convenience to the underground and shops
The size of the room was much greater than expected for a Paris hotel. Super restaurant (Amour) over the road and a prize-winning boulangerie on the corner.
The staff was amazing, without exception. Polite, smiling, helpful. The hotel is so small they always remember who you are, which is a plus. The first night we had a small room, but they immediately offered us a larger one for the next seven nights—much better experience. The rooms were recently renovated (except, perhaps, the bathrooms, which were clean but had a sort of "vintage" look to them), with a modern, essential style.
The hotel was under renovation, and scaffolding was put up on our second day on the hotel façade (outside our window). Drilling and hammering started around 8 am, and because of workers going to and from the second floor, the carpet on the staircase was usually dusty. This also impacted the breakfast area, which was cold due to doors being left open to facilitate workers going through with construction materials. I'm sure the overall experience will improve significantly once the hotel is fully renovated.
The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful.Made us a cup of tea on arrival. Room was clean and spacious. Bed very comfortable. Had tea and coffee making facilities. Great location. Close to two metro stations. Minutes away from Sacre Coeur and Montmartre.Would definitely recommend. Would love to come again.
Building work gave a negative first impression and the work was extremely noisy on our first morning, but this did not detract from our overall experience.
The room was incredible small, and the badroom was even smaller, no space for luggage. Very old and dirty. It should not be classified as a 3 star hotel, but one. Than one morning we woke up with such a noise. Nobody told as that there would be work done at the hotel at 8 am. Really bad experience!
the bed was comfortable and the metro station was closed to the hotel
The room was very small...
there were a good breakfast
we had an horrible room at the first floor, dark and really close to the stair, really noise and narrow
The location is very good.
comfy bed friendly staff
Bathroom was too small The walls were thin, noise easily entered/exited
Convenient location, nice staff. Good breakfast for France: coffee/tea, yogurts, corn flakes, baguettes, rolls, croissants, cheese, ham, sausages and omelette, varied selection of confiture.
We arrived on Tuesday and were checking out of the hotel on Saturday, all the time cash terminal was not worked, so we had to pay for the hotel by cash. Two consecutive nights in the bathroom water flowed from the neighbors above.
Locatia, micul dejun, personalul!
Camera foarte mica!
It is a bit of tourist routes and walking by nearby streets you get real French vibe. Nice breakfast and really nice English speaking personal which tries to help you as much as possible. It is 1.3km from Nord train station (trains from airport come to there).
Price point is almost ridiculous - 8.5 EUR/m2 in off-season (end of October) (in season it is double that). (90 EUR double room - +/- 12.5 m2 including bathroom - room 33). Forget about parking car. That is bad idea to rent a car and park it.
Very small double room and ensuite. Breakfast minimal choice, no cooked food. Whole place needed a good clean!
Very convenient location and quieter area than expected. Lovely independent shops nearby and great food. Reception staff very helpful.
Room 19 was small for a double. OK as we were out most of the time. Some noise from other guests coming and going.
Very good cleaning, free WiFi and big kingsize bed. Supermarket and underground station are near. Hair dryer and teapot were in the room, you can use fridge near the reception.
Sometimes room seems to be very tight. On Saturdays is a bit noisy out.
The size of the room was bigger than we expected, the location was amazing (surrounded by small & wonderfull Coffee-Shops, bakerys, butcher, grocery stores, ...) The staff was very charmy & helpful. Information regarding the complaint of the size of the bathroom from further travelors: it was acceptable and for me it is more important to get a clean than a big bathroom.... Would I choose the same hotel for a second trip to Paris? Of course!
The key system- it is a chipcard and you have to leave it at the reception (for the cleaning staff?)
Staff did a good job was very good location and value for money if we go back to Paris would look at booking in again
room was a bit small room and before you say its Paris room opposite us had double the floor space
Staff was polite, always helpful. Hotel was clean with every day room service, equipment was nice and breakfast very tasty. We had window into the block of other buildings, so there was no noise. Location is under Sacrecare, little bit farther from city center, but with really good traffic connection. Enough also for longer stay in Paris, room was small but sufficient. Price was reasonable for this part of Paris in high season. Next time I will stay there again.
Very clean and tidy. Very helpful staff.
Very thin walls. They hold key at hotel when you go out. No safe in room. Only one plug in room.
If you are a solo traveler , I don't recommend this hotel. Location is not in a good area.
The front desk staff were friendly and spoke excellent English
The room did not represent at all the images we had seen online , there was only one small window in the corner of the room which was on the ground floor next to a storage room . The staff made a lot of noise entering and exiting this location early in the morning. The beds were not comfortable and there was no ventilation in the room which left us with an uncomfortable evening . The breakfast selection was poor . Overall compared to other hotels of similar price range highly disappointing , the images online were deceiving .
Staff was nice and helpful. Good location between St. Georges and Pigalle Metro stops. Great restaurants in the neighborhood.
The Internet connectivity is terrible. Even if you come down to the lobby the simplest online tasks (opening e-mails) can not be accomplished or take a very long time.
Extremely small rooms, extremely bad breakfast service, Never there again.
No value for the money we paid
Breakfast/very very small room/ bath room and toilet
very nice the recieption
A little far away to Metro station
