Hôtel du Square d'Anvers  

The hotel’s location is amazing – just a minute from the metro (Anvers) so very easy to access anywhere in Paris. We were lucky enough to get a room with a view - a small balcony and looking across to the Eiffel Tower. The hotel is in a square which seemed mostly residential, so it was very peaceful in the evening. We stayed for 3 nights and, although the room was small, it was comfortable and always clean. The hotel staff were friendly – a different person each night, but the same person working days. The day receptionist was very helpful and happily filled our water bottles each morning before we set off. There are lots of restaurants within easy walking distance, so plenty of choice for dining. If you want somewhere different to the hotel for breakfast, try the cafe on the corner of the square (Les Oiseaux) – fabulous coffee and croissant. For dinner, try La Marmite (walk towards Pigalle). Hôtel du Square d'Anvers is a hotel to use as a base for seeing Paris – the rooms may be small, but we only needed somewhere to sleep so it was perfect for the needs of my son (13) and I. We will definitely return. Highly recommended.

On our last night a couple with a baby had moved into the room next to ours and we discovered just how thin the walls were! Fortunately, not a major issue as the baby went to sleep fairly quickly.

Excellent location, safe, friendly staff, rooms are a bit noisy, so bring your earplugs. Very near Sacré Coeur.

Not value for money. Expensive for a tiny basic room with the smallest shower facilities ever.

They were always willing to help with any issues we had. Very good friendly service.

Great Location, right beside Metro. Staff very helpful, friendly and excellent English. Room cleaned every day. Would stay in hotel again.

The location is good. I would say it's a better area within an area which is not so secure.

The standard is very low. I payed 10€ more for my second night and stayed in a hotel on the other side of the river which was sooo much better.

Front staff is kind. Close to metro station and Nord station. It takes about 3min to metro, 15min to Nord station by walk.

Less amenity.I had to buy conditioner. They can't know that I'm in the room or not from outside. Cleaning staff came to room many times and I felt sorry for her who can't speak English but she is friendly.

The hotel was clean but had no tea or coffee facility (no kettle) & there was no sun roof area so the pictures are not right the picture showing the effel tower is not true and there on tables & chairs we were not happy as my wife smokes so she had to go out side the hotel
