Good location, nice interior
Unfriendly and slow staff at the reception
So stayed here on a recommendation from a friend but he must of been mistaken. Firstly it is away from the airport and you need to take the free shuttle. Called the hotel for a shuttle bus to pick us up. No answer and when I did get through that didn't get us the shuttle either. So now we have to walk with 4 large bags and 4 carry on and push a pram. Got to our room and that isn't to bad. Next thing lets get some food as kids haven't eaten since this morning and it's now 4pm. Restaurant not open until 7, so go to the bar, order a club sandwich which was tasting and came with fries but at €19 you would expect it to be bigger and come with a drink, no we had to buy a coke and that was another €6. Food is totally over priced and not worth it. Even the menu at the restaurant is over the top pricing but guessing they can do that as you don't have another option as there is nothing else close by. There is a nespresso machine in the room but that needs to be cleaned as its filthy. Only positive I can give about the room is the bed and shower. At €300 a night I really wished I had stayed else where and not listened to my friend. Would look elsewhere before here.
Comfort bed and clean bathroom. Good service with free bus to trade show centre.
The restaurant and the expensive breakfast. It is a good hotel to sleep when you are travelling / airport, but do not eat there! Hotel changed from Pullmann to Mercure without informing us. The fitness and swimming pool you can reach only through a poor entrance. Not a 4 star hotel quality. the fitness room you cannot call a fitness room!
Quietness of room. Price. Proximity to airport.
Lack of advertised inclusions of our deal such as Nespresso machine and audio system. Our room was not fully set up for what they had promised. Paper cups for Nespresso and tiny UHT milk capsules not fresh milk. Attempts to redress this with a new machine were slow and time wasting. Lack of bath towels on arrival and after cleaning despite us asking for more after the first time (only 2 for 3 people). The room safe didn't work and we had to wait for a technician to 'fix' it when we already knew it just needed to be replaced as it had no power function. Day one breakfast was well stocked and good but day two there was a lack of food for the number of customers and restocking was slow. Also, our stay was pre paid and when we checked out the reception staff told us we owed 9 euros due to some booking charge. We disputed this given our issues with the room and the staff did agree to waive the fee (they agreed it was their mistake but initially still wanted us to pay). All in all disappointing and we would not return.
We stayed here overnight before flying out of France so we wouldn't have to travel to the airport straight before our flight. It's a classy hotel with comfortable beds, nice rooms and a lovely swimming pool. Our room was big, too, by French standards. A very quick shuttle ride to the airport, which is exactly what we wanted. And there is absolutely no noise from the planes despite the proximity. The train ride to and from Paris is easy (although too long and the ticket too expensive to stay at this hotel as a long-term base and go into Paris every day). Ideal as a one-night stop before an early flight or to stay the night if you arrive late before moving into central Paris the next day.
Being so close to the airport there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance (other than the usual hotel restaurants which are a little pricey, as always).
Breakfast and bed
I really like everything about the hotel because it's very neat and quite.
Staff were rude not one but all they must have in house training on this because they were all excellent at it . They were very arrogant and rude.
Fantastic hotel. Loved every aspect.
My 6 yr old daughter threw up at 3 am. The night reception person said they had no housekeeping and refused to send anyone up to help clean. He would not even get us extra towels so I could clean it myself. I had to insist speaking to the manager who personally bought me extra towels. That was very nice of him.
Nice hotel, free shuttle, great ambiance, and very comfortable bed.
No proper toiletries
Big rooms, very dpgood breakfast and transfer from hotel back to terminal 2!
The hotel had just changed name from Pullman to Mercure, which we didn't know. We went to the hotel transfers and couldn't find Pullman. We called them and they told us they are now Mercure. However there was a big bus for a Mercure away from the airport. We were lucky we double checked with the driver!
Bed very comfortable and room very quite
30 minutes to find the navette location at the airport - not a single sign and no knowledge at the information points; Navette bus only stops at one point, so have to walk long way with luggage; Gave us a standard room despite promises of an upgrade - furthermore the toilet was leaking; Navette bus takes a long time despite web site showing the hotel to be very close to airport
big room space compared to other hôtels located in the CGD area
hotel changed name after my reservation, from Pullman to Mercure CDG and this was confusing for me since direction panels were not clear, they need to improve the way they manage this situation
Arrived at 10 pm with 2 tired children. Receptionist wasn't very friendly, put the key card at the desk in front of me with no explanation and not a single word. I had to ask which way to go to find the room. Not very 4 star attitude. Can't say anything about other services as we were in transit for 1 night only
Location, better price compare with Sheraton airport, availability of a triple room at a reasonable price.
Transportation from airport to the hotel. tehre wasn't indications about Pullman hotel. We knew later they were going to change the name to actual Mercure. In booking.com the name was Pullman hotel.
Decor is beautiful Rooms were spacious Wi-fi terrific Free airport pickup/dropoff
No airport shuttle instructions (i.e. pickup at Terminal 2) Airport shuttle arrived 20 minutes AFTER our scheduled pickup time, driver overbooked our ride so some had to wait, and wasted 10 minutes chatting outside the vehicle while we waited in the cold
Everything was great once we arrived, but it is a bit of a hassle to get to from within the airport.
Lack of signposting from inside CDG - especially when you get off the CDGVal.
Finding a jacket which we left behind and holding it until we returned
Dirty paper coffee cups
Food and location
Room size tiny, gym facilities laughable as was restaurant service which was slow, forgetful and for which I was billed twice.
The staff was friendly
Being charged an additional 25 euros for parking (even tho we took a supperior room), the food was not great at all nor was the selection. Upon arriving I was told that I there were going to pre authorize my credit card and that I wasn't going to be debited until I leave, yet 1 euro was debited at pre authorization. It's not for the 1 euro but rather for the principle.
- Bar is nice and bar staff are good. - Aeroville Mall is only a short taxi ride (or 2 bus ride) away and it has restaurants, a range of international shops and a decent cup of coffee. - Shuttle bus to airport runs regularly as advertised. - Price is good.
- Restaurant food - really bad (and it has been getting bad reviews for years, so there seems to be little motivation to do anything about it). - Location is awful. There is absolutely nowhere else you can walk to for a meal. You have to get a taxi or a bus to find alternatives. - paper cups in hotel rooms - they're kidding!
It has been a challenge to find the hotel. Signage was not very good, and you have to guess at 3/4 of the way. Parking fees are high per night, 25 euros.
Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Cleanliness was fantastic, rooms were spotless. The free shuttle to/from airport brilliant.
