Staff were extremely helpful and welcoming and the upgrade from a room with a view to a top floor room with a spectacular view was easy and not budget breaking |

Easy accessibility to the greater Eiffel Tower area. Exceptional courtesy and cooperation of hotel staff, who went out of their way to be of assistance. |

The excellent service at the front desk. The room we had was an upgrade with excellent views. We appreciated that. A very nice bathroom but the toilette seat broke. I suspect a material or design flaw. Otherwise very nice. |

The view of the eiffel tower from the junior suite is incredible, worth every penny, The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Our room and bathroom was very clean and spacious. Honestly in my opinion, there was nothing that we disliked. |

The location was excellent. There was some city noise because it was at a busy intersection, but this was to be expected. We had a great view of the Eiffel Tower from our balcony. The staff was generally friendly and could communicate with us in English. |

Location was perfect for seeing the sites. Loved having Rue Cler a few blocks away. Views of the Eiffel Tower were wonderful. Front staff was always helpful and friendly. Felt dated, and in need of some attention. Carpet in our room smelled bad. Room was so small, we needed to step onto the bed to open our window. Shower pressure was almost non-existent in the shower. |

Nearby a supermarket (did not work never for a week of stay), the underground (works regularly), Tour d'Eiffel (works regularly), purely, comfortably, all also works how we and expected from three stars in Paris. It is no more, not less. It is Paris, rooms here in three-stars hotels small, a little adapted for life. This hotel not an exception. For 185 euros a day in other city it is possible to find in hotel: a breakfast, the conditioner, a wide choice of TV of channels. Absence of bruises from constant collision with furniture and walls. In this room there is nothing from the specified options. However, a ceiling high. The account made out very amusingly: at first they have confused to me in plus (wished to take for 380 euros less, having considered that I for 2 days have paid earlier that was not in a reality). Then, in gratitude for my honesty, have in addition counted 2,5 euros, having referred to errors in arithmetics … |

Closeness of the hotel to the Eiffel tower and other main attractions. View of the eiffel tower good. Helpful and informative staff. The 'superior double room' is anything but superior. it felt like we were in a cupboard - far too small. |

All hotel staff were very pleasent and helpful, with excellent english and also provided us with a map with sights to see. Room was perfect, had balcony and a great view of the Eiffel Tower. Within walking distance of plenty of bars/restaurants. We would stay here again. |

I have no choice to stay in this hotel as this is my first time to Paris. I felt I was cheated cause I thought i have a room with air condition but when I checked in the room is with fan and when I asked for an air condition room I was being charged for extra which I think not value of money. |

It's clean but it smells perfume or something else in the room after cleaning. The attitude of cleaning ladies were not so nice. |

As a single, elderly lady I loved the atmosphere of tranquility and peace in my room. I enjoyed the cleanliness and order. I enjoyed the view from my window - space and, of course, the Eiffel tower. Not to mention the polite, observant "guards" downstairs: special thanks to you for the feeling of safety and trust! A/C would have been great for someone beyond the Arctic Circle... |

Some staff were nice. Even if we stayed in the 2nd floor, we had a view of Eifffel Tower. Some other staff were not so friendly. I had to pay extra because of my daughter, so I asked for extra towel. But he said they didn't have any extra towels until next day. Room was extremely small. No ac. Just a fan. Not bad for the day of our stay, but it may not be appropriate if it's one of those hot days. |

The location of the hotel was excellent. Next to Ecole Militaire and 5 minutes to the Eiffel Tower. It has good communication; metro station in front of the hotel apart from good restaurants. The room was small but comfortable. We asked for an upgrade to have views of the Eiffel Tower. |

Look no further! This is the perfect hotel for a stay in Paris! The staff was knowledeable, warm and friendly - I arrived hours early, jetlagged and worn, and they were immediately prepared to allow me to check in. My view of the Eiffel Tower from my window was awe-inspiring, I gazed at it's morning sunrises and twinkiling nightlights. How lucky I felt! The cleanliness and amenities of my room were unsurpassed! The location is ideal. Nearby cafes, street market for fresh foods, metro stop, and within walking distance of all major attractions. As a girl on my own, safety was important. I felt as at ease as I would at home. My choice of the Splendid Hotel made my first trip to Paris even more magical than I had imagined.I will eagerly return! I adored it all! |

The hotel is in a fantastic location. The staff are multi-lingual and were very pleasant and approachable. The room was small (we opted for a superior double), but actually very cosy. The halls lights turn off in the hotel to conserve energy (why some people consider this a problem I have no idea) but are simple to use. The hotel has a bar on the ground floor which we didn't utilise, nor did we have breakfast as it was expensive compared to the local cafes literally seconds away. Room was outfitted with a modern TV, a very good air conditioning unit and wireless internet (with different usage plans). The bathroom was also suitable, modern furnishings with a bath/shower combo. It was a very comfortable experience overall. The cost of amenities was high, room a tad smaller than expected. No damaging complaints. |
