The hotel was just lovely and in a great location, not far from Opera and Louvre. We were on our honeymoon and our room was upgraded. The room was looovely!! With the most amazingly comfy bed and pillows. The breakfast was really expensive. To have breakfast in your room was €30 per person for Continental and €35pp for cooked breakfast. This made €70 for breakfast for a couple. Also drinks etc in the hotel seemed quite pricey |

The design of the room and of the bathroom and that they were both big, "my bed" was really "attractive", there was no noise from the street, the air conditioning was working well, we had a nice view from the sixth floor, the lobby of the hotel is quite nice, the relation of this hotel to the Lumiere brothers was touching to me, and there might be many other things I liked about the Scribe... Just one detail: when asking for a room with street view, the person at the reception suggested that we should pay for a luxury room, although there were superior rooms with street view. This happened the first and also the second time we stayed at this hotel. We had to insist a little to convince the person to check and find the room we wanted. The staff might be a little bit more "aimable". |

Extremely comfortable beds, well laid out rooms, turn down service which is still a nice touch that is sadly lacking from most hotels these days. The price of breakfast is astronomical. Eating and drinking in this hotel is prohibitive which is such a shame as it is a beautiful hotel. |

De ligging van het hotel is helemaal super. Hartje Parijs met belangrijke bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand en de mogelijkheid tot parkeren. Bijzonder vond ik de relaxte sfeer in het hotel, het comfort en de stilte. Absolute rust midden in de stad had ik in parijs nog niet meegemaakt. |

La classe e l'eleganza della struttura, l'ottima posizione ideale per raggiungere a piedi gran parte dei siti turistici della città, il comfort e la dimensione (rispetto agli standard parigini) della camera, buonissima organizzazione, staff disponibile. Il costo decisamente eccessivo (seppur in linea con gli altri hotel di pari categoria) della prima colazione. |

Deux zones de standings différents au petit déjeuner, en fonction de quoi vous place-t-on dans l'une ou l'autre ? Attablés avec le car de touristes asiatiques ou au calme dans une pièce attenante ?... |

Tout! Tout!! Tout!!! L'accueil, la gentillesse et les attentions du personnel pour commencer... La chambre était magnifique, spacieuse, de bon goût, d'une propreté impeccable. Un plus pour Paris: un double châssis (pourtant la chambre donnait sur le Boulevard des Capucines), nous n'avions aucun bruit de circulation, le silence complet et feutré...! Le lit, la couette, les oreillers... |
