The staff were great. Friendly and helpful and spoke good English. The location was close to the sights in the middle of Paris, an easy walk to Notre Dame and the Louvre. No parking at the hotel but there was a multi storey just 2 minutes walk away and there's a discount for hotel guests
We weren't warned there was building work going on. The ground floor is a building site. Stairways are dark steep and narrow and the room was much smaller than expected with no wardrobe or drawer space for clothes
Beautiful lights but not practical at all.
When we ask about wifi the receptionist said she don't know wifi. She should know everything. Then when the other receptionist come, we said the wifi signal is weak and he was very rude and say we only stay one night and it is too late to fix it. Not even say sorry. Not value for money at all. Slanting floor will give u motion sickness. No toilet paper holder, they just put the toilet paper on the dusbin lid. No lift and small stairs if u are planning to go shopping avoid this hotel at all
Hotel was small, what was shown on Booking, com isn't what she get, plus hotel is under refurbishment and building work, which wasn't mentioned in website. Next room noise can be heard quite easily and clearly. We only stay one night, if we booked longer, then I would have left early.
location close to restaurants and shops
under construction, not good access or egress specially with young kids, very small family room and toilet. Day time construction work noise in the room.
The hotel is being renovated. And it will probably go for a long time. Constant noise. The staff is not friendly. Password for free WIFI gave only the next day and then after an urgent request. The room is very cold floors, so you need slippers.
The mess of the renovation at the front entrance was extremely inconvenient. There wasn't any hotel name signage at the entrance, make it difficult to locate. The stairs is so narrow. The room is small.
If you're in Paris for touristy activities then the hotel is in a great location.
Not used to such small sized rooms. Booked a triple room but was amazed how tiny it was.
the wifi works better than many 5 stars hotel! safe and conviniente erea, a lot of resturants near by..
the room is really small, in a very old building, no elevator.
Small room and even smaller toilete
Good room and nice bed, modern bathroom and looks like the hotel is pretty new for me, nice cleaning service and good location (near metro station)
We got the hostel in a reform so we didnt tried the breakfast and there was no elevator
No freakin elevator and they gave us the topmost floor
Location was good. Towels were changed daily. The staff was nice.
The bed and pillows were very hard had difficulty sleeping. The sheets were not changed daily. Had to carry bags up the stairs, no elevator. There was construction taking place so that was a bit of challenge. The room was small no table or desk.
No telephone connection to the room, the room at 3rd floor had only escape stairs connected by.
Value for money, ideal for young people who are out all the day and just need warm hotel room. The room had everything we needed, it was clean and nice.
When we came for check in, the reception guy has left us alone waiting for a few minutes without saying why. It was a bit noisy - you could hear other people passing by the room and also the refurbishing works carried out.
Close to metro stop (100m), very good "Bagel" restaurant nearby. Modern rooms.
Bottom floor of the hotel is entirely under construction that can be heard throughout from 9am. Location is right next to a Primary School with kids screaming. Stairs of hotel is like walking up the tower of Pisa -- extremely slanted!! Would not recommend for elderly people.
Location was central enough to have accessibility to many amenities. Within walking distance to a few attractions.
Sofa bed was uncomfortably hard.
Group of 5 lads, ideal location just off a street with plenty of bars and restaurants. Hotel is value for money, comfy rooms and clean bathroom. We stayed in December and the ground floor was being renovated but ignore that as it wasn't a problem at all. No noise was heard in our room. We went to Paris to go and watch the rugby not for a romantic weekend so if you are looking for a cheap place with good location that provides just somewhere to sleep this is an ideal hotel. Would recommend.
Receptionist was lovely and helpful with good English. Location central to everything, small but nice room.
renovations happening we didn't realise so facilities were very limited, could use a shared kitchen area to make a cuppa at least.
Rooms were good
I got room on 3rd floor they dont have lift service, it was very hard for Me to take heavy lugage to my room.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is good.
The rooms are tiny, especially the shower-space is very tiny. The stairs (no elevator) are really shabby. And there's a lot of noise until late in the night.
Location . Not far from central Paris on metro, lots of local bars and places to eat near hotel . Ideal base when all you need is a place to sleep
Not enough bedding a little on cold side !
Location (2nd arrondissement), staff (friendly lady at the reception), clean room, nice beds, good wifi
There is no elevator and we had a room on the top floor (4th floor), which is OK since we are young and were only there for a weekend (light luggage). However, it's not recommended for elder people.
the room was clean and wifi was good. metro station was near
they were renovating when we went there, and it was a terrible noise, we barely could hear while checking-in they didn't have a lift (we probably should have checked when we booked) and very narrow stairs, a pain to go up or down, especially with a luggage they gave us only one key and we had to leave it there when we went out, and this was not very secure/safe since there were workers around the reception the room was very small. we were 3 adults (parents+1 child) and didn't have much place to move we had to ask for 3 pillows, because the ones the beds had were very thin it looked nice on the pictures they have here, but it was not as modern as it seems (we didn't try the breakfast)
Room bad, bed uncomfortable
Location is good for touring, excellent staff, adequate for a short visit if you just plan to sleep there.
Bed only fair, small. No ventilation in bathroom, undergoing active refurbishment, so noisy at daytime, stairway is narrow, winding and hazardous.
