The staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel is well appointed, with an attractive modern interior and very clean and tidy. The location is exceptional. The room was a little small, but not untypical for Paris. Otherwise the room was excellent. The wooden stairs were shiny and uneven near the ground floor. |

Despite the small size of the rooms, they are very well laid out and contain anything you would need. The bathrooms are excellent and the room overall was spotless. Our room had a lot of light and a nice view. Overall, I would recommend this place to all of my friends and would not hesitate to stay there again. We got a slight bit of attitude when we arrived but then the woman at the front desk warmed up. |

My husband & I stayed here about 6 or 7 years ago and were pleased when we came back this time with the hotel renovations. They have done a very nice job of updating. Hotel is very clean. Staff is very friendly if a bit unorganized. 15 euros for the buffet breakfast seems a little steep. I would recommend walking the short distance to the Boulevard St. Michel and taking advantage of one of the many French bakeries located there. |

Charming boutique hotel, surprisingly quiet, newly renovated with beautifully decorated rooms. Very close to excellent cafes, restaurants, and shopping. Quick walk to Pantheon, Sorbonne, Metro, rer, and Notre Dame area. You can't beat the location. As always in Paris, the rooms are quite small. |

The location was excellent and the staff was incredibly helpful. Several subway stops are nearby the hotel. The rooms were "European Small", very small by American standards. No hotel information or literature in the hotel rooms. |

The Hotel was small enough to feel "like home" but had all the facilities we needed to feel like we were away from home! It would be good to have a small bar. The downstairs breakfast restaurant could be used for this in the evenings. |

The hotel is very modern and everything is brand new. The lobby is gorgoeous with fresh orchids all around you! The front desk staff was extremely helpful and pleasant, especially Lena. The breakfast room staff was also wonderfully friendly! The location was also excellent The rooms are very smalll, but that is to be expected. Also, very limited closet space. |

A recently renovated room to quite a high standard, a very clean Hotel, complimentary soft drinks. The location was good for Parc Luxembourg, the RER, and Notre Dame. Staff were friendly and helpful No hot drink making facilities, the room was quite small but this is normal for Paris, the room was more than adequate. |

I love boutique hotel, that's why i choose Grand Hotel Saint Michel. The decor is perfect for my taste. I had a very confortable room with balcony on the 5th floor, I also like the mini bar. Great job! The bathroom needs some hooks to hang towels etc.... |

Close proximity to all nearby Parisian landmarks and access to free web service with laptops made available to hotel guests. Great food and beverage service on site (downstairs cafe for in-house breakfast but a separate expense, not included of your overall billing), and wonderful architectural/interior features of a very distincitve contemporary nature housed in a building with a more... Although there is no restaurant and/or bar on site per se, there are numerous establishments nearby so while some might view this as a potential point of concern, I did not view it as a drawback. |

Good location, clean and nicely decorated. Airconditioning could not be controlled from the room. Therefore we had to sleep with the windows open. But as the room was on the street side, it turned out to be very noisy. |

The hotel has recently been beautifully renovated, and the rooms are immaculately clean & comfortable. We had a superior room on the 5th floor which included a balcony - perfect for viewing the neighbourhood. The Luxembourg metro is very close, making it a central location for visiting all of Paris (also, this stop is conveniently on the RER B line which goes directly to both airports). The hotel is currently adding ammenities (a room service pamphet showed up in our room half way through our visit). The room lacked any magazines or brochures about timely events or festivals in Paris. Otherwise, it was the perfect place to stay for a week of exploring the city. |

The staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful, and greeted us on arrival making us feel very welcome. Hotel had been very recently renovated and is beautifully designed and decorated. Location is excellent and put us within either walking distance or Metro links for everything we wanted to see on this trip. Very quiet and didn't hear any noise from neighbours or the street. Exceptional value. |

The hotel design and cleanliness was fabulous. Bathroom decoration and furnishing was the best I've ever seen. Free minibar. And a very very nice location close to bus, metro and bicycle station. Definetely stay at the same hotel next time... No lobby bar etc. Breakfast was under the ground so we never had our breakfast in the hotel. |
