only a few tiny things, like the shower was not very powerful, only earl grey teabags provided in the room but 'normal tea' would have been nice, and the breakfast was not worth the money for us which put us off eating a meal in the hotel. Nothing that would put us off enough not to go again though.
My husband and I loved the location, our sea view balcony and witnessing the sun setting each clear night! the room was spotless and had complimentary gowns and slippers, free wifi and relevant channels on the telly, i.e British programmes! we enjoyed using the spa too, we had massages and used the sauna, and pool (they specialise in hydro therapies so I had water showering down on my back during the massage, but other types are also available) we were so close to the beach, the tiny town was lovely and had everything we could need, patisseries, good restaurants (La Villa is a Pizzeria and their pizzas are incredible!), shops for clothes, gifts, art, bars, an ice cream parlour, a casino and a small supermarket too. we did the cliff top walk too which took us to another small town which had more lovely restaurants and a small harbour, where we went on self drive miniture boats on the small lake, ate at a chip shop and looked around the two huge antique shops. The hotel itself was beautiful and the staff spoke fairly good English, and they have a secure underground carpark for €6 per night. We felt relaxed the whole time, We would love to go back and will definitely be recommending this in the future!
