Great location close to shopping, restaurants, transport. Tasteful decor of rooms without being pretentious. Helpful staff. Will definitely book again next year. |

The hotel was very well situated for visiting Marseille as a tourist. The bed was very comfortable. |

The first impression is definitely not comfort and cleanliness when you enter the room. Everything seems so old, including door, wallpaper, desk, lamp, and so on. Especailly the lamps, more than one lamp does not work. One of my travelling companions have lots of red spots over her body, arms, and even face, after the night of sleeping in this hotel. It seems to be bitten by certain insect living in the room. |

Staff very pleasant. Location and room good. Comfortable and convenient.Good restaurants and bars nearby. Silly little maintenance problems really let the place down. Nice room but no handles on furniture and screws sticking out. shower had to be hand held as no hook to hang it on etc. |

It was central, 24 hour reception. Breakfast was a bit basic, but good value compared to local prices. Could do with a bit of TLC, hallways and rooms need some maintenance. Housekeeping was a bit eratic, towels not always replaced, shampoo not replaced. |

location was ideal, rooms were comfortable, the noise from outside was awful and continued throughout the night, ie: drunken revellers, traffic, police sirens etc. maybe we were just unlucky on this occasion? |

The location was the best aspect. The room was very small and out of date, a lot of building work going on outside bedroom window but not during the night or early in the morning, it was more unsightly than noisey. |

Central to transport and shops Price quoted was less than price paid at end of stay. Furniture very delapatated (knobs missing off of drawers, no sink plug, floor tiles loose, light bulbs not working and some missing, mould around the shower cubicle, towels unchanged when left out, had to make own bed. |

Position in relation to easy walking distance to Old Port and other attractions. As we stayed only 2 nights value for money. Thought breakfast was a little pricey for what was offered. |

The hotel was pretty much central to all the tourist attractions and right next to the port. We arrived at the hotel at 1am, the night porter was slightly hostile and not at all helpful when we asked about breakfast. |

Very central - 5 minute to the port, very clean, welcoming personnel, simple but comfortable room, big bathroom! I'd say very good and comfortable for a 2-star hotel. |

Very friendly, enthusiastic, helpful staff. Terribly dilapidated, in an intimidating and unsafe area of the city, broken tiles on bedroom floor, shared balcony, shutters that did not close, non-existant security features, noise pollution. |

The hotel is nearby the old port and it's an excellent place to start the day from beach or shopping or sightseeing. It's great also to go out in the evenings and walk near the port. |

Price, location (near old port). Location (scary and dirty neighborhood with many immigrants), reservation at first floor, so you have to carry your luggage there to take the elevator, needs some renovation. |

Great location near the old port, reasonable price. A lovely touch was the ipod docking station, which I didn't expect for the price of the room. We had a room with a balcony & we bought breakfast from the supermarket across the street- a great budget option. |

The hotel staff was polite and nice, esp. the young lady. The location of the hotel was quite ok, near the shopping streets and vieux port. The rooms were dirty, but not any dirtier than outside the hotel. |

It was a fair distance from the train station and the old port. The staff was friendly and our room was nice. Our shower curtain was covered in mold |

The location. The cleanliness was very poor, we could see the dust collected in the corners, the ashtrays on the verandas were never cleaned, there was an old hose hanging on the railing. The flush was leaking and the second day it stopped working all together and they did not even bother to fix it. Breakfast was poor, though they charged for it. One day they would have banana , another they would not have eggs and so on and o forth. They internet service was interrupted because one of the employees had to take the monitor elsewhere. It seemed to me that they were preparing for the closure of the hotel. |
