Savoy Hôtel Evian  

View from the baconey was superb - over LakeGeneva- very close to ferry station to Lausanne - also very close to main shopping area and restarants.

There were no coffee/tea making facilites in the room even though site said there were - could have been cleaner - especially shower curtain - - would have been nice to have proper shower and not just shampoo spray on taps.

Sloppy room cleaning: Dead insects on top of the lampshades above bed. After pointing it out twice it was cleaned, but with some of the insect caskets on my pillow. Free wifi did not work.

Fantatic location, great value for money

Location, price was resonable.

The fact that the parking was not very close to the hotel and also they charge us for the parking which they told us it is free of charge, also the room was very small.

The Savoy Hotel Evian was extremely comfortable and with helpful staff. Lovely position right on the lake side with the boat terminal for lake trips almost opposite the hotel. Very central for the town which has a wonderful market on Tuesdays. The hotel does not have its own parking but it is available 5 minutes walk away and is very secure.

I have no complaints but only a suggestion. My husband has walking difficulties and it would have been helpful to have had a ramp which could be placed on the front step when required in order that wheelchair users and especially "pushers" don't need to struggle with this step.

We were very pleased with our choice of the Savoy for our 2 day stay in Evian. Our room overlooked the lake, and despite being on the main road noise was not a problem. It was in an extremely convenient position as we had arrived from Lausanne on the ferry and the terminal is on a few minutes easy walk from the hotel. There's a fantastic sun terrace on the Hotel roof, with loungers and sun shades, if we'd had more time we would have liked to spend an hour or two up there, enjoying the view. The hotel staff were very pleasant and managed to understand our very poor French! Breakfast was very good - a huge choice of items on the buffet, and delicious coffee. We would definitely like to stay here again.

Confort de la chambre

Difficulté de parquage. Circulation difficile à certain moments de la journée.

Hôtel idéalement placé au bord du lac. Les chambres sont spacieuses, propres et confortables. Nous avions une chambre vue lac et donc disposions d un petit balcon aménagé. Petit déjeuner buffet bien garni. Dommage que nous n y soyons restées qu une nuit!!!

Le seul bémol est l absence régulière de la personne à la réception.

Das Bad war nicht über alle Zweifel erhaben. Badetücher zerrissen, kein Wasserdruck in der Dusche, keine Duschkopfhalter etc.

Me ha gustado la ubicación, el personal, la limpieza, pero este hotel tiene alguna cosa por reformar pero en general bien. El precio muy bien por la calidad del hotel y ubicación, el desayuno esta muy bien por el precio que pagas en otros pagas casi el doble por lo mismo.
