Grand Hotel Saint Michel

Sijaitsi erinomaisella paikalla; kävelymatka moniin nähtävyyksiin, sijainti melkein Seinen rannalla ja metroasemat lähellä. Hotelli oli erittäin elegantti ja viihtyisä, ja ilmapiiri lämmin ja mukava. Henkilökunta erittäin ystävällistä ja auttavaista; liput ja kuljetuksetkin hoituivat heidän kauttaan moitteettomasti ja helposti.

Sijainti oli loistava. Siisti, tyylikkään näköinen hotelli kävelymatkan päässä tärkeimmistä paikoista. Kivasti sisustettu huone, jossa erinomainen sänky.

Huoneemme oli todella pieni, eikä siellä ollut edes pientä pöytää ja kahta tuolia. Tosin eipä tullut juuri hotellihuoneessa oltua. Mennessämme huoneeseemme tuoksui home ja ummehtunut haju.

Hotel was very conveniently located in Latin Quarter, close to an RER stop that made the whole city very accessible.

Room size was very small.

Excellent location beside the Latin Quarter, also walking distance to metro.

Found the interior to be a very modern, with red and black paint. Very clean and comfortable though.

Great room and ideal location

The rooms were very clean and we had a room on the 5th floor with a terrace.

The staff were not particularly friendly

Smell of smoke in the room, even though "non-smoking" hotel, after taking a shower, whole bathroom wet since there was no shower curtain, very expensive breakfast 20eur (although might be good, did not try)

The location was exactly what we wanted: walking distance from Notre Dame, Seine River, Sorbonne and St. Michel metro station. The hotel was gorgeous, comfortable and clean. The concierge spoke English and was very nice and helpful.

I was a little too warm in our room and I was unable to make it cooler so I was cordially changed to a higher level room that had cool as well as heat adjustment--an even prettier room! The 2nd floor room was a bit noisy but the 6th floor room was much quieter.

Great hotel in a superlocation close to shopping, restaurants and other attractions. We got a really cozy room with comfortable beds and a nice clean bathroom.

Very comfortable beds; free soft drinks (mini-bar) and tea/coffee facilities; location (reasonably quiet ~ good sound-proofing (3rd floor)).

Did not use breakfast facilities as these appeared highly priced (hence we do know if these were of good value).

Despite the problems, personnel was always trying to help. Location is good. Safe, public parking 1 block away. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Good TV.

The hotel tries hard to be different, modern and "design". In my opinion, it tried too hard and got tacky. It lacks the usual parisian charm and does not deliver in terms of service. No electrical adapter to lend to every guest, as they claimed. Hence difficulties to use laptop. Problems with elevator, turned off many times of the day. After closing the account and paying in full, got email back home with extra charges they "forgot". I think since no new statement was sent, they should not have charged the little difference as it was their fault. Tea pot in the room did not work for 2 days. Lacked a piece and it took them that long to replace it.

Good location in Latin quarter. Near Metro station and rer. Good service and breakfast.

During Check out they could not process my visa card with Hotel payment via their terminal ( about 2000 Eu), although I have anouth money on my account and had not any restriction on it's using. So I was forced to go and take the cash from the same visa card on nearby Bankomat. The staff explained me that their bank do not accept such large sum of money :-( ????
