Excellent location Good value for money

We arrived after reception closed and the staff was very accommodating and gave us very clear instructions over the phone. The hotel was easy to find, the rooms had plenty of space and the kitchenette was really handy for our earlier mornings.

The wifi was not available for us and our room had an odd smell that we had to air out.

Spacious apartment, clean and tidy. Fold out bed was good. Great location, walking distance to town and supermarket. Bus stop nearby. Free car parking.

Kitchenette was a little smaller than I would've liked and more utensils could've been provided i.e. cutting board, spatula.

No shower just bath

We thought that the appartment was excellent value for money. It was very well-equipped and extremely warm and comfortable - a home from home experience at a great price.

Accessing the complex was a real nightmare for us. Even though I teach french, we had real difficulties in gaining entrance to the site. We only managed to get the barrier code by asking another resident who happened to be leaving as we were struggling to gain access. Once inside the reception, we were unable to access our room key because it was locked in a safe deposit box for which we had no code!! Once again, we were rescued by a kindly resident.

Simple, clean accommodation. Helpful staff; a minor problem with the room was rectified very quickly after it was reported.

No reception service on Sunday, which meant that a problem with the room could not be sorted out until Monday.

The accommodation was very well designed with a useful kitchenette and well equipped for a one night stay.It felt quite luxurious and the shower room was beautiful and all was very clean and modern. The car park was large and secure.

The single beds were very narrow. The matress protectors were plastic. The coffee machine had no filters. The TV had no option of changing the language to English like some hotels have. I am being very picky-it was really lovely!

The reception staff was helpful, and spoke English! My French is adequate but speaking English is convenient. Having wifi that actually works as advertised was a pleasant surprise. In my month long trip at over a dozen places, it was a big problem; my only connection to home. The bus stop was convenient. Knowing the schedule helps because it's rather infrequent, especially in the evening. If I'd had stayed in Caen longer, I would have stayed here. Of the three places I stayed in Caen, this was my favorite.

Plenty of free parking, hotel room clean as was the bathroom, staff were friendly, location was ok in a quite area about one kilometer from the castle & historic quarter, with it's many restaurants, Caen itself is a good location to explore Normandy

the room had a pull out sofa bed which you had to make up each night, we stayed three nights, the room was to small to have left it open, it had a sink, fridge, microwave, cups & plates etc,in a very small tight space but no toaster it took twenty minutes to make two pieces of toast under the microwave grill, we were to tight to pay the asking price for a continental breakfast there was nowhere to hang damp towels to dry for use the next day its not so much a hotel more a bed sit

The codes in case of late arrival were sent well in advance what I really appreciated as we had problems with this chain in other locations. The hotel is not located in the very city centre but there is a big secure parking and it is very quite, all attractions are within walking distance anyway. The room was very clean and of decent size. Little kitchenette was also very handy. Internet was free in the room. We stayed just for a night and everything was perfect.

Good for an overnight stop. We left early the next morning to catch the ferry and so didn't want or need any additional services such as breakfast. Kitchenette useful for making a cup of tea and light breakfast before we left.

Not very keen on the sofa bed, although, to be fair, we both slept well.

We arrived late (after 9pm) but be received an email in advance with all the codes to acccess the parking lot, to enter the hall and to open the safe that contained the keys to get into our studio.

A nice sized space in the main living area with a range of cooking facilities. A decent sized fridge and chairs for 4 around a table.The bathroom was clean and well stocked with towels and toilet paper. The main bedroom was comfy with a tv on the wall. Very handy for a local Carrefour and within a 5 min drive into the city. Staff were friendly and polite, wifi easy to access and free safe parking.we enjoyed our short stay.

The best thing was the price, it was very good value for money. I liked that there was a laundromat for guests to use. We caught up on all our clothes washing here. It is a good place to base yourself for war tourism on the D-Day coast. Good free Wifi. Good staff with good humour and ready to help. We were on a self drive holiday. The place was easy to find with the GPS. Plenty of free parking and you could buy a spot in the secure underground lot if you wanted to.

The place is a bit out of town so there are no nearby cafe. You have to go a fair way to get to place to eat after dark.

It was very good value for money and we particularly liked the freedom that the kitchenette gave us to make picnics, breakfast etc. We intend to return next year for a longer period and hope we can have a favourable rate!!!

Nothing - it was all very good.

Our two separate overnight stays were excellent value. The mini-kitchen was a great addition to the accommodation, the room was clean, comfortable, though compact, and breakfast was also good.

Everything is ok as described, good value for money, will come again with pleasure.

Early check-out - 10.00 A.M. Would be better at 12.00 A.M. or at least at 11.0 A.M.

My studio room had only a pullout couch bed.

Great parking facilities. Proximity to city centre. The staff was quite helpful with information about hotel access in case of late arrival. Good value for money.

Medium breakfast for a fair price.
