the room is very crowd，the sheets feel very dirty。
Clean and warm; good location; very helpful and friendly staff. Overall, our stay was good.
Beware: A twin bed is nothing of the sort. I was travelling with my sister and had checked they had a room with twin beds. On arrival, the room had what was essentially a double bed. Yes, there were two mattresses, made up separately -- but they were pushed right together. There was very little extra room to separate them, but the staff managed by moving a bedside cabinet into a position where it couldn't be moved.
Great location , friendly staff, great old typical renovated building
We stayed there last week of February and there were scaffoldings outside and no window view. But they offered complimentary breakfast !
Location, bathroom, bed, free wifi that doesn't require re-login everytime you leave the premises
On my first attempt to book the room through their website I didn't get any response. It only worked through Booking.com
The place is small, but warm and inviting and has a great Parisian character. It is conveniently located in a calm side-street in Marais, walking distance to Gare de Lyon.
The small hotel has one desk attendant / concierge who was rarely at his post - easily distracted by a cigarette break or a video call with his friends.
Neighborhood, good hotel standard
Carpet on bed (no duvet), breakfast looked average
Location Friendly staff 24/7 Clean and nice room Large and new bathroom (especially for Paris standards!) Looks like the whole interior from the hotel has recently been renovated
Not really disturbing but at the moment the hotel is being renovated from outside also (we knew before booking). Probably ready soon and then it is really a great hotel!
Ordered superior double deffinatly was no bigger than a normal double room, smelly drain in toilets
Loved the bath room
The room could be bigger
- Decoration of the room & bathroom. - Stuff very helpful and friendly. - Location. - Cleanness. - Breakfast. - Good car parking option with reasonable price. - Free coffee and tea at the room. Many thanks for your hospitality and kindness...
Hard to find any - AC makes a bit of noise (in our room) even when its switched off.
Day receptionist speaks good english and was most helpful
A client trying handle of my door 3.22 am woke me up not happy.
They have done a wonderful restoration to the hotel and the rooms & baths are very charming. Staff 24 hours, very friendly, pet friendly also.
I don't prefer a firm mattress with down pillows. Some might. Downstairs "family" or quad room had a smell from bathroom drainage.
Rooms on small size but better than most others at the price, & well appointed. Bathroom decor beautiful & a huge shower. Quiet but really handy for Place des Vosges & the Marais shops.
Wifi speed slow. There are better breakfast options just 5 mins walk away.
Comfy bed and excellent toilet
Personnel was not very friendly, and although location is central, prices are high for a hotel.which is renovating the whole building (blocking the windows) and did not even mention that or lowering their prices because of that.
Metro just at the end of the street and, therefore, all areas readily accessible. Very quiet street but with main avenues and shops nearby. Excellent wi-fi that required one simple log-in for the whole stay.
Breakfast facilities are limited.
Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, nice interieur
Constrcution works (Nov. 2014), poor breakfast
Great location (quiet but just a few steps to the Metro and the River Seine, the Isle de Saint Louis). Rooms – and the whole hotel – are nice, charming and clean. The staff are helpful and very kind. There are plenty of good restaurants and bistros in Marais, I could recommend the Le Temps des Cerises, just 20 meters from the hotel. As you can see the reviews, the travellers, who had a room in the annex, give significantly lower rates. I don’t know this part - the annex - but the hotel main part is highly recommended.
This boutique hotel was just lovely. Travertine marble and tiles everywhere and magnificent ceiling beams. The bathroom and shower were both huge and elegant and the staff lovely. Location excellent - short walk south to the Seine or north to St Paul's shops and restaurants and the whole area around Bastille.
Breakfast was too expensive when you can go to a cafe so easily for a lot less. The outside was undergoing renovations so the view was into shrouded scaffolding but I'm sure that will be gone soon.
Shower was nice.
The shower was incredible! I could have stayed in there for days! The huge, newly renovated bathroom was one of the highlights of our stay, as well as the cozy decor and tasty breakfast. The staff were all quite friendly, and the location is perfect...a quiet side street just steps away from the metro and mere minutes from the heart of Paris.
The bedroom was a little small.
high standard renovation
no swimming pool!!!
We chose the hotel for it's location and because the rooms looked well appointed. We needed a triple room and they had triple rooms on the top floor. I made a special request for a nice view as my kids had never been to Paris before.
Our room was in an annexe, 100m further along the road, through a blank steel door with no sign. We entered into a narrow corridor with two doors off of it. Our room was to the left, on street level, which was the first shock. The double bed was adjacent to the window and it was possible to sit on the bed and touch the window. The pavement was 2m from where we slept. The subterranean bathroom was down 17 stone steps and although modern, the shower didn't drain. I complained and was told that I had booked a "normal" triple rather than the top floor. The website didn't define a 'normal' triple room. I've never come across a city hotel room right on the pavement. Huge disappointment and not cheap. I can't comment on the rest of the hotel as we couldn't wait to get out. We moved the next morning.
the staff was friendly and helpful.
since we needed a room that would fit the two kids with us we got the ground floor room. our shower was just a hole in the floor with a mop for us to push the water in. when we arrived there was a towel covering the shower hole. we thought it was a floor mat. no one told us if we uncovered the hole we would smell sewage all night. The internet photos were misleading.
Location, decoration, quiet street and bathroom is specially nice niece
