El tamaño de la habitación, muy pequeña. No corresponde a un hotel 5 estrellas. Parece un hotal 4 estrellas.

Staff were excellent - very polite and helpful. Excellent location too, very central.

The junior suite wasn't worth the money we paid for it. It was basic/average and small and we had to request a coffee machine as it didn't have one even though the ad said it did. Also there was animal hair on the carpet so we didn't want to put our baby down on it.

Conscience to old city. Service and attention to detail. Amenities on site, two superior restaurants, workout facility, spa. Consierage service excellent.

Every thing. We've been upgraded to a suit which was excellent, the staff was very helpful and all facilities we tried were excellent. Location on the river's bank, great.

Breakfast was nothing special fro the price of 24 eur pp. the spa needs a relaxation space (ie a few chairs / beds)

The nice view from the 8th floor over the city Lyon

As usual everything was great. The breakfast was fantastic. We had a river view room which I'd recommend. The booking in was efficient and the person attending us went beyond the usual by showing us places on their map which they recommended. The view from the 8th floor across Lyon was a delight. Staff were excellent. Bedding quality was excellent. I particularly liked the way textiles were incorporated into the design - a wall of silk weaving in the foyer and various items around the hotel to remind us that Lyon as a silk making heritage and makes the Sofitel a little unique to the others by picking up on local

Pillows as with nearly all our European hotels were too soft and too thin. However, this was fixed immediately so wasn't a problem after adjustment. Only slight problem was that we were jetlagged and wanted meals in the afternoon and there was only a cold menu available. Even though the quality was excellent I think a couple of hot meal options would help with travellers who want meals at different times.

Centrally located, great service

Rooms are small and getting tired, old carpet. I have paid 25 Euro for the advertised 'fast speed' Internet in my room, but the Internet was so slow, practically impossible to use. Same goes for the Wi Fi in the room. On my final invoice my country of origin was recorded as Afganistan instead of Australia...

Friendly staff spoke good Fenglish which was very helpful

Needs a refurbishment in the hallways. Carpet etc. has passed it's use by date.
