None. We did not enjoy our stay at all. Upon arrival, the male receptionist was a bit rude and insensitive and the car parking was dodgy(some potential thieves around the hotel). He did acknowledge the presence of thieves outside the hotel and warned us about them! We arrived late afternoon with plenty of daylight but got scared to go out because the sorroundings were filthy and dodgy characters can be seen waiting for victims. This is the city center location as they defined it on their website. The pictures on their website appeared cleaner and more beautiful but the reality is not the same. Receptionist should be more sensitive to other cultures and be more polite. Be more realistic in advertising as the ads may not reflect the real situation and customer expectations may be higher than it should be.

Excellent location. Staff very polite. Rooms are equipped with so much to stay on the road, we strongly advise against extended stay at the hotel.Very comfortable beds and well-functioning air conditioning. Breakfast sufficient, tasty coffee. Neglected corridors, bathroom clean but requires repair, the lack of furniture in the room, a very modest equipment.

Location (close proximity and ease of access from Gare de Marseille-Saint-Charles, close proximity to city centre). The Satıurday morning receptionist did not register the 10 € breakfast money i paid in cash under our room account so i had to explain and even make a promise to another receptionist the next morning that i had paid. A bit more professionalism please.

Absolutely nothing!!!! Its a hell! Rude Staff, Dirty Rooms, Unfriendly surrounding. No Internet or wifi for the first day and a half. As a Hotelier myself, I would rate it "minus 3 - Star". Booking.com shoudl not market such run-down dirty place. It was total disaster.

Nice comfortable room, large bathroom. Good room design. Location near city center. Soundproof hallways. Parking near. No wifi in rooms. No heater in bathroom, so there was pretty cold (mid of December).

We found the staff were very helpful in all our requests. Rooms were good and basic .. very good for the price..staff put us onto the very good tourist things around the city.. Again we were very appreciative of all the staff

Reasonable room at reasonable rate. Wifi access was limited to the foyer - surely room based access would be easy enough to arrange. It felt a bit like a backpackers hotel with everyone sitting in the foyer with their laptops!

The hair-dryer is not equipped in the room. It is written that a guest can borrow a hair-dryer at the reception. When I asked a hair-dryer at 8PM, the man said that I have to return the dryer within that night, because someone else might need it. He seemed to ask me to wear the day-clothes after the bath instead of the nightwear and bring the dryer to the reception. I know some cheap hotels do not have hair-dryers. If I had brought my own one, the journey would have been more pleasant.

Excellent location, right in the middle of Marseilles, 5 minutes walk from the Gare Saint Charles train station. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Rooms furnished in modern style, with large bathroom. Good facilities. Nice place to spend couple of days while in Marseilles. WiFi internet connection should be available in all rooms not only in the hotel lobby.

good location very bad welcome: the receptionist was trying to refuse to gives the double bed room we booked. He wouldn't tell why. We're suspecting he simply didn't want a gay couple to share a bed.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Nora at the Front Desk. Location is good for either shopping (on the parallel street 5 min. walk) or harbourfront which is maybe 15 min. walk away. I was very pleased with the breakfast. Good choices and ample.

L hotel est Proche de la gare st Charles Hôtel a déconseiller vivement en raison de inadéquation entre un prix élevé et un service Médiocre. En effait, nous étions très déçu de cet hôtel. Nous avons passé un très mauvais séjour surtout que nous attendions ces quelques jours de vacances avec impatience. L hôtel ne mérite absolument pas les trois étoiles pour les raison suivantes: des nôtres arrivé l entrée de l hôtel étais salle alors qu il étais déjà 13h passé, la climatisation n a pas fonctionné pendant tout notre séjour (5jours), chose qui est très importante quand il fait 30 degré ( du coup la chambre était insupportable et surtout le soir ), la véranda dans laquelle le petit dej est servi est un four car il fait trop chaud (effet de serre) plus de 30 degré, les femmes de ménages oublie parfois de remettre des serviettes propres!!!? Le petit dej est servi jusqu'à 12h mais si vous arrivez a 11h 25 on vous engeule !! Bref que des mauvaises aventures malgré le prix que nous avons payé (90 € la nuit!!) je me demande comment il ont obtenu les 3 étoiles , a rajouter que le Cartier est degeulasse.

“The level of service was amazing. Much better than many 4/5 star hotels we've stayed at all over the world. We went to Marseille for a music concert, and discovered that rather than taking a lengthy taxi ride as we didn't want to drive our car, all we had to do was walk across the street to the train station and go 4 stops on the subway. Lots of pedestrian areas to wander and good choice of food all around. As we had to leave by 6:15 am, and breakfast wasn't served until 6;30, Jose at the front desk/bar area offered to make us an early breakfast. We had yogurt, fresh fruit salad, oj, coffee, and fresh croissants, all included in the room rate.” Lee, Caux |
