breakfast is expensive for a not so luxurious buffet

They neglected to mention that they are experiencing construction which entails scaffolds around all walls and windows on 2 sides of the hotel. The lovely view of Paris= workers standing 3 feet away from, and directly in front of, your window. Rooms without this impediment were very small, and not the executive level I reserved. Staff was disingenuous about what they were providing compared to what I had reserved. Fortunately I found a room elsewhere, and expect them not to charge for something I did not receive. Very disappointing.

We stayed in the suite room with a spacious living area

Location was great. Staff was friendly and spoke English. Room cost was reasonable considering location and quality of room & service. Room service cost was not outrageous and offered a reasonable alternative for dining.

Room service did not always have items on menu. Hotel charged for every service no amenities included. Internet service was free, but very slow.

It was in an amazing part of town,very central. We could walk to all of the major attractions. The staff at the hotel were excellent making our stay at the hotel magical. Will definitely be back again.

The Superior room was rather small, staff at the reception (male) has been quite rude, which is totally unacceptable for a hotel of such level. The rest of them were okay, helpful and kind. Key card stopped working 20 minutes before check-out, which was annoying.

Location was great.

Service was not up to the standard for the hotel it was. Asked for a king room and was given twin. Concierge was terrible. Had to follow up numerous times for simple things that would normally be done quickly and efficiently in other lower star hotels. Door man was never there to assist with a taxi, always had to hunt someone down but was always there for a tip.

It is very good location. The hotel is member of Sofitel group . The restaurant is perfect (has one Michlen star) but better to book the table advance

The Concierge service not professional not efficient

The bed was just amazing, and the room itself is very stylish and comfortable. Very quite, friendly stuff, helping and welcoming. Again the location is perfect, close to Opera, which I find very nice area.

The view on the inside part of the hotel was not really pleasing, though for those who mostly stay there during the night time it's okay.

The location of the Hotel is perfect. It is very close to shopping malls, metro station and a short walk from many historical places.

It is more like a 4 star Hotel when I consider the decoration of the room.

Clean.

Parking 40 Euro per day. No swimminpool. No places in the restorant. Breakfast from 35 Euro per person.

Superb hotel, great staff, fantastic location

Since many years I stay at Scribe Hotel, when ever I come to Paris for business or with my family. The staff is always nice and friendly, service is perfect. It's my favourite hotel in Paris.

The price of eating there - completely disproportionate. For the room rate, breakfast should be complimentary, certainly not 35 Euros - crazy.

Terrible employees are responsible to meet guests. At the moment we have arrived by our car we asked about parking and the guy at the front door said they don't have the option. We did parking by ourselves. Later, at the check in, we knew they may do parking service as it was announced in Booking.com. We got a ticket for parking finally. Two days later when we were doing "check out" we asked our car and were informed we have to wait 10 minuts. Ok, we were waiting. Then, we got our car in 40 minuts. From time to time we asked receptionist, she called to any guy who was responsible for car parking, he promised something and nothing was happening. By the way, the garage was 2 minuts walk behind the hotel. Every breakfast employees at the restorant proposed coffee, but never tea spoon. Each time you have to catch some of them and ask the tea spoon. That is for price 350 euro per day. My recoomendation for this hotel employees be less lazy.
