Location is very good in the old part of Montélimar with lots if bars and restaurtants around. Unfortunately it was ouring with rain and we did not venture far. The hotel is in the middle of renovation and it was a bit chaotic with ladders, buildling materials and new pieces of bathroom equipment ready for installation all over the place. Our room, however, had been finished and was very tastefully done in typically French fashion.

Excellent location, reasonable price, safe parking, courteous and friendly staff. The hotel has very niece ambience and perfect location to visit the Ardeche region and Provence.

We have stayed at the Sohynx several times over the years, but now it is under new ownership/management it has improved beyond recogmition. The way the rooms and bathrooms have been redesigned so that they combine luxury with practicality is excellent. Also, the hotel retains its quiet old-world charm and character. The breakfast was excellent, the hospitality , courtesy and service were first class, and the owners went out os their way to make one feel comfortable. We shall certainly come again! It is an excellent stopover and also a place to spend 2/3 days at to explore the surrounding area

Le personnel de la réception est très aimable Belle demeure de caractère calme et très bien située, restauration pour petite et grande faim dans un rayon de 50 mètres, et pour se détendre, présence d'un superbe parc verdoyant entretenu avec soin. Nous y retournerons...

Je connais cet hotel depuis de nombreuses années et je n'ai jamais été déçu lorsque j'y séjourne. Acceuil, gentillesse, côté "famillial" en plein centre ville (petite) proximité des cinémas situés à une centaine de mètres, restaurants (médiocres) mais pour l'hôtel : tjrs très bien avec son prkg privé sécurisé, son calme, son charme ... bref une valeur sure.

El Hotel esta en un edificio antiguo reformado muy bonito. Esta muy cerca del centro. Muy bien situado para salir a pasear y comer y cenar. El desayuno es bastante pobre.

Men sprak goed Engels. Je kunt direct naast het hotel parkeren. Mooi pand. Direct naast allerlei leuke restaurantjes en een aardige winkelstraat. Wifi werkte goed. Men rekende niet de via booking.com afgesproken prijs voor de kamer (bleek achteraf, toen we al weer onderweg waren), maar 4 Euro meer. Even opletten dus.

Das Hotel ist sehr romantisch und doch mitten in der Stadt. Besonders angenehm war der Innenhof, in dem wir unser Auto abstellen konnten und der abends abgeschlossen wurde.
