“The hotel was very clean, the room was very comfortable, and dinner at the restaurant was very good. Staff were perfectly pleasant too. We only stayed one night, and never really explored the town as we simply used it as a stay over to travel to Barcelona early the next morning after spending the day on the beach in St Tropez and driving to Montpellier.”

Reserving through booking.com worked well. Our reservation was in order, the staff was very friendly and accommodated my limited French, but were fluent in English too. We thought our room was very nice, very clean and comfortable. We stayed 1 night on our way to a cruise on the Rhone because we had never been to Montpellier before and wanted to experience the city. The Pullman was right in the Antigone shopping district, with restaurants, museums and the tram stop nearby, so we had the chance to experience the city.

The rooms are very comfortable, the ambience very cool, high technology and design style! The location is superb - walking distance to the old Montpeelier and main attractions - a great good breakfast - Lenôtre confitures and miels, jambon, selecition of bred and fruits, best "tonelle de chèvre fromage" ever! The rooftop pool area was lov We loved our stay and the staff is so kind! It was an unforgetable experience and we definitely will go back! Wished we had stayed longer!

The staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient. We brought our German Shepherd, who is very well behaved, and throughout we felt she was just as welcome as us. The service is first class and the food is very good - really can find no fault with the Pullman Antigone. It is one of my favourite hotels. Wish I had longer.

We stayed here simply because we needed a room and rooms were available when other places were fully booked. However we were very happy with the hotel. We were upgraded without request, all the staff were very friendly and helpful and we loved the bed - as good as our one at home which we had been missing after 2 weeks on holiday in a gite! The building works and the general location made it difficult to find and it would have been helpful if our confirmation email could have given details about how best to access the hotel (ie via the shopping centre Parking)

Modern. Clean. Location. Very small rooms. Room was right next to a very loud trolley line and as a result we could not leave window open. Window was incredibly small and looked right at another wall. Pool lounging area was small and cramped.

very pleasantly surprised, despite the good reviews we had seen which prompted our booking. all staff extremely helpful and pleasant, hotel has been refurbished to a very high standard throughout. we arrived late and asked for snacks in the bar rather than having to get cleaned up for the restaurant. we got room service and restaurant menu offered with private service in the bar area, extremely good quality food at affordable price. good spot if you are passing through (we were on our way to a villa holiday in Spain) or base for seeing the south of France. bit difficult to find if you don't have a good sat-nav, but don't let it put you off!!

Went to Montepellier for two days buisness trip. The hotel is outside a big shopping centre and 5 mins walk to the city's main square. The rooms are beutifully designed, with quality materials and brand named toiletries. The evening service cleans the room again and replace towles and toiletries. The service desk is fantastic, they go out of their way to help you (well done Alex!). The hotel is not far off from being 5 stars. To go the shopping centre and square you should go through a car park, a bit confusing the first couple of times. Tip. Go out of the hotel, left and left and take a lift (on your left again) and go to second floor. Very easy.

Probably the most confortable bed Ive ever slept in, I want to buy one. Roof top pool was excellent and extremely relaxing. Excellent location (though not easy to find!) for the city. Good points relevant to the four star hotel are also super soft towels, slippers and bathrobes, range of toiletries, sound proofing and 2 complimentary bottles of water each day in the room. It appears that this hotel has been undergoing renovation for some time now. I appreciate that the staff do everything that they can to facilitate the long string of complaints from their guests but I think the reputation of this hotel will suffer from the decision to stay open during the work. Overall standards are far from a four star hotel due to this - power cuts, broken doors, faulty keys, dodgy lifts, broken furniture. Finally, the breakfast is seriously overpriced regards to quality and selection.

The restaurant dinners don't have the quality appropriate to the 4 star hotel, although the breakfast is very good. To find the way to the Hotel is a very complicated problem, even local citizens can not explain you how to get there. There are some construction works all around, and no way to get there by walk, also no sign to help the tourists. You have to go to the shopping mall, then to come down to the parking, then looking for the elevator to go up to the hotel. Also they tried to charge over price from my bank account, but I'm lucky to get the messages from my bank immediately, so I could dispute and stop it, but I think about other tourists...

Room very comfortable especially beds.staff exceedingly charming and helpful. Still being renovated on the exterior and also no access to swimming pool because of a problem.the bathroom plumbing is excellent but bath very slippy and should have rubber suction mat for underfoot whilst using shower.also bath very high and quite difficult to get in and out. Could do with having hand grips.breakfast ridiculously overpriced.so we did not have it in hotel.

I liked that even though we arrived early there was absolutely no problem with our checking in and the room we were given was extremely comfortable and luxurious. We enjoyed the swimming pool and deck and the closeness to the centre of town and shops.

The hotel was very modern, clean, spacious and comfortable room. Nice extras in the room - complimentary bottled/sparkling water, toiletries, modern hairdryer. The one major disadvantage for this hotel is the confusing entrance. The main entrance is through a shopping mall, in the underground parking garage. There were no signs directing us. We came via the train, and walked in circles to try and find the entrance. We finally made it through the outside entrance (not the shopping mall) after having to go through construction - the hotel is undergoing renovations. This hotel needs to display better signage for travellers. It is a very nice hotel, but when you are tired and travelling, and in a foreign city, the last thing you want is to have to figure out how to get into your hotel!
