Pullman Versailles Château  

Excellent location for visiting the chateau and the surrounding city. Room was clean, comfortable, stylish and quiet.

The free wifi was very slow and I had trouble accessing it with my IPhone.

We were upgraded to a suite because they said the hotel was "heavily booked" which was great. The location is fantastic for visiting Versailles. Hotel is very nice and personnel were excellent.

Only complaints were the lighting in the rooms was not very good and the air conditioner not very efficient.

Convenient location, clean room, friendly staff, good breakfast selection and nice free biscuits in the room!

Close to the Palace, all you need for a short visit. Great bed!

the hotel is extremely well located, a few hundred meters from the Castle, which is a very good asset when you're totally exhausted after the visit. the restaurant is very good and the breakfast typically french, additional asset with the Lenôtre jam +++ parking is also very good as it is impossible to find a correct parking in Versailles

the 4th floor smells a lot, something like wet old walls, not well aerated. signs of humidity in the rooms, on the wallpapers and aeration areas. bathrooms should be repainted, toilets as well

It was walking distantance from Versailles Castle.

Breakfast was great

The hotel was in a fantastic location, close to the chateau and to the shopping and restuarant areas of Versailles.The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom spacious. Free wireless was very useful.

The TV was a bit difficult to access amid all the pay options. The breakfast was very expensive, although there are numerous options close by for breakfast - coffee shops and restaurants. The hallway smelled a bit, but as everyone in France seems to smoke that is not suprising.

some staff were excellent

Some staff came across rude, not very friendy. I also didn't like the small choice of food and the portions were very small not good value for money.

The buffet breakfast was very good on the whole with a good selection of fresh fruit and fruit juices. Also there was a good selection of bread and pastries. The hot dishes were a bit limited and the scrambled eggs tasted powdery. Otherwise the breakfast was very good and good value for money.

My hotel room was upgraded to a superior double on my arrival and I do not know why. However, the room was disappointing with as the decor was tired and dated. The bed throw was soiled and there was a blood stain on it. The room overlooked the courtyard so it was quiet, but the outlook was spoilt by scaffolding walkways running round every wall of the courtyard and outside every window from ground level to the roof level. I even had workmen painting the outside of my window on friday morning. I made a comment at reception on my departure and they just shrugged at me. And access to the website was not free. .
