place to stay if you are looking for something close to Ile de la Cite. Simply wonderful!
Leaving. It's a bummer that stays at wonderful places like this are limited.
Location, decoration and cleanliness.
I was a bit disappointed on my second visit to this hotel because, being such a small business, I thought they would be more welcoming of a returning visitor, or at least aknowledge that I'd been there before. Not only this didn't happen, but I also got a smaller room than in the first time. Pity. Otherwise the hotel is very cute.
Location is great Very ancient boutiques & Coffee shops all over saint Louis.
Room is tiny No sound proof
It's too cold in the room
Location is very good Rooms are very nice decorated Very quiet
It's ok to bring dogs. We also informed the hotel that we took are dogs with us. When we arrived the receptionist told us that only small dogs were allowed.
The location is unbeatable. steps from Notre Dame, yet in a quiet residential neighborhood near some wonderful restaurants and shops.
The room was small, but given the location and price, it's hard to imagine a better value.
Nice little rooms in a quaint old building. The rooms seem like they are better taken care of than last time I visited a few years ago - clean and in good repair. Location and ambiance is fantastic. Attentive service from friendly staff.
The room is a little tight but what can you expect in Saint Louis? And Paris doesn't leave much time to spend in the room ;o) I did not see an elevator.
The location is perfect. Central for walking everywhere, quiet with great restaurants.
location is great; short walk to saint paul metro. Even on the second floor, it is quiet. Staff went out their way to help me with reservations, directions, etc. And I don't speak the language. Good experience. Easy access to RER to CDG.
a little more effort into the breakfast.
Charm & location
Tiny room, no common lounge area, poor maintenance (globes our & soap dish missing from shower). Lift does not correlate to floors (in between floors). No offer of assistance with baggage, room rates dearer by booking online.
Location and Staff
Room far too small and lack of cupboard space
Brilliant position on the charming Isle St Louis within easy walking distance of Notre Dame, the Marais, many excellent museums and restaurants and many other tourist attractions. Very helpful staff. Comfortable room with good bathroom. Allan, London
Excellent location Cosy hotel Staff helpfulness Tidy and confortable room
Room was very cosy but tiny - but that is Paris
The hotel is beautiful, very Parisian and in the most romantic, lovely spot in Paris. Would stay there again whenever we return to Paris. Staff were incredibly welcoming
The room was relatively small but no smaller than expected for Paris and you pay a lot for the location, but I think it's worth it in my opinion.
The staff members were pleasant and helpful. The bedroom and bathroom were clean. The hotel was in a very pleasant street and close to bars, restaurants and shops. The area was kept clean by efficient street cleaners. Although the area was fairly busy, it was quiet and safe, close to the metro and river bus.
Although we liked the breakfast it was just adequate and quite ordinary (comparable to an IBIS hotel breakfast). It would have been nice to have a choice of a hot breakfast maybe smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, porridge or, ham and eggs.
