Room was spacious (family suite), breakfast was lovely, and the location was perfect for Versaille and local restuarants, and the train into Paris.
Hallway had a peculiar smell, but didn't affect us really.
Basically at front gate of Chateau. Secure parking. Convenient to train station. Great helpful staff. Good size room.
Nothing was objectionable. Did not eat in hotel so can't comment.
The bed was comfortable, although if you get a room facing the busy street it is noisy. Nice staff, apart from the management. Also the part I liked the most was >TO LEAVE ASAP. Left to stay at the Trianion Astoria Palace, true luxury and worthy of its stars. No comparison.
My first and last time a at a Pullman. Reception the only nice part of the hotel, once in the elevator things change. Awful smell all thru the 2nd floor, old and dated. Poor management. As a frequent traveller I haven't received a worse welcome. Was followed around by management going down to my car then repeatedly asked for my room nr.... Made me feel unwelcome and odd. That was only minutes after checking in. I arrived early 6 am, was all fine but for a charge, a third of my roomrate extra. ( not always the case elsewhere) Management had nothing to offer for the inconvenience... Rather just excuses.
My husband and I enjoyed the luxury of stepping out of the door of the hotel and seeing the The Chateau a short walk away, at the end of a boulevard of lovely trees. There were places nearby to eat and Versailles seemed very easy to access from the Pullman.
The staff were excellent, polite and really helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was excellent (a superior room. There's a small 'village' at the back of the hotel - check it out.
Not really moans, but just a heads-up to seasoned travellers - as to be expected, food and drink was expensive in the hotel. And, some items in the room were looking a bit tired, weary and slightly outdated to justify such expense. I don't mind paying double figures for each drink, but expect a reassuringly high standard when attention to detail was lacking especially in the rooms. For instance, there was wallpaper hanging off the ceiling and walls in the WC. I expect a little bit more, but it wouldn't put me off staying again. By the way, there are plenty of cafes and restaurants around the palace, all very good and much cheaper than the hotel.
Great location, excellent breakfast, Attractive bar
20 Euros to park your car
Walking distance to Chateau and restaurant area at market square
Booking dot com voucher told me that VAT was included It wasn't
Position near Chateau and easy walk to lively area with restaurants etc
Only quibble is that none of the staff seemed to know the name of their own restaurant
Situated close to the chateau, the rooms were nice, the beds very good and the breakfast was also more than satisfactory. The pepole in the reception were helpful and nice - we found nothing to complain about
Underground parking.. Nice lobby
Management has forgotten to inspect each room. The first room we declined had rippled carpet and bad odor. Second room had missing tiles in the bathroom and ripped carpets. For the price of this room it was poor quality. The rate probably reflects the location which is great but would not recommend because the rooms are not well maintained.
Extremely comfortable bed after long days walking around Versailles & Paris.
Limited parking & difficult to find with building works blocking view of hotel from the road
Location is best in Versailles. Bed was massive and comfy. Breakfast really good
Bathroom was a bit shabby (loose tiles). Room service expensive.
Within walking distance to shops, restaurants.
Service was slow to order a meal
It has a very good location.
I thought the rooms would be more modern.
Rooms in need of refurb Signage to hotel poor Difficult to find
Room nice and big Wifi good Location great
Kids pull out bed not comfortable Room service very slow although we got a present later.
This hotel is our favorite one in Versailles and very close to the Chateau. You can rely on the staff working there to help you and make you feel welcome.
very good location right next to the palace covered parking underneath nice reception and restaurant areas Breakfast was good
we arrived 15:30 and told our room was not ready and would take another hour. I think they are short staffed. the staff was polite and apologetic. Once you get off the lift, you see the corridors and rooms are overused and have distinct smell.
Easy access to Palace and restaurants
Great location, excellent service, friendly helpful staff.
Location, staff, fantastic breakfast, super comfortable bed.
Tired, but clean bathroom
We came back here as it offers all we need for our golfing weekend - close to the golf course, close to very good restaurants in Versailles and car parking!
The location - including parking
There was only ever one member of staff on duty. Checking in took 40 minutes (after a 5 hour drive) and checking out took 25 minutes.
Perfect location to visit the Chateau and Paris avoiding the crowds.
