I travel the world for business, this was maybe the best stay in years.....

Nicely situated hotel and the room (131) with a balcony and big bath tub was very pleasant. The fact that there was a Sauna and a swimming pool was a factor to choose the hotel, although we never had a chnace to use either because of the short opening hours of the sauna on a Sunday - a real shame.

The service: the waiters were very rushed and did not listen very well, we had that both in the restaurant as well as with the room service. The Easter Sunday breakfast was horrible, the waiters and reception staff were rushed, the buffet was not re-filled after 10:30am and the whole room was noisy and hectic. Although we got some advice from the Concierge, it was not very original and we could have figured out the information easily ourselves. We got our room by paying an upgrade. The staff at reception did not let us use our American Express Platinum card which would have included the upgrade. In conclusion: Still some work to do to become a luxury hotel that compares with other luxury hotels internationally.

The view of my room is fantastic. The concierge in this hotel is the best. My overall experience during my stay is excellent.

The room is 5 star, view (if facing the water) is 5 star, but the staff working in the bar and breakfast restaurant are 3 stars.

I like very nice staff spoken beautiful english . Helpful ( I called to order a taxi before check out and lady proposed me ( by her self ) to prepare an invoice for me in advance - top class ! Check out was very fast for me then ) I love the hotel design(scenery rather!) - nobby,elegant meanwhile with a good taste -particular .mixture of splendour with simlicity /minimalizm - Decorator must be a scene-painter:)with great fantasy. The same with the spa -it is a piece of art -mastership in designing! a bit too light for me however/!24/24-I love it -excercises for good sleep at night. during a day you can order a massage . Hairdresser is on the ! st floor as I remember -great idea . I like tea and coffee facilities in the room.!! Bed and bedding was nice and comfortable. Internet was a cable net not wifi - if there is a wifi I had no pleasure to use it. The patiseria and hmm kind of shop-not nice- is on the other site of the street as well as shop with fruits and vegetables which are very good here.

Bit acustic rooms you can hear neighbours from above and those who are camming back in the evening ( from the coridor) Aircon in my room was not the most powerfull.And view from my room was not impresive but it s like that-it was not a room with harbour view indeed.

Really nice rooms and public areas. Very friendly and efficient staff. Great views, nice park next door (for our dog).

Not enough sunbeds by the pool, especially as pool shared with Novotel; also sun lost by 6pm behind the hotel. Quite a long walk to shops/restaurants of old town

Great location with stunning views of the Old Port. Hotel has undergone major renovations in 2009. Modern design décor throughout. Complimentary upgrade to a deluxe room with a view & king bed was very much appreciated.

Continental breakfast very basic and greatly overpriced at 25 euros. WiFi and local newspaper should be free of charge at a 5 star hotel.
