perfect view & friendly staff

room rather dated, shower too small, shower head needed a good clean. Pillows too old & needed replacing. A few ants in the room.

Staff helpful and friendly. Hotel although basic is clean with reasonable breakfast and very convenient to Paris city transport as well as walking to various attractions

The location is very good, nice view from the window, pleasant and friendly staff, good hotel for not long stay, quiet, comfortable and not expensive.

The staff are very friendly, easy to talk to even helped us book a shuttle to CDG

Its proximity to the Anvers metro station, friendly staff, free Wifi, and lots of maps and tour pamphlets at the reception. We were also allowed to leave our luggage in the storeroom after check-out, so that we could shop a little before returning to pick them up again. I booked two rooms - one on the sixth floor, and another on the first. The one on the sixth floor was nice, clean and roomy.

The bathroom was also small. Pillows were a little lumpy though, but still alright. There was no hot water on our last day at the hotel. By the time we checked out, it had not been resolved so we had to either shower in freezing water, or go without a shower. No electric kettle and cups available in the rooms, so it was pretty inconvenient as we had to request from the reception and couldn't have a cup of coffee/tea as and when we wanted to.

Excellent location in between 2 very good metro stations. Our room had a view of the Eiffel Tower and was very comfortable and warm. Very friendly staff.

Great location - quiet square, about 5 minutes walk from the foot of Montmartre. Walking distance from Gare du Nord and plenty of restaurants and bars.

Lift was almost claustophobically small, and the rooms were pretty basic, but it's a basic hotel!

The location for the Metro/ and Gare Du Nord Eurostar terminal. Many good value restaurants nearby. Staff are always polite. My son and I have stayed here several times before when visiting trade fairs.

Bathrooms are very small, and the room we often have, is starting to look quite old. The Bathroom was not perfectly clean but acceptable.

It is an excellent location. Close by the Gare de Nord.Close to Pigalle. At the foot of the Montmatre.

It was dirty. The rooms are very small. The hotel was old and the facilities were also very old and very run down.

Quietness, nearby restaurants with Halal restaurants available to us as we are Muslims, Accessible to souvenir shops, and shopping area. We went to Alhambra by guided tour but five out of nine in our family group came back walking to the hotel. It was a fun walk all the way as the path down had posters on sea creatures and we shopped for souvenirs. The older kids enjoyed the souvenir shopping. We met up with the other four and had a late lunch thereafter at one of the cafes. Taxis were easily available to the airport. Nice view at night to take pictures. The hotel had a very helpful male staff to carry our 9 big luggage bags and four cabin bags.

Taxis drop off not at the hotel and we had to walk about 800 meters to the hotel, worst we have to climb about 150 metre from the base of the junction to the hotel with 13 luggage bags! That was really a strain on all of us especially when you have children in the group.

One of the staff. Sofian I think his name was. He was very friendly and helpful. Good Location right beside the metro and about a ten minute walk from Gare du Nord train station.

Over priced breakfast for very little. The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything. Interior is quite run down. We found a few hairs in our bed sheet which was disgusting. The common room area was quite untidy. The wifi wouldn't work on our second night.

It has an excellent location at the base of Montmatre and only a short bus ride from Gard du Nord and Eurostar.

Excellent location, very friendly staff, rooms always clean - this was my third visit (twice with my son, once with my mother & sister) and we would all happily visit again. In fact, I think I will!

The state of the room: the walls were dirtry , nothing a quick coat of paint couldn't solve. Some part of the furniture were coming apart. The doors of the shower cubicle were broken, there was mildew. A couple of times the towels and the sheets had tears in them. Not good value for money compared with the Avenir Hotel just round the corner that I booked with you and which at 20Euro cheaper per night was much better value for money

Hotel is small, nice location, quiet place, 5 min to Sacre Cure funiculer and tube station. The heart of Monmartre.

Room wasn't too small, but very poor. The shower and toilet were so small that one can't even breeth there. Looks very poor. The young boy on my arrival spoke good English and was very friendly, but in the morning I haven't got my wake-up call and the man at the reception was rude and couldn't speak English. Next time I will find another hotel there.

view from the room is nice (from the 5th floor), location is great, few minutes walking to sacre coeur and a minute to a metro station. the staff is friendly and always ready to help, interntet connection is very good.

Location and price/quality ratio

Location just below Sacre Coeur was great. Park across street made a pleasant view out the window. Quiet street and 1/2 block to Anvers Metro. Pleasant breakfast room. Working small elevator. Plenty of hot water, but fluctuated at times. Hair dryer. Balcony and door outside were great. Area seemed safe.

Old and tired room. Black mildew in shower doors/tile. Only electric plug in entire room was behind the hair dryer hose and diffiicult to use. Hall lights at night not on a sensor--had to know where to turn lights on if you want to walk the stairs. Thin walls, but luckily our neighbors were mostly quiet.

the location is just brilliant! few steps to anvers station and 15 minutes walk to gare de nor station! there are lovely restaurants around the area! The best part was our room in the 6th floor! it was awesome! very clean coz hotel services cleaned our room everyday! the toilet is just perfect and very clean too! new towels and sheets everyday! wi-fi connection is really good! the staff were very nice and considerate they allowed us to leave our luggages at the reception after check out while went for shopping! our entire 6days stay was just great! the best hotel ive evere stayed!
