The hotel was within walking distance to all the tourist sites in Strasbourg. Staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was extremely expensive at 25E per person. We did not eat at the hotel.

The hotel is very well located. The check-in process was really fast and the guy in charge to the parking very nice and efficient. The room was very small and the closet unbelievably tiny. The services of this hotel are really poor. The maid knocked on the door at 16:10 to clean the room; right when we went back to our room. We asked her to return after an hour so to allow us to take a shower. Then we waited in the lobby until 18:00 but when we returned to our room we discovered that nobody cleaned it up. Fortunately we met in the corridor a person from the hotel staff who solved the problem. The day after we had to renounce to the breakfast because of the long queue.

The location is excellent within easy walking distance of the city centre. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room on the first floor was noisy...very difficult to take an afternoon nap before going out on the town. They need more insulation between rooms and in the whole building.

Cleanliness; proximity to the city center; comfortable bed, friendly staff. Extremely difficult to find, even with gps. When we called for directions, we were handed over to someone who did not speak English, so it took quite a while to find it. Once we were there, our stay was enjoyable, the people were friendly, and the room was super clean and comfortable. Restaurant too expensive for breakfast - 28 Euro.

Easy to get to, either by tram or taxi from the train station. The facilities were of a very high standard as you would expect from a Sofitel, but the bonus was the staff who were very welcoming and helpful.
