Cleanliness, friendliness of staff and breakfast standard The room 204 was uncomfortably small with no air coniditioning or other ventilation. It was incredibly hot and uncomfortable and impossible to have a proper night's sleep. I thought I was going to suffocate. |

the good access to the beach (right in front of the hotel with stairs down to the beach very close by) and the old city of St. Malo was an easy 10-15 minute walk |

The hotel is well placed. The staff were brilliant and the breakfast sumptious. We will certainly return. Not the hotel's fault - but one room smelt heavily of cigarette smoke. Perhaps an aircraft type sensor for smoke detection connected to reception would sort it. Reception were most helpful in relocating us to another room. |

Proximity to beach and St-Malo Intra-Muros. Helpful staff. Bedding, carpet and room fixtures were worn out and not very appealing. |

Within easy walk of the walled city, parking near the hotel on the street was not a problem. very short journey to the ferry port (5 mins) Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Would be happy to return at somr future time. Nothing springs to mind. |

The only and to be fair pretty minor niggle was the need to ask staff for coffee or tea! In my previous stays at Mercure hotels coffee has been available from a coffee machine for as many cups as you wish. Otherwise the breakfast was excellent. |

La proximité de la mer, le calme (séjour hors saison), pas de foule pour se balader dans st malo et ses environs Surpris de voir que l'hôtel accepte les animaux (j'ai moi-même un chien et j'aime les animaux). Au niveau hygiène cela est limite et choquant pour un hôtel mercure. |
