The Hotel & Spa de La Bretesche is in the Parc Naturel de la Brière and borders an 18-hole golf course. It has 2 swimming pools, a gourmet restaurant, a bistrot and a spa. The hotel has 30 rooms and 1 suite. They all offer views of the Cour Carrée, the swimming pool, the golf course or the pond. Each has free Wi-Fi access and satellite TV. The Spa de la Cour Carrée offers well-being treatments including massages, body and face treatments and features a multisensorial cocoon. The culinary restaurant, Le Montaigu, offers panoramic views of the lake. Guests can start their evening with an aperitif in the hotel's Bar des Ecuries. Fantastic appearance in the grounds of a stunning Chateau. The staff are friendly and professional and the sevice is first class. Most of the staff were able to speak fluent English. The decor and ambience give the feeling of being in the chateau and is of a very high standard. Restaurant is superb and although fairly expensive is good value for money with exceptional service and quality of food. Bicycles are available to use free of charge to explore the local area.

Le cadre : magnifique. Situé dans un parc, en bordure de la forêt, jouxtant, le golf, chambres, restaurants, bar, spa, ... sont regroupés autour d'une cour carrée dans les anciennes dépendances du château. Tout est à proximité. L'ambiance : sérénité, luxe et bien-être, sans être "guindée". Les accueil et services : personnel toujours disponible et discret, très professionnel mais également sympathique. Les chambres : bon confort. Nuit de bébé assurée. Les restaurants : dîner au restaurant gastronomique Le Montaigu, un pur moment de bonheur, un subtil appariement de saveurs pour des mets d'excellence. Déjeuner à La Brasserie : convivial, rapide, plats très bons et variés également. Le golf : très boisé, bien entretenu, sans difficultés majeures, alors facile de "scorer" ??? Pas si simple... Les soins corporels : un large éventail de massages super agréables et relaxants. Mon coup de coeur restera, sans conteste, le bar installé dans les anciennes écuries : cadre sublime pour prendre un verre ou bouquiner. Le spa : un peu minimaliste (sauna à infrarouge peu performant, piscine un peu fraîche, pas de hammam ni jacuzzi,...). Mais cela reste un détail au regard de la qualité de tous les autres prestations et services. Chambres et salles de bains un peu petites.

Je vertoeft op een super locatie in een wereld van luxe Een kasteel , en wat voor een, is werkelijk iets fantastisch om even weg te dromen en zo een fijne vakantie te beleven Wij wilden 1 dag later aankomen dan wij eerst boekten en ondanks dat we, +- 3 weken voor onze aankomst vroegen om ons verblijf met 1 dag te verlaten kon dat niet meer Wij zouden ook 2 nachten blijven zoals eerst voorzien ( dit bij rechtstreekse booking in het hotel )Dus wat flexibiliteit zouden wij op prijs stellen

We have stayed at La Bretesche many times and think it is one of the most charming, comfortable and beautiful places to stay. The food is exelent in both resturants and service friendly and charming. We hope to go again soon. There was nothing to dislike at La Bretesche.
