The staff was excellent. Double bed was a real double mattress (instead of two twins pushed together). Cost for breakfast was a bit high. |

I have only good things to say about this hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful, courteous and respectful. They spoke excellent English and did not mind that I couldn not speak French. They helped with directions and answered all questions I had. I was able to leave my bags both before check-in and after check-out. |

central location, helpful staff tiny rooms, there was work in the courtyard outside the hotel so a bit of noise( i had read about this on another site and had emailed the hotel to ask if the work had fisished ( i was told it had....but it hadn't!!!). I would say it is a bit much to call this a design hotel...possibly a design B&B....very few room services ( no minibar/ safe/ tea/coffe making facilities....for 1500euro p. |

Central location to the best of Paris, great service, clean rooms. Wifi in the room was terrible but it was very strong in the lobby and they have cables to borrow for ethernet connection. |

Location (opposite to the Sorbonne's main building and 5 min-walk from Luxembourg metro station), Staff (professional and helpful), the bed, the Mac in the room... Everything was great. To be perfect just had to remove the construction and debris going on in the patio. The bathroom was small, although well organized and enough for 1 person. |

The staff was very friendly. The decor was very up to date and well maintained... chic would be a good word to describe the feeling of the hotel. Every room has iMacs, which is great in another country when you just need to quickly check in. The space was pretty good for a European hotel (which is very different than American hotels). The bed was very comfortable also. Not really... some people might find the bathroom smallish, but it was typical for every hotel we stayed at in France or Spain. The only other thing that I can think of is that the walls were a little thin and we could hear our neighbors when they were being loud. But it was only for a few brief moments, so it didn't affect our stay. |

The location of this hotel is perfect, I owned this neighbourhood! loved the proximity to the luxemburg gardens, the notre dame, sainte chapelle, It was well priced. rooms are normal for paris *small* , helpful staff. loved the mac in my room, helped me map out and plan for the day, plus send emails back to my family. |

Location is really convenient for tourists like us. Staff were friendly. The design aspect of the hotel is very attractive. The Mac (computer/TV) in the room provides a cool touch as well as functionality. Wireless internet throughout the hotel - perfect for people with wireless devices such as iphones. Room was clean and bedding was of high quality. Our room was really tiny, especially the bathroom (shower). If we had been bigger and taller than average, moving about in the bathroom would have been extremely uncomfortable or even impossible. Renovation was ongoing in the courtyard on to which our room looked, so our window was covered on the outside with a large sheet of plastic. |

It was so near to everything. Flew into Charles de Gaulle and the train left us to Luxenbouge which is just around the corner from the Hotel |

The staff were all very friendly,spoke english and all cleaning was done disceetly. It was a little cold when we got back to our room in the evening around 5pm.Maybe it's just me though.It was warm in later on in the evening. |

The location of the Hotel was perfect for our requirements and we cannot fault the staff and cleanliness of Hotel de la Sorbonne. Should we return to Paris we will definately rebook here. We did not have breakfast at the Hotel as it was not included in the price and the breakfast room was very small, however perhaps had we tried breakfast there our opinion may have differed. |
