Scribe Paris  

The staff was very friendly, the room was good, the pillows were amazing and the water/coffee/tea was free.

There was an opened coke in our minibar. Cleaning staff didn't clean till perfection. Menu in the minibar said water costed 7 EUR/bottle, but once we checked out they told us it was free.

We are already a few times in the hotel and like the location. No hazzle by arriving by train and not by airport. However, at 1 pm I expect a room to be ready. This time a better control of the room cleaning would have been appropriate - glasses were not cleaned etc. Otherwise very good - we will return again but not in high season (currently overpriced).

Excellent location right next to Opera, super close to all shopping areas, and metro station. Walking distant to Concord, so it is very convenient no matter for shopping or city tour. Nice & comfortable hotel, room is small but acceptable. But don't expect they will give you an early checkin.

It does not "feel" a luxury hotel we expected "more" for this high rate. Room was relatively small. Window opend in the middle of the night and we could not close it. Maintenance is quite insufficiente.

Spacious renovated comfortable room; perfect location; smart lobby and other public spaces, good tearoom, friendly welcome at arrival, helpful consierge support.

Sometimes it was a certain mass with services; however, it was not too disappointing

Right across the street from a Metro station. Only 15 minutes walk from Musee Louvre. Very quiet in the room and the view overlooking Rue Scribe was very Paris.

location was perfect. rooms are modern and bathrooms are well-equipped. we stayed in luxury club room and for Paris i think the room was spacious and worth the money spent.

in our room bathroom and toilet were separated - personally i do not like that, but this is a matter of taste and personal habits.

Excellent hotel very well situated close to shops, restaurants and the sites of Paris. Staff were extremely helpful.

Too expensive for what it is

We had a very warm welcome, the room was prepared, though we did not have an optimal location with windows facing the inner court. The room was very modern and elegant but also cosy. The beds were an absolute delight - so soft and relaxing, I felt like sleeping in the clouds. Toiletries from Hermes had a delicate scent and were a classy touch. It was very thoughtful of the hotel to add a kettle in rooms; we have enjoyed a cup of tea every night, as well as a glass of warm water every morning (this is part of our daily routine).

Well, not much to complain, except the absence of the view. We have been waiting for this Paris trip for months and it was a disappointment to stay locked within walls and without much day light. Also, the luxury room which promised 28-30 sq m turned out to be much smaller. This is often an issue with internet booking, unfortunately. Otherwise, a big issue is showering, somehow the water does flow over the edge of the cabin and there is a little flood every time. Also, I absolutely detest the modern way of choosing tv channels (this is true of most hotels now), whatever used to be quick and simple has become overcomplicated for no reason, it takes time to figure out how the programme works, then it takes time to get through to a channel of your choice, I find it pointless and irritating. What was wrong with previous arrangements of tv programmes?
