Location was central enough to have accessibility to many amenities. Within walking distance to a few attractions.
Sofa bed was uncomfortably hard.
Group of 5 lads, ideal location just off a street with plenty of bars and restaurants. Hotel is value for money, comfy rooms and clean bathroom. We stayed in December and the ground floor was being renovated but ignore that as it wasn't a problem at all. No noise was heard in our room. We went to Paris to go and watch the rugby not for a romantic weekend so if you are looking for a cheap place with good location that provides just somewhere to sleep this is an ideal hotel. Would recommend.
Receptionist was lovely and helpful with good English. Location central to everything, small but nice room.
renovations happening we didn't realise so facilities were very limited, could use a shared kitchen area to make a cuppa at least.
Rooms were good
I got room on 3rd floor they dont have lift service, it was very hard for Me to take heavy lugage to my room.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is good.
The rooms are tiny, especially the shower-space is very tiny. The stairs (no elevator) are really shabby. And there's a lot of noise until late in the night.
Location . Not far from central Paris on metro, lots of local bars and places to eat near hotel . Ideal base when all you need is a place to sleep
Not enough bedding a little on cold side !
Location (2nd arrondissement), staff (friendly lady at the reception), clean room, nice beds, good wifi
There is no elevator and we had a room on the top floor (4th floor), which is OK since we are young and were only there for a weekend (light luggage). However, it's not recommended for elder people.
the room was clean and wifi was good. metro station was near
they were renovating when we went there, and it was a terrible noise, we barely could hear while checking-in they didn't have a lift (we probably should have checked when we booked) and very narrow stairs, a pain to go up or down, especially with a luggage they gave us only one key and we had to leave it there when we went out, and this was not very secure/safe since there were workers around the reception the room was very small. we were 3 adults (parents+1 child) and didn't have much place to move we had to ask for 3 pillows, because the ones the beds had were very thin it looked nice on the pictures they have here, but it was not as modern as it seems (we didn't try the breakfast)
Room bad, bed uncomfortable
Location is good for touring, excellent staff, adequate for a short visit if you just plan to sleep there.
Bed only fair, small. No ventilation in bathroom, undergoing active refurbishment, so noisy at daytime, stairway is narrow, winding and hazardous.
Location, clean, comfy, mostly quite
Good location, very good wifi, guiet area
The location is easy to find.
The hotel is under a big remodeling and construction. In my opinion is not close to be ready to recieve guest. Maybe in couple of months will be a nice hotel but for now is not. The hotel is not offering breakfast because of the construction. I booked the room for four and looks like is almost ready but is not. I stayed with my family and every time they were taking a shower the water was all over the floor it was like the entire bathroom floor was the floor of the shower. I dried the floor with a towel 4 times during the night and four during the morning.
Walking distance to a lot of touristic attractions, m-station Bonne Nouvelle just a block away. We had one of the top rooms (no 21) on 4th floor for 5 people. Clean, comfortable beds and quiet nights. Nice and friendly staff.
If you have huge and heavy bags rooms on the top floors are not recommended since the staircase is really tight and there is no elevator. A shower curtain wouldn’t hurt so the water don’t end up on the floor, get a bit wet after 4 people showered.
The location is wonderful - right in the centre of Paris. The area is nice too. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Overall it was an excellent experience.
The breakfast isn't great - but it is optional. The halls in the hotel could be a little tidier, particularly around the entrance.
Very nice people in front desk, the room was recently remodeled so we found a really nice hotel with a really nice room.
I don't think the hotel staff fully understood what we said, but they were polite & helpful. Near to Carrefour & Metro.
The narrow stairs leading to the room. Don't try the breakfast, the bread will break your teeth.
The studio is basically the only accomodation that is cost-effective.
Insufficient cleanliness, staff inability to communicate in English, (even though they make efforts to help the guest).
Very handy to lots of restaurants and shops. Metro just around the corner. Our family room was small but modern and clean.
4 flights of windy stairs to our room on the top floor. The novelty wore thin, even with the kids, after the first day. No facilities in the room - phone, hairdryer, tea\coffee making facilities. But I suppose you get what you pay for.
- Good location 1min walk to metro, 15min walk to RER. - Room was clean and tidy (much better than the lobby and staircase). - Good wifi reception at room. - Staff are willing to help. We asked if we can make some tea as there's no kettle at room. The staff heated up water for us immediately and offered us some black tea.
- Lobby had a smell of smoke. - We have to walk up a narrow staircase with our luggage to get to our room, but it's OK to us as our room was in the 1st floor. - Wifi connection is OK but we were logout when our devices were on standby mode. I.e. instant messaging may not be possible.
Very hard bed..and a thin hard pillow. Tiny room. Over priced. Uncomfortable. Our door didn't lock and wasn't fixed when requested.
location was very good.
Hotel under renovation.Breakfast area very basic and breakfast was poor
It was near the tourist spots. Louvre was just a walking distance from the hotel. There were restaurants and grocery stores aroundthe area so don't worry about getting hungry
There were no elevators and we were at the 4th floor. We had to climb a narrow staircase with our luggages with us. When we woke up the next day my friend and I have a few insect bites :(
Given Hand towels instead of Bath towels, 1/2 a roll of toilet paper for a family of 4 for two night stay, shower water won't drain away, flooded room. No sheets on fold out couch.
