Superb customer service Facilities are impeccable
It was the best night we have ever spent at a hotel ever a true five star. The staff was amazing, for one night we felt like a king and queen truly wonderful.
Best place to stay in Paris! Spacious rooms, which is a big plus in Paris Staff very curtious and professional- anytime I called reception for something there were there within minutes, v nice and happy personnel.
NOTHING! ABSOLUTELY LOVED EVEYTHHING!
Great view, welcome champagne and macarons, big and spacious room
The staff is very helpful, variety of restaurants
The price is a bit too high.
The room with a view of the Eiffel Tower was perfect. Exceptional Restaurant and top quality service. Attentive nature of all staff from front of house to restaurant.
Absolutely nothing - everything in this hotel was perfect for a romantic week-end stay.
Location, view, staff
Room was in need of repairs, 1st night the shade in the bathroom was broke and stuck in the down position blocking the view of Eiffel tower which is reason I booked this hotel/room and pain the amount of money that I did, was told someone would be right up to fix it and took over 2hrs causing me to miss dinner, they did a temporary fix that left it in open position which was ok, didn't even offer to send up glass wine or champagne or even food since I told them I had now missed my dinner reservations and plans. In the bedroom black out shade was severely damaged and therefore did not blackout the light, also sheer shade was damaged, carpeted had several stains on it, lamp shade stained, spot on the leather ottoman was burned by an iron, spot of wall with wall paper peeling off.
From the hotel entrance to the room, kind staffs guided everything perfectly. Room was largest ever in Paris and view was amazing with the tower, ah yes, we stayed at eiffel suite. We also loved hand-written welcome letter and fruits.
Eiffel Tower view
Enjoyed the view of Eiffel Tower from our terrace Room service quality of food was good Staff were very accommodating and went out of their way to ensure we were well taken care of Rooms were very nice, large tub and shower with rain shower head Arranged for all transportation through hotel. Was very organized process and always on time.
Location is a little out of the way from most Paris must see areas. Cab drivers did not know of the hotel or how to get there (strange).
Overall, was great and beyond expectations.
the room service is a little slow and with the language/accent difficulties, they can misunderstand parts of the order.
The price is too high
The Hotel is located very close to the Eiffel Tower. The best rooms of the Hotel have a great view on the tower during the day but also at night. The pool and spa area looks very nice although I didn't take time to experience. Everyone working at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful which made us feel very relaxed.
This is the best place to stay for a special occasion even if you can only afford 1 night you must do it. They upgraded us to the suite for no extra charge when they learned we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary.
From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. It was a great hotel to spend a special occasion.
Very expensive but worth it.
EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was an wonderful and amazing finish to of visit to France…
We were celebrating our 30th anniversary in Paris. View of the Eiffel Tower was spectacular. We had a room with a balcony. It was the best way to enjoy the view. Champaign and fruit in the room when we arrived. Nice touch. Location was perfect. Walkable to Eiffel Tower and train.
We are not smokers. Twice there were cigarette butts and matches on the balcony probably from a room above. We informed the hotel the first time and they removed it. Didn't bother telling them the second time it happened. Requested morning newspaper. Once thru the online request they sent us and again confirmed when we arrived. Needless to say no newspaper at all. Hotel restaurant was overpriced. We were originally seated near the entry and center of the restaurant. We asked for a window seat to view the garden. We had the wine pairing with the meal. The wine was too much for the small portion-sized meal. Could not drink the last two glasses of wine. Such a waste. These may be minor issues but not for a 5-star hotel. All-in-all we didn't let it get in the way of our enjoyment of the hotel.
One of the nicest hotels I have stayed at. After coming from the Ritz London, I can say that we enjoyed our stay at the Shangri-La even more! Walking distance to the Eiffel Tower
Excellent Service, walking distance to the tower
We were on the first floor so that was a little disappointing. I paid extra for a premiere eiffle tower and thought we'd have a better view.
One of the best experience in a 5 star hotel, absolutely superb. I've never seen a hotel even 5 stars having prepared such a way to welcome a kid (namely prepared burp set, food heater, games, water games, etc). Absolutely the best staff. Location is calm and one can easily go to tourist attractions or downtown with taxi or subway which is meters away from the hotel's entrance.
The hotel has fine dining restaurants, but on the in-room dining menu only few dishes, like pizza, hamburger and pasta available at high costs, we wished we could chose from the superb restaurant menu as well. I hope with our next stay at this hotel this be resolved. Breakfast, like others complanied is menu served on order but not only costly but contains no much veggies. Otherwise no issues and I'm sure we'll visit this place many more times in the future.
I have nothing negative to report which is very rare for me :-) everything was perfect.
Everything were all right
A little bit poor in supply of breakfast
