the location, just 15 minutes from ferry port and a superb carpark
The single beds were a little too narrow
handy from ferry then good access to motor way south or to paris
you need to give a better explanation how to get your key once you are in the building. as well as the barrier and door codes. fortunately someone gave me the barrier code and some students rang the emergency number and got an explanation how to use the the number you gave to open the safe and get my key!!!
location wi-fi need register
Convenient location for early ferry access. The well equipped kitchen means that if you plan to arrive late you can bring a pre-cooked meal and warm it up at your own convenience without having to worry about finding a restaurant or take-away. Parking is secure. Receptionist very helpful and spoke very good English. Fridge in kitchen good for storing all those little treats that you might be taking to your ultimate destination.
Those who don't like walking may find it a little far from the city centre but it did look as though it was close to a main bus route. The location is a combination of industrial and high-rise residential, but if you're only there for one night don't let that put you off.
Value for money, friendly staff and comfortable
Not in a great location. a little awkward especially if you don't have a car. the kitchen is ok, better utensils for the fry pan would be useful like a flipper.
Location and facilities with parking on site.
Being able to prepare your own meals
No one on staff Sunday morning.
Late arrival without any problem Secured parking Good value for the money Clean
Quality and size of the bed. For a couple queen size would work much better.
Good, secure parking in a quiet area of Caen. Own transport is recommended. Arrival when reception desk is open is highly recommended because PINs are required for access to the car park and building. Bed and sofa bed very comfortable. Very clean living/dining room. Would stay here again.
Parking was six Euros per day which seemed slightly excessive but it was very secure.
Clean, comfortable room. Fairly affordable.
GPS and Mapquest took me straight to the location, but the hotel was located behind a wall and the entrance was not clearly marked. I had to ask the locals for the entrance, but couldn't enter with my car, because I needed a special code to open the barrier gate. I had to walk around the gate and hike into the office.
You need to call beforehand to get your parking gate's combination. Otherwise when you get in front of the gate you probably wait in despair and call the help desk fnally. Room was not very well furnished.
The staff was very helpful and the facilities modern and clean. Real value for money.
From the photos and the description of the accommodation booked (studio), I was under the impression that there was a separate living area. I was very disappointed when I found that the studios do not have a separate living area. This was one of the main reasons for booking this accommodation. Please change the misleading information. The shower is very small and badly designed.
Location in a quiet residential area but near enough to the centre. Good general facilities.
Extremely limited kitchen space. View of wasteland from window. Car parking charges.
really good location near ferry terminal
needed bigger cooking area
A very quiet convenient stopover with safe parking
Not a thing
Value for money, great base for short trip
The Staff was very nice and helpsome.
The beds were a sofa not a bed.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel and room clean. Quiet area.
Sleeper couch as opposed to a bed. The room is extremely small. The room smelt of cigarette smoke
Located in central Caen with loads of secure parking make this an ideal city hotel. We were travelling with 3 children (youngest in a travel cot) and did not feel cramped.
The shower door leaked badly soaking all my clothes I had left on the floor which was a pain.
The bed was a pullout sofa instead of a proper bed. It basically took up the entire floor space. I have never paid this amount of money for a hotel room and been made sleep on a makeshift bed.
Was very clean, tidy. I was on the end so had a window in the living area.
Small kitchen area. Staff didnt speak much english, but then I dont speak any french. No toaster or way of heating bread. no oven.
- idea of appartments with kitchen is good - helpful staff
- not clean at all - bad smell
Check in easy.
Breakfast was a shambles. One poor lady to clear away.Hours are between 0700 and 0900. Went in at 0800 and all criossants and pain de raisin had gone and had to wait for 20mins. for them to be replenished.Seems to be a home for students which is not broadcast.
not too far from the centre of Caen and its in a fairly quiet area.
I was staying at the hotel with my 16 year old son, on a trip to take in all the history of WW2 in Normandy. But on arrival we had only one double bed, i went to reception and enquired about another room with two single beds only to be told the hotel was full. I then asked if we could have a single bed brought to the room, told not at this time of day,and no bed was brought to the room at all which i think is totally unacceptable. Also there was no room service for the five days, no towel changes nothing.
