This 18th-century stone building is located across from the Vieux Port, in central Marseilles. It offers panoramic harbor views and rooms with free Wi-Fi and flat-screen satellite TVs.
Score from 627 reviews Good
In the heart of Marseille, the ibis Budget Marseille Vieux Port has a 14th-Century façade and a cocktail bar. The harbor is just a 3-minute walk away and the train station is a 25-minute walk away.

Seven Urban Suites Prado is a hotel in Marseille, just 215 yards from Périer Metro Station, which leads directly to the center of Marseille, The European and Mediterranean Civilisations Museum...

The bed was excellent- very comfortable, furthermore, since it was a rainy weekend, we really did enjoy long and peaceful sleep. The breakfast was good enough- fresh croissants, a chance to make yourself freshly squeezed orange juice, scrambled eggs, jams, tea, coffee, three kinds of cheese etc. Maybe 10 euro is a little too much, at the same time, it is so nice to wake up and have a breakfast at the hotel. To add, breakfast time is till 11, so it is a good choice even for the ones who love to sleep a little longer. The hotel is very charming and despite the fact that there are construction works outside, you can hardly hear anything. The stuff is very welcoming and helpful. Oh, and the shower is great as well! Location is very convenient, you can get anywhere from there. Will stay here again. Definitely.
Marseille itself is not the cleanest place on earth, especially the district around the hotel (saw 12 rats in one place during the night). But as locals said- 10 rats per 1 person is usual haha https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mN1f1CCZRHE
Great value for money. Extremely charming room with balcony and great bathroom. Good location in a lively area close to the port. Good quality and rich variety of food. Room was clean.
No service during breakfast - used dishes were not removed. This is a pity and affected the overall impression. Obviously in need of more staff, at least in the mornings.
The hotel looked great! I liked our room, the breakfast room, the hallways, even the toilet next to the reception. The staff was friendly and breakfast was good.
The wifi connection in our room was very poor. The croissants and pain au chocolat served at breakfast were made with sweet dough and not crispy. All the other things at breakfast were good and tasty, so I hope the hotel will change the bakery to provide the guests with a perfect breakfast!
Promise was kept
We are used to other level of hotels (with bathrobes, slippers etc). We understood this hotel is good for the money we paid, but it is us who mis-booked...
Location close to the old port
The hotel is well placed although not spectacular. The staff was friendly. Near public transportation.
There is no elevator till 2nd floor. The area could use some upgrading, though this might take away from its gritty charm.
Great location. Nearby you will find a lot of places to go: good restaraunts which offer fresh fish and seafoods, department stores and walking area. Nice staff at the reception always ready to help in all possible ways. Rooms are clean and well equiped with everything you may need (exept Iron, you will need to as for it at the reception desk). I had a room with the balcony. If you like sitting and watching the street life - don't hesitate to ask for a room with the balcony when booking the room.
The only thing I didn't like was the noise caused by workers who are building a new tram line. It's temporary inconvinience, but if you would like not to hear this - ask for the "quiet room" at the reception, they have some.
The location is perfect. It`s in the heart of the city. Lovely view from the balcony. The bed was with a drapes like in a fairy tale - very charming. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We`ll come back.
Hotel is really nice located. Easy to get to the old port walking area and the main street of city. Staff is really friendly and ready to help. Don't hesitate to ask them before you start to walk and seek for what you need. Rooms are clean with the good interior. Here you can understand that IKEA rules. But rooms are decorated with a very "French style". Looks nice. If you are travelling by car - you will be happy to know that 200 meters away from hotel there is an underground parking. It's not cheap, but there is no chance to park a car in Marsielle.
The staff was the best, very helpful with everything. The room was small but clean and very sweet. I would stay again.
The location was just verging on the bad side, we're older so were in early but would probably worry more in late evening. the hotel made-up for it so it wasn't a problem.
Staff helpful. Excellent range of breakfast food. Books there to read in English.
Reception is at top of a flight of stairs. Lift from then on. But staff carried up our luggage.
Lovely rooms, very close to the centre easy to get out and about to see the sites.
Staff were a little cold
Large room. Nice location to visit the town.
Little messy around the hotel.
Great location, very helpful stuff, nice breakfast
Wi-Fi in the room was slow
Nice staff, comfortable bed, modern bathroom. Location - not far from Vieux Port, near main shopping streets and fascinating immigrant neighbourhood with street stalls almost next door.
Noisy building of new tramway going on just a street away - not the hotel's fault, and the windows were effective to keep the nose to a minimum.
Value for money Excellent central location Friendly and helpful staff
Central location meant street noise audible in front facing bedrooms
Good location; polite staff; clean; bags of character
Very small safe in room
Like the character of the old hotel
Occasional loud noises from outside at all hours of the night
Located a short walk from the train station and the Vieux Port, the location is perfect for first time visitor to Marseille. The helpful staff was quick to smile and help with tips and directions.
Set just behind the head of the marina in the Morroccan quarter. We were there on Bastille night so the whole city was buzzing! Two minutes from the centre it ticked all the boxes for us. Strongly recommend it but note it is slightly tired in its appearance but compensates with great service.
Not much of a view.
Delightful hotel, good value for money. Lovely view from window on 5th floor. Did not have any problems with noise, would definitely go there again.
Very good location with a balcony near the Arab quarter.
The floor is not clean. If you would like a clean floor, find the cleaning lady, clean it yourself, or find another place.
The surrounding streets are dangerous
Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is located 5 minutes from the Vieux Port in a quiet street. Breakfast was delicious and excellent value for money. Would highly recommend this hotel.
The street address is misleading. We were first brought by a taxi to Hotel Saint Louis down the street. That Hotel Saint Louis is an 'Hotel Meublé' which means it's sheltered housing for families. We almost cancelled our booking when we arrived there, luckily we saw our hotel down the street before we had time to cancel the booking. The fact that both hotels have the same name is confusing.
Within the budget and have a fine place to live in. Everything is acceptable, especially the location, easy to find and easy to go anywhere you want.
