Comfort hotel Orléans Nord - Saran  

We used this hotel as an overnight stop for two adults & two children, on our way from London to South of France. Very accomodating staff, friendly, helpful etc. Room very good indeed for the price, and no extra charge for a cot. Decent buffet breakfast too, we were even offered some croissants for the onward journey. Close to the motorway, made it ideal for our purposes. Would stay again for a pleasant pit-stop.

Finding the hotel is a problem: because it's on a main highway, there's no front entrance for cars. You have to drive through a car park belonging to the shop behind the hotel.

After being moved from the very poor decorated disabled room, to another non disabled room .We gained a better room that had a shower not over a bath as the disabled room had. The 2nd room looked to be newly refitted and was much nicer all round, which after our first room disapointment of the old fly invested room. The 2nd room made me still wish to stay there, as if I had stayed in the disabled room I would not possibly have gone back to the hotel. The young man at the reception was very helpfull and fully understood why we wished to move and gave us a better room.

Our first example was to be given a disabled room in very poor order very old and in need of a full refit, with a low shower. .I am walking disabled so require a low shower tray, but instead there was a high old bath with shower over it with no shower curtain in place, so the floor would have become wet if shower was used. Our first problems was the amount of dead flys on the floor and at least 8 flys in the bathroom, which seems to come from behind the light fitment. We felt that we just could not stay in that room as the flys were buzzing around us, after going back to the reception we were moved to a room with a shower with the normal low tray and the room seemed to be have refitted lately. If we had stayed in the first room, we would not have gone back to this hotel again, due to it's poor order.I Also felt that as I am disable I should not have to have to be put in a room that is so out of date . The first room was 31Disabled and the 2nd room was 37.non disabled but better lower shower I must say the the young gentleman on reception was very helpfull. The hotel is very hard to find even with the details.

Everything was good at the hotel the directions on the website were terrilble the signs in Saran nord for the hotel were bad we asked 2 people where it was no one knew it!! and it was not in the right on my Satnav!!!! it took over anhour from the A71 to find it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For the price the rooms were proper and good. That's also for the food. We're surprised by the kitchen of the hotel. The breakfast was excelent.

We arrived at 10.30pm after a long drive, and the restaurant was supposed to close at 9.30pm, but it was still open!

We booked a disabled room for my daughter who is a wheelchair user. The disabled facilities were useless. There were no grab rails in the bathroom at all. The shower was over a bath that she couldn't use. The bathroom was unsafe for a disabled user.

Staff helpful,polite.room clean and tidy.location good once you find it a bit awkward as it is one exit not well signed off of a busy multi-exit roundabout it is easy to find yourself on the autoroute instead of entering the hotel car park

Pleasant Staff, clean rooms, good restaurant, good price, very satisfied with our overnight stay.

Very comfortable and in a convenient place although not easy to find.

Disappointed that the restaurant closes on a Saturday, hence faciity rating given as 'fair'. Not very east to find.

Dat het absoluut geen probleem was dat onze hond erbij was.Verder was de prijs van het diner en het ontbijt zeer acceptabel.

La réceptionniste était très accueillante, toujours souriante et agréable, très efficace.

Le personnel et le services impeccables recommandables.
