Splendid Hotel  

Location was excellent for exploring Annecy.

Breakfast is quite expensive. The room we had (216) was right above the kitchen and therefore we were woken up early in the morning by staff preparing breakfast.

Very friendly and helpful reception. We had trouble finding a good restaurant in the old town of Annecy and asked the owner of the hotel for a recommendation. She pointed us to a first class restaurant for which we were very grateful! When leaving she even presented us with a wonderful "Reblochon" cheese. A fantastic stay at the hotel. I would definitely recommend that hotel!!

The lady worked in the reception is very pleasent, home is very clean and comfortable, location excellent, very close to the old city and the lake. We need to park in the city hall but it is very close, only 2 mins of walking and hotel cover the cost of the night, by the end of the day, it is not expensive. Perfect choice of the city investigations.

Nothing really, only small remark, the pillow is too soft, neck hurts in the morning, but it is not a big deal.

We arrived by train, it was a 5 minute level walk from the station to the hotel, we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who spoke very good english, booking in was very simple and we were directed to our room. The room was clean, light and very spacious with very nice decor. As we had no car it was good that the hotel was central to all we wanted. A walk by the lake or into the shopping area with some lovely cafes and resturants was only a few metres away. The staff were friendly and efficient and kept our room beautifully clean. Everything about our stay was very good and we would definately go back again. The buffet breakfast was good value and very plentifull

Best location downtown close to the 'old historic' district. The overview on the lake from the breakfast room is just awesome. Quiet and comfortable. Very good fares. Bookmark this hotel for your stay in Annecy !

The staff is courteous and helpful ; the rooms decorated with taste are comfortable and superbly clean. No noise from outside intrudes into the rooms on the front of the building thanks to the double windows, and the view over the waterway and old trees is very inspiring. A hotel for refined and discrete people, with good value for money and "no nonsense" amenities.

Nothing that I really dislike ; the most negative comment could be about the fact that the hotel has no parking space of its own, but there is a public underground car park 100 meters away (shut and protected at night) and the hotel offers a voucher that compensates for the cost of night parking, so that the inconvenience is really minimal.

RIght next to old city looking out over the Lake. Great access for pedestrian shopping streets/commercial zone(in-door shopping center). Well appointed, quiet room with self-serve coffee/tea service. Easy to access free wi-fi throughout hotel, computer available on 1st floor for guest use. Public underground self parking =no in and out privileges= but, hotel provides ticket to verify free 8pm to 8 am parking. Be sure to note your car slot number and floor color before taking elevator/stairs. You need to remember which staircase you exited from....Bring your parking ticket from the car...you must pay either outside or in stairwell before driving out. Machines take cash and EuroCards. Beggars sit near the outside payment kiosks but are non- obtrusive and if you need help, there are more people outside paying then in a staircase. Great hotel/location/staff.

Stricter control of "2 minute baggage deposit" users at hotel entrance. If a spot isn't open, it is a chore to return for another try to unload. The hotel is on a busy two lane, one-way street and buses whip right past. You best be confident in your parking skills to get into a slot under pressure of impatient city people stalled behind you as you park. There is no way to double park! Don't even consider it. Hotel staff will not come out to help unload!
