correspondence of service to price, rather quait place with nice pedesterian distance across the public gardens to main city locations and close to Metro stattion, polite porters
Towers were not renewed Absence of coat hangers in buth
I got a corner room and it was spacious. Definitely ask for a corner room (I had 407). Staff is friendly. Subway is close and Palais de Congrais is 7 minutes (and euro) by taxi.
Not corner rooms are pretty small and have only a small shower+toilet room. Won't do good for a company of more than 2.
good location, hygiene, friendly personnel
small room, hotel was currently being (re)builded -> dirty stairways, noisy, breakfast was very limited
Safe surroundings, close to underground and grocery. Breakfast was plentiful but always the same. Wifi worked good. Air conditioning.
The room was small, but tidy.
The room was very pleasant, and the bed comfortable, bathroom adequate. nice few of roof tops.......
No wifi, whether or not it is just on the 6th floor is unknown, but a real no no if you need it for business. Also the mirror in the bathroom was hung by an 8ft man!! and likewise the hair dryer! Why cannot that go in the main room near a mirror, the cord is too short to use it, very annoying. For the price I would also expect nicer towels, I had thicker towels at a budget hotel. Small things but they all go to make the experience less enjoyable.
Location excellent for Espace Champerret & selection of shops and reasonably priced restaurants. reasonably sized rooms nicely decorated.
The owners have been on an economy drive since my last visit. Nice decor didn't make up for the stupidly tiny plastic cups. The toilet door didn't shut properly. They used to give you bottled water on your arrival, an nice smile and a choice of breakfast in a bag, Now the place seems 'grumpier' and 'meaner' somehow.
Generally is nice, will book again.
Uncomfortable smell in the room, honestly, Maybe it's paint smell.
I liked that there is secure parking round the corner from the hotel that had 24hr access, as on other visits to paris, parking can be a nightmare. the staff advised the best bars and eating houses in the area and the ones to avoid.
Very nice service people. Good localization.
No basic hygienic cosmetics avaliable (shower gel, shampoo, balm...). Not very clear toilet. Small rooms. No drinks at room no fridges)
location is not bad.
single room is very small, especially the bath room.
Even at the frontside of the hotel no noise of the traffic in the street, because of good isolation.
No curtain in the shower.
nice, quite spacious and clean room and bathroom close to metro station
everything was good
Very helpful staff
It was good value and no frills. I did appreciate the tea tray and coffee. The free lunch box was good.
The shower was really too small for my tall husband!! From the photos we thought the room would be bigger!
Space well managed and very functional
Monotony at breakfast only pastries no variety
The Hotel was still under "Renovations in Progress" during our visit. But it has all the makings of a pleasant, simple and "value for money" Paris hotel. The staff were polite and helpful The room was comfortable. The free breakfast was excellent. The hotel is very near to the metro, in a quiet environment and there are several nice restaurants close at hand. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again.
The price/quality balance was really ok. The underground station is 200 meter away and takes you directly to Paris' city center (Opéra).
Weird receptionist. We paid our tax-supplement on Friday and were asked to pay it again on Sunday as his colleague didn't tick it off in our booking file. I'm afraid if it will be taking off my visa once more...
Very good location, near Louise Michel metro station, comfortable bed, hair dryer and kettle in the room, very tasty breakfast, very nice breakfast room manager named Francine - always helpful and smiling
We booked room with a bathtub, but get one with shower only, shower holder was broken so we had to hold shower head all the time, wi-fi was very poor almost nonexistent, the room and bathroom was poorly illuminated, lights in bathroom was broken -except one small led lamp, forget about reading or doing make up, during check-out the receptionist tried to chargé us second time for the room, during our stay there were still renowations made - it was stated that they will end before our arrival
Glean rooms and comfortable beds. Booked twin rooms as thought they would be bigger but this was not the case. Still small room with two beds pushed together. Having said that the room was clean and functional with tea/coffee making facility. Bathroom was clean and towels changed daily. Breakfast adequate and staff very friendly and helpful. Good location with plenty of shops and restaurants right on the doorstep.
Hotel still being renovated. Disappointed when we arrived to see reception area still not completed despite the hotel web site stating hotel has been completely renovated. Not what you want to see when you go on holiday. Had I been aware of this I would have cancelled the entire booking as I booked 4 rooms for my husband and myself and a group of friends who were visiting Paris to attend Longchamp for the Horse Racing. From reviews I knew building work had been in progress but in my opinion it was not ready to accept guests. On the plus side breakfast room was lovely and I am sure once hotel is fully refurbished it will be an excellent hotel to stay. I understand it will be another two weeks before the work is finished.
Close to Metro station Very friendly people
friendly staff with good English
Room 4m x 2m, shower box 0.6m x 0.65m with door opening inwards - all for 74 EUR/night Booking this room through booking.com was 15% more expensive than booking through hotel site and twice larger room.
