Splendid Hôtel Tour Eiffel    

Location, location, location! We had a balcony that had a great view of the Eiffel Tower and the staff was very accommodating when we arrived early.

I loved this location! It was close to everything, we walked everywhere and there was a metro to get around the places that we couldn't walk to. The bed was extremely comfortable!! The staff was very nice and accommodating and was very helpful in helping us get around.

The room was extremely too small and made us feel very closed in! For the price, this was not a very good value! The shower had no water pressure which made it hard to take a shower. The tv didn't have many channels....and the walls were extremely thin, we could hear our neighbors in the next room.

The staff was wonderful to us.

The rooms are very small for the cost. Of course, being Americans, we're used to bigger.

We opted for the breakfast at 12 euros per day and found it to be not a good value.

Location of the hotel is perfect - just 5 minutes walk from Eiffel Tower. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

It's quite old hotel but despite of that everything was clean and tidy and we really enjoyedn our stay.

Nice room, clean. Great location near to the Ecole Militaire tube station. Very close to Eiffel tower. We could see it from our room if we opened the window. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel so can't comment on that. I would stay there again as it was lovely and we could see the

Showerhead was broken and we had to tell them 3 times before it was fixed but the staff were very friendly.

We loved the view of the Eiffel Tower from our room (4th floor) and how close to the major Paris sights it was. We loved that it was close to Rue Cler to get fresh foods and plenty of cafes. It was great to have a nice big bathtub when most bathrooms in Paris hotels are very small. Overall it was very clean.

Hotel Splendid did not have free WiFi. The other 3 hotes we sayed in Paris all dd. The front desk asked me how long I would need the WiFi ad they woud charge me accordingly!! Bummer for my daughter. We had difficulty opening our room since it was an older hotel and it had regular keys. We could not find the hallway light so easily. It did not come on by itself when persons walk in. My daughter had a tough ime regulating the hot waer in the shower resulting in a scalding hot shower. Also, I had originally booked this hotel for 4 nights and had double booked with another hotel website but yours had a better price. The hotel took it upon themselves to cancel your booking without consulting me and keeping the one I dd not want. That left a bad taste in my mouth since therewas plenty of time o cancel for free. So I ended up cancelling the other one and just booked one night with Booking.com. :(...Then I booked the other nights with a hotel down the street that gave me no problems with double booking and even sent me a personal e- mail welcoming me and saying we could store our bags if our room was not ready s we coud walk around Pars. The location is close to the subway. Staffs are very helpful. The room is a little bit small but comfort.

Extremely friendly and care taking staff. English speaking. Were more than willing to give us all the information about dining, tourist attractions and communications (metro, RER, taxis etc). When we got there, they gave us the hotels business card and told us that in case we got lost we were to ask a cab driver to call the hotel to make sure that we got home safely. I booked four months in advance and wished for a room as high up as possible, and I got a room with an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower! Wonderful! The hotel is located just by the Tourville crossing, swallowing a lot of traffic. This didn't bother us thanks to the amazingly sound proof walls and windows. The bathroom was in outstanding shape, a big bathtub and fresh interior. Free maps availabe at the front desk (no need to buy tourist maps for 5 Euros from people selling them at tourist attractions.)

12 Euro for breakfast is too much to compete with the surrounding availability to amazing french baguettes with all types of topping for 3-5 euros. Wifi was 2 Euro for 30 mins and 5 Euro for WiFi is not much money, but it felt very cheap and wierd to pay for Internet in the hotel, when practically all the restaurants, bistros and bars just 50-100 metres from the hotel offered FREE WiFi. WiFi should be free in this hotel year 2013. The room which I paid 560 Euro for four nights for (140 Euro/night) was very small, but cosy: For my girlfriend and I there was just enough space but we spent VERY little time in the room. We had trouble fitting three suitcases in the room.

Great location, walking distance tothe tower and metro stop a minute away. Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean and tidy. Room cosy. Overall I would recommend you stay.

I loved our view from the jr. suite, the Eiffel Tower was the highlight.

I didn't like the fact that they offered room service to a room with a no eating in the room policy. There was a warning of being charged a 150 euro cleaning fee if caught eating in the room. Very strange.

Great location with excellent view at Eiffel Tower, very close to most sightseeings. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast (a pleasant surprise was that room service was at the same price as restaurant).

The location of the hotel was excellent. Just round the corner from the 'ecole militaire' metro and a few minutes walk from la tour eiffel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was spotless with a fabulous view. There were lots of restaurants and cafes around and we got a very cheap breakfast from the brasserie beside the ecole militaire (The Terrasse).

The location was amazing with nice views of eiffel tower!!

The room we booked was a superior room but was the most basic room we have ever stayed in, small, pokey, toilet was not fixed to floor! Showering was very difficult as hose was two foot long!

Fantastic location and the room had a great view of the Eiffel Tower. Close to Metro station and lots of cafes nearby. Lovely clean room and very friendly staff. Couldn't have asked for more.
