They kept our luggage and gave us ideas for restaurants. This is an outstanding location.
The bathroom was beautiful but we had to go down steep stairs to reach it.
Room 401 very cosy.
The staff is very nice. The room is clean and good atmosphere. Location is very good.
Drain empties slowly.
Quiet but convenient location
TV didn’t work Wifi didn’t work Bathroom was down a narrow steep flight of stairs from room- would have helped if we had known this in advance as my husband was recovering from a hip operation and stairs v difficult
The bathroom was much larger than most with a big shower. The room had a new modern AC which we never used .
Shower drain was too slow to drain. The door key lock was hard to figure out and out of date.
Staff were very welcoming and upgraded our room on arrival. Location is excellent and 24 hour desk makes coming and going easy.
A little pricey for what it is.
Staff were fantastic, did everything they could to help make our stay enjoyable. Very clean and well looked after rooms.
The bathroom was great the room was a little tight with four people but the big bathroom made it work. The hotel was in a great location with good restaurants within walking distance. The subway, bus and train were all really close and the staff was great. I would definitely return :)
The air conditioner was a little noisy.
Location. That's it.
Street level since kids weren't welcomed upstairs. We could hear every guest coming and going through the front door as the room we had was right next to the reception. The bathroom was really smelly (that was a tough one). Way too small to accommodate four guests, even with younger children.
Nice and romantic hotel. Perfect location. Pleasent staff.
Friendly staff and very comfortable room with excellent restaurant just across the street! Alex was especially helpful. Thank you Alex
The hotel was like no other we've stayed in. It felt quite exclusive, but remained cosy and friendly. It didn't have that stale hotel atmosphere of larger places; it actually felt like a very comfortable home - without being at all B&B like. The bed was wonderful - finally a room that is pleasant to be in. I slept better, and for longer, than at home. Back soon!
On our arrival we were met by a very friendly staff member, who showed us our options for our triple booked room. We chose to stay in 2 separate rooms in the hotel and the standards of these rooms were excellent. We wished we could have stayed longer, but we will have to book another trip. Location for exploring Le Marais was perfect. Special thanks to FARAH, she was of great assistance. Thank yo FARAH, we wish you well.
Absolutely NOTHING. We loved it all!! Especially the decor, & the bedding was very comfortable. Well done.
Nice breakfast Beautiful bathroom Comfortable bed
The part time employee was not very helpful Small elevator
Excellent location on a quiet street in a great neighbourhood. Metro stations, Seine, bakeries, bistros, restaurants in close proximity. Beautifully renovated. Clean rooms, comfortable bed. Very friendly staff. Instead of quadruple room we got two double rooms on the third floor for no additional charge. We would definitely like to stay there again. Note that current Google street view does not show up-to-date information, so don't be deterred by what you see there.
When booking a quadruple room on booking.com, pictures seem to show the top floor room only. There is also a quadruple ground floor room next to the reception area.
good location in the marais close to metro Bastille. Very comfortable room with airco, very good shower. Staff very welcoming and helpful.
Sylvain was a wonderful "host" of the hotel and could not have been nicer. The decor felt old-world luxurious, and the location was perfect.
We didn't mind the small room, in part because the bathroom was large enough to leave one of our suitcases! But the walls and doors are very thin and we could hear the people next to us. Also, our "double" bed was actually two singles pushed together that were sagging in the middle.
Excellent location close to the river, main attractions and restaurants. Quiet at night as it isn't on a busy main street. Easy access to the Metro, which is so cheap and easy to use, not to mention musical!
Number one plus: Excellent location in Marais near metro and walking distance to Notre Dame. Family-friendly area with parks and playgrounds. Other pluses: Good access to restaurants and food markets in Bastille and close to Ile St-Louis. The boulangerie across the street was fun to go to for morning breakfast. Quiet street. Clean room. Excellent servicing of room each day. Great prices on the snack and soda mini-bar -- cheaper than the market. Shower always had hot water with excellent water pressure. Air conditioning worked like a champ. Use of a hotel-provided iPad for no extra charge was very nice.
The breakfast buffet price was steep at 13 euros per person, but the solution was the boulangerie across the street for a morning pastry for 2 to 3 euros. Part of our room had a low ceiling on the top floor due to sloping roof. This was a negative, but easy to work around. Great having Wi-Fi in the room, but it was a bit slow.
Location. We were in a room full of character at very top of hotel the access to which involved lift to third floor and winding spiral staircase to fourth. this added to charm.
Good location next to St Louis Island with good restaurants and very nice shops. Staff were very nice and fluent in English. Very clean and updated.
We had a room for three people, which ended up being two twins pushed together and a pullout sofa bed (Room 10). The bathroom looked great but it was a poorly designed handicap room. Everytime we took a shower the entire bathroom floor had an inch of water. They gave us a squeegee to get rid of the water - which you had to do so you weren't wading in water after ther shower. Also no storage for clothes except one tiny closet.
Excellent location, friendly helpful staff. Clean, comfortable room.
God location and Parisian feel.
The location was great. The bakery and cafe nearby were awesome.
I booked a quadruple room thinking it was on the top floor and even confirmed with your staff that it was. We were instead put in a street level room that was extremely loud, no privacy due to people walking by. The worst part was the bathroom floor flooded every time we used the shower. It was the room for handicapped people so there was not enough slope on the floor so the "open shower" water literally pooled under the toilet. I asked to be moved and they said there was no other quad available and it was the room I ordered. The air conditioning made loud intermittent noise even when turned off and the fridge stopped working so our yogurt and Brie cheese went bad. I had to ask for a sqeegy to mop the bathroom floor after every shower. When I complained further the night staff gal offered us free breakfast for 2 days which was more than the day staff did. I should have asked for money off the room but was exhausted by the whole thing. They need to disclose the room would be on bottom level so the customer is aware; I never would have booked the room otherwise. The day staff was aware of the flooding saying "it's because it can't have a slope for wheelchairs". Seemed downright bad business to continue letting it happen. Nevertheless we loved our time in Paris despite this crap room. Also the double bed was an uncomfortable couch pullout.
