The restaurant was closed and no prior notice had been given. Otherwise I would have chosen an alternative hotel.

The fitness room is awful. It was one of the features we were looking forward to and we were appalled with the equipment: two machines for cardio which did not work well, and one broken combination weight machine which was broken. The hotel is outright lying when they claim they have a fitness facility. The breakfast people should keep the tea flask filled with HOT water. When I requested they switch the tepid water out for hot, they returned with warmish water.

The staff were amazing. The facilities are awesome. They are 15 mins from the beach walking. I was traveling for 6hrs and extremely exhausted and they allowed me to check in early. The rooms and bathrooms are very large by French standard. They are close to the Tram so easy access to and from all train station. Room service was on time with my breakfast so I could get up and go quickly in the mornings. Rooftop pool:).

Well the toilets need some updating. They are not traditional which adds to the charm of the hotel but can easily be prone to malfunction but serves it's purpose.

Close to the tram (essential as the hotel is quite a way out of the centre of Nice) & around an 8 minute walk to Riquier train station where you can get a train to all major venues(Cannes, Monte Carlo, Antibes etc) The bus stop to get to the airport (98) is also situated across the road from the station. The staff were incredibly helpful and very efficient.

A very noisey hotel as they have laminate floors in the rooms and the walls are like paper. The design of the room is quite minimalist and has a cold feel to it. The bed did not have a headboard and every time you sat up in bed it moved away from the wall as it was on wheels!!! There are no drawers and there is very little storage space. Room service is non existent and the pool bar was always closed. The pool area is very sterile and uninviting and the loungers are very uncomfortable. In all a very disappointing hotel for the price.

Spa and pool areas/terrace need a refurbishment

The rooms were very comfortable and nicely decorated. We had a lovely view over looking the plaza and hills. The location could not have been better. On the otherside of the plaza was the tram station, which took you to the historical centre in 3 to 4 stops. A few more stops took you to the main railway station, where you could take trains to Cannes etc. I am happy to recommend this hotel

Upon arrival we were asked for 200euros deposit in cash as a quaranty for the mini bar!Also upon departure we were asked for 9 euros extra in cash for a city tax!

The hotel is a bit far from the center but, fortunately, there is a Tram stop in front of the Hotel and you may reach the center in 10 minutes.

Some equipment was below our expectations. The hotel description mentions private parking but the hotel has no garage. I had to leave my car in a public parking. Disappointing.

We liked the location - good for seeing the city and the surrounding towns and countries as close to the smaller railway station in Nice. We liked the hotel pool. We liked the modern design and the updated rooms. Hotel situated right by the tramway so very easy access into the city.

There was no facility to make tea / coffee in our room, which for a 4 star hotel was very poor indeed. The bottom sheet did not fit the bed and kept coming off. The fixtures and fittings were poor quality and the plug socket fell off every time you plugged something in. The free wifi did not work in our room, only in the foyer. Breakfast was far too much money for a continental breakfast - at 20 euros each person so we had breakfast out. Our room was on the fron of the hotel and was very noisy thorugh the night due to the constant ambulance sirens driving past to the nearby hospital. The hotel pool did not have enough sunbeds or shades. The pool bar was very expensive and depsite their being no signage to the contrary guests were asked not to take their own drinks and snacks there. I took fruit and was told I couldn't eat it even though the pool bar does not sell fruit. The floor of our room was laminate and made horrible cracking noises whenever you walked about - thus waking the other person if you needed the loo in the middle of the night!

Clean, nice pool, very helpful and friendly reservation and restaurant staff, comfortable beds, full crib-sized cots (easily accommodated my 3 1/2 year old), and truly right at the tramstop. So easy to go to old town Nice. Carrefour one block away. I traveled alone with my three and four year old girls and it was simple to go out on adventures and dining.

Hotel staff were excellent and helpful! Rooms are clean and spacious.

Not enough employes ...so bad service in the pool, in the restaurant (pool), bar not refiled in room, bad cleaning service, personal at the reception very arrogant and don't showing any sympathie (one of the directors (a woman) intimidate a child that was touching something in the reception (with no importance at all)....and started scriming with the young boy (japanese) in her language (french)...terrible!!!

Clean and reasonably priced hotel. Trams stop opposite hotel and only three stops into old town of Nice. Close to railway station for trips to beach and Monaco. Roof top pool - ideal for cooling off in the heat. Ideal for short city break.

Great Hotel offering excellent value for money - Great rooms, Superb rooftop terrace bar and pool - Very quiet and relaxing through the day. Location for Nice Ville, the Beach and the station for trips to Cannes and Monaco etc couldnt be better. Would highly reccomend this hotel.

Staff were friendly an having a pool in the scorching weather was a real bonus.

Old room floor with |"dancing" laminate, breakfast not included and extreemply expensive as optional service

We chose it because it has a rooftop pool, and was similar to the Novatel opposite, which we stayed at last year. There is a new Rooftop Bar and dining area too, which the other hotel does not have. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although the beds, like most hotels are very firm. The food is very good, although drinks are dear. The staff are superb! I must mention in particular the desk manager (Adrian?), who was always helpful, and the Rooftop Bar manager, Christopher; a very hard working and pleasant young man. The staff always made us feel special, and nothing was too much trouble. I hope we will see them next year.

There should be more loungers available by the rooftop pool. It was explained to us that they were limited for fire evacuation safety reasons. Some guests would put towels on loungers when the pool opened at 9.00 am, then go for breakfast. Others would leave towels on loungers then go shopping! By 9.30am all the loungers were taken. I think that "reserving" loungers should be prohibited, with notices to that effect be placed around the pool. We did not have that problem last year when we stayed at the Novatel. The pool is the main reason we chose the hotel, and is an essential part of our holiday.

We stayed in one of the junior suites and it was amazing, really clean and spacious. Location is brilliant with the old town near enough on the door step, 15 min walk to the beach or a few minutes on the tram (stop just outside). We got a train to Monaco one day, the train station an easy 5 minute walk from the hotel and for 6 Euros and 20 minutes on the train we were there! Also noticed a lot of people getting on the train to get of one stop later with beach gear in hand, you could see the beach and it is by far better than the Nice beaches (pebbles) if you fancy a day of sunning it! Roof top pool and bar are amazing with gorgeous views, we will definitely stay here again.

Free Wifi is only in the lobby and only for 30 minutes at the time, if you want it in your room there is an extra charge.

Great for getting into centre of Nice as tram outside door and runs every few minutes.Eight minute walk to train station and bus station so easy access for Airport and doing day visits, We got a bus to St Jean Cap Ferrat for €1 and a train to Ville France return for €2.40. Very clean hotel, lovely large room , good air conditioning.GREAT Cafes across the road for breakfast

You had to pay for Internet access, breakfast very expensive If you are coming home after the tram stops at 1.30 it is a little scary walking

Pool area, insufficient sun beds, work being carried on around pool deck giving an untidy feeling. on check out charged me a higher rate than confirmed on booking.com but altered it when i brought it to their attention showing them my confirmation from booking.com

Was a long way from the sea.
