Saphir Grenelle  

Hotel très bien situé et bien tenu; personnel aimable. Good location, clean room, friendly staff. Hyvä sijainti, siisti hotelli, ystävällinen henkilökunta.

Insonorisation pas très efficace. Poor soundproofing. Heikko äänieristys.

Arrived on 29th Nov Check-in and was told that the lift is not working..we were like stunned for a min and look at our luggage..2 Hand carry luggage weight 10kg each & a big luggage with 30kg.Staying on 4th floor and worse of all the stairs is damn narrow which can only fit 1 person..WTF!!No Internet access.Not recommended for holiday..

I had to pay directly after intrance the hotel, very noisy,no good/bad working watersystem, very small douch, defect lightning in the room aswell in the stair and hall. My advice: don't go there!

Very well situated, just a few minutes walk from Eiffel tower. The personnel was very helpful.

Having in my mind the expectations and the comments receiving by the most demanding and criticizing tourists in the world (French) when they come in Greece, in terms of hospitality, offerings and ratio price/quality, I was astonished by the poorness of the corresponding services in Paris hotels. However, this hotel is above the average

The location is super - couple of minutes from subway, and about 15-20 minutes to Eiffel Tower and other attractions. The hotel is clean and tidy.

The room is too small, the bed is also not that big. Double room is about 8 sq.m - so it was difficult to find place for two mid-size suitcases. The shower is extremely small. If you going to stay more that one-two nights - consider other options.

I was happy with the hotel we stayed 3 nights, it was very quiet for the centre of Paris and great location for sightseeing. It was better than I thought it would be after reading previous reviews. Owner does speak English we mixed French and English to good effect. Had slight leak in bathroom but it was fixed by the next day. Bed was comfy. Room small but fine.

I always miss a kettle in hotel bedrooms - is it just an English thing to provide this?

The hotel is very close to a metro station in a very inhabited location near clothes shops and very good restaurants (La Gitane et La Gauloise). Hotel's staff is nice (except of one lady at the reception, but we only met her once), breakfast for 8 € is tasty and sufficient. As regards the rooms they are not exactly luxurious and very comfortable but if you're staying there only for a sleep it's perfectly enough. You also have a radiator in the room to heat the space if necessary, fresh towels are available every day. There's also a tv and a phone but I didn't use them.

An extra blanket during the fall-winter season would be nice if you don't want to use the radiator at night...

Only position - near of Eiffel, Metro and Ecole Militaere.

To litlle room, too litle bathrom, without lift.

Not very clean

Bathroom has a very very high electronoc shock. I can't shower. It's worse when I wet. And even though water has that shock!!!! It's sooooooooooooo dangerous. I told the manager, they say all room in this hotel has that electronic problem. ---Saphir Grenelle, are you kidding me? You're sucks!!!!!

I enjoyed my stay at the Saphir Grenelle. The staff were very friendly, and helpful, although my French was limited, and communication was a little hard they were always willing to be of assistance.Easy walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and the metro.

The room was adequate, and clean, although the bathroom was quite small. Good enough because I did not spend much time there.

The front desk help "Ingrid" was very nice and helpful. She always had information and also helped us to pick and plan places to visit. Thank her again!

This hotel should have ac rooms as well. That is the only thing its missing.

Prices was very good, the hotel is located 5 minutea walking from Champs du mars. Rooms was very nice with free wi fi.
